History
Established in 1985.
Aboite Family Eyecare Center was established by Dr. Thomas Zachman in October of 1985. It was first located on Covington Road in the Time Corners area of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The clinic has grown every year since then and has become one of the larger and more successful independent Optometry practices in northeast Indiana. This growth has been largely accomplished by word-of-mouth referral, due to our efforts to provide our patients with high quality individualized eye care and continually striving to provide excellence in service. In 1995, because of the growth of the practice we relocated to Dr. Zachman's newly constructed and spacious office building, located at 7625 W. Jefferson Blvd. It is in the Midwest Office Medical Park, across Jefferson Blvd. from Lutheran Hospital.
Meet the Business Owner: Thomas Z.
Dr. Thomas R. Zachman earned both his bachelor's degree and also his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University. In 1985, he established the Aboite Family Eyecare Center in the Time Corners area. He moved the practice in 1995 to his more spacious new office building, which he designed himself. It is located at 7625 W. Jefferson Blvd. in the Midwest Office Medical Park, across Jefferson Blvd. from Lutheran Hospital.
