Second call - advised I needed to make an appointment and was told first available would be in March. Suggested they send out their notifications earlier if appointment is suggested in Feb. Was told that was not her job. Suggested she pass the word out. Asked when I could get an appointment in March -- staff said -- she was looking and then came back with 31 March in late afternoon. Seriously? Looking for another DR -- hopefully Dr Krach reads these. Staff is LESS THAN HELPFUL!

The receptionist was friendly and they were very flexible in accommodating my schedule. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted with possibly the nicest doctors office I've ever seen. I didn't have to wait long before I was called back for my exam. Dr. Mummert was extremely friendly and professional. She took the time to understand my situation and really seemed to care. The selection of available frames is second to none, I've been wearing essentially the same style of glasses for the past ten years or so because everything else at my old optometrists office seemed to be made for 90 year old women. Now I finally have something different and I'm thrilled with my glasses. I don't write many reviews and never expected I'd be writing one for an optometrist, but when you find one this good and know how bad some can be I feel a personal obligation to inform people. If you're in the market for a new optometrist, please do yourself a favor and visit Envision Eye Care.

He breaks down your eye health like how a professor would - leaving you smarter and more confident about your vision. A literal angel. The exams (contacts + eye) were thorough, and his latest high-end tech made the whole process feel modern and easy. His staff were super friendly and welcoming too. Atmosphere: The office is clean, open, and inviting. I didn't spot a glasses try on area, but the space feels nice. They have toys for kids too. Parking is limited to a few spots out front and on the side. Eye must say...you left a great impression! I'll see you next year, thank you!! Pun intended. :)

I am not one to brag about places at all, but this place even for the drive was well worth it!

They were very professional and kind as they confirmed my eye infection. This was an abnormal office visit as it was just Dr. Kim and our family. He methodically and expeditiously worked us through the enrollment process - not his gig I'm sure. Dr. Kim was excellent about explaining what was happening and what was coming next. He had to inflict some pain on me but was very gentle and encouraging as we got through a tough situation together. Dr. Kim was great about setting up the next all important appointment on our schedule. Our follow up with Dr. Kim was just as encouraging. He was very kind and helpful and encouraging. I don't know how the rest of the doctors in this practice are...Dr. Kim was outstanding. As a review on the rest of the center. You will find IRC in an isolated building set back off the road. The sign is easy to see. Making a U-turn if you are going east bound is a challenge. Otherwise not too difficult to find. There is plenty of parking near the entrance. The lobby is large and comfortable. The whole facility has a bit of a dated feel though it has nice wooden floors and trim. The staff here was very friendly for the first visit. The were helpful getting paperwork done and setting up the next visit. I honestly don't know all the types of services they offer. In my case...the first two visits have been excellent!

It was 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment before the process began. The total time of my appt from the time first seen to leaving the business after ordering eyeglasses was 2 hours. This place is very professional and Dr. Bidlack was courteous, informative and and overall great experience. He did not rush the appointment like most chain eyeglass stores do. The customer experience was first rate. My only complaint was that the eye glass tech who set up my order did not do a very informative job in letting me know pricing options. He set me up with best of the best of which i would of ordered anyway but it would be nice if he offered per say alternatives. An exam with the ordering of a set of safety glasses and personal glasses set me back over $700.00. The upside was my glasses arrived way earlier then expected. Though i would like i can not expect pricing comparitive to internet businesses that have little to no cost in operating expenses. With all that i've said i will state i will go back to Van Wert Vision again. I desire the personal small town experience. I want to be seen as a person and not a dollar sign and VWV made me feel that way. I would rather spend local knowing they will buy my product if they so desire. I would recommend Van Wert Vision to anybody seeking eye health, eyewear needs.
