During the time that I was her patient she was often on leave, and the doctor that was covered her practice did not return calls. I had a really bad ear infection that didn't get treated for weeks because I couldn't get anyone at her office to return my calls. Worse, she completely misdiagnosed my mom's Lyme Disease, trying to tell her she had stomach flu because that was what was going around. I wouldn't recommend her as a primary care physician.

Later decided to give her office a call and just try her out. They were so accommodating! Dr. Weinstein came early at 8:30am to squeeze me in on her booked up day and we were impressed. She is the quiet kind not really chatty but she answered all of our questions thoroughly and was really patient with us. I am almost ready to give birth now and I am hoping that she will be there to deliver my baby boy. She has been amazing and supportive through out the process. We had a few issues during our 2nd trimester, this doctor always made sure to call us and talk to us after every "specialist" visits. It meant a lot to us because it was a difficult time in our life. She made sure all the test were done and no stone was left unturned. I am happy to say it was all a false scare and everything is fine. I will always be grateful to this doctor for being there for my family.. also a plus the wait time is never that long. I hope there are more doctors out there like her. I booked a house call on the Domus website and the next morning Dr. Gagarkin came to me, at my home, right on time. No commute, no waiting room, no rescheduling my whole day around a 15-minute appointment. In addition to the convenience of only needing 30 minutes for my appointment, the level of care was also above and beyond what I had come to expect from a doctor visit. Dr. Gagarkin listened carefully, asked thoughtful follow-up questions, and worked with me to land on a solution that actually fit my situation rather than a one-size-fits-all type of treatment. With my previous doctor I had to sit in a waiting room to be called, then sit in a treatment room to answer 20+ questions from a nurse, then wait in the treatment room after being told "the doctor will be in shortly". A few minutes later I would finally see my doctor for quick 5-10 mins while they rushed through a checklist to get to the next patient. My son goes to Weill Cornell to see his pediatrician. Everything so far has been great. When we…read moreneed care we are able to get care, usually the same day. We've seen a few different doctors (sometimes we aren't able to see his PCP) and everyone is very knowledge, cordial and kind. The nurses are all great and attempt to calm my son down who get a a bit nervous as he's only 2.5 (he started seeing his doctor at 18 months when we moved to NYC). At times during afternoon visits when they're busier the wait time can be a little long but that's fine. We are patient and things work out.
