We are so happy with America's Best!…read more I had my eye exam performed somewhere else. The cost of their glasses were not in my budget, even with my insurance coverage. I checked my insurance and America's Best was a covered provider. I took my prescription there and found their prices were much more reasonable. My son also needed glasses and the price for his lenses and frames were very reasonable. The customer service we received from Carin, was exceptional. She was able to give us both a great price and were so helpful explaining all of the options available to us. If you needed glasses, I would definitely recommend America's Best on Lima Road. We were very happy with the service and our new glasses.

When trying contacts (that didn't work and I was unable to see) I was scolded for not wearing them into my appointment. Then, I purchased the highest tier of prescription glasses I could in November of 2022, only for the lenses to have a stress fracture down the middle less than a year later. When going in to have the lens replaced, I was told I didn't purchase a warranty and "What do you want us to do?". I wanted to be able to see out of my glasses. I was never offered a warranty, nor was there any proof that a warranty was offered and I declined. I have a toddler at home and can assure you I would have purchased a warranty if it was offered. I've had other pairs of glasses from other optical stores last years without issue. You will pay hundreds of dollars for low quality lenses that have no warranty associated with them. There are MANY options for optical stores in Fort Wayne, and I will never choose America's Best again. I hope this review saves you from making the same mistake!

The person helping me with glasses, ordering contacts, and payment was able to find me frames that were a better fit for me. In that time, I've gotten glasses from small independent boutiques, big discount retailers, warehouse stores and the big chains in the mall. But my recent experience with Meijer and Janet, the optician, tops them all. Meijer had a nice selection of frames and Janet was just great at helping me find the best pair for me. I have a challenging prescription and, with Janet's help and Meijer's terrific prices, was able to get a nice pair of glasses, with 1.74 high index progressive Zeiss lenses, for about half of what I paid last year from a local optical chain here in Fort Wayne. They are so accommodating with appointments and glass repair and any mishaps that we may have. They are not only nice but they are personable and like to chat for a few to get to know you better. That friendly demeanor moves to the back offices too. The dr's assistants are so friendly and make sure you're calm and they tell you step by step what is going to happen. The dr is amazing. We love her. She is so sweet, nice and personable. When you need new glasses they usually come in very quickly and it's easy peasy to pick up without making another appointment. It's 6 years. Funny they don't tell you that when you hand them $98 though. They sure didn't tell me. 7 years ago I purchased 4 Cooper tires from Walmart at the Lima Rd store in Ft.Wayne, IN. Store #4230. I purchased the road hazard protection @ $10 each and the lifetime balance and rotation pkgs @ $12 each for a total of $98. I took my truck in today to have my tires rotated and balanced. The woman that checked me in varified what I had and told me there would be no charge. They took my truck to the bay and in about 10 to 15 minutes another girl brought me out my keys. I asked her are they done? They can't be done? She said I don't know they just told me to bring you your keys. I walked up to the desk and the original woman that checked me in was there. I said they're not done already right? She said no they told me to tell you they can't do it because my tires are over 6 years old. Oh really? Why does it say lifetime? The pkg I bought is Lifetime. So lifetime is only 6 years? She apologized to me and said I was just told to let you know. I told her I wanted to talk to whomever that was. 2 gentlemen came out. I mainly spoke with Ismael. He told me my tires are junk. They are far from junk. Got no where. Asked to speak to the manager. He said there's not one there. I asked when would one be there. He said he didn't know. I said, you don't know when a manager will be here? He said I know there won't be any here all week. I asked, OK how about next week? He said I don't know if one will be there or not. SERIOUSLY? The woman that checked me in spoke up and said there will be a manager here Monday morning. Thank God for some honesty. When I purchased these tires our mileage was 228,597. Today my mileage is 260,674. That's 32,077 in 7 years. 4,582 a year. We don't drive this truck fulltime and the tires are in good shape. No reason at all that they can't be rotated and balanced. I made the decision to buy from Walmart versus anywhere else #1 because of the price and the road hazard/balance and rotation options. In hindsight what did I save? Nothing. I actually spent $98 more for absolutely nothing. My next call will be to Cooper tire to let them know Walmart says their tires are junk at 6 years.
