So I said then who can I call to make an appointment bc your not going to make a 20yr old girl bring 50lb chairs in by herself and he told me that we could call but they aren't going to do anything. What kind of business is that? And also, what happen to just have human decency and helping someone out. Not to mention we weren't asking him to bring them upstairs we were simply asking him to wheel his dolly up a concrete step. So not if your looking for a delivery service go else where.

We had planned to use public transportation to explore Martha's Vineyard and had even confirmed beforehand that our stroller wouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be true. Trying to salvage the day, we called Bluefish Taxi for help. We had 4 adults, a toddler, and one stroller, and were quoted $80 to travel from Oaks Bluff to Edgartown and then Vineyard Haven, with the assurance that the driver would wait for us in Edgartown while we explored. While $80 seemed high, we accepted, given the circumstances. The driver arrived promptly and drove us to Edgartown Lighthouse, but seemed irritated when we wanted to take a few minutes to explore. Feeling uncomfortable, we cut our stop short and headed straight to Vineyard Haven. When we arrived, we were told the fare was $90 instead of the quoted $80. When we called the next day (October 20th) to ask about the difference, we were told the dispatcher quoted us incorrectly and that the driver "did us a favor" by not charging for our toddler. They refused to refund the $10 difference. Let me be clear, $10 isn't the issue. It's the principle. When I'm quoted a price, I expect to pay that price. Especially when the service was already an unplanned expense caused by another transportation issue. The dismissive attitude and refusal to honor their own quote left a bad impression. Bottom line: The driver was punctual, but the experience felt unwelcoming, overpriced, and unprofessional. I can't recommend Bluefish Taxi based on this experience.

I did a terrible job planning my flights and ended up in Boston several hours earlier than my Cape Air flight - not a problem! They put me on the next flight out... and what's more it seemed as if all the employees I dealt with actually enjoyed their job! I found the pilots particularly funny... Now, I must admit I was a bit nervous when I was asked how much I weighed (I assume they do this to calculate the amount of fuel needed) and even more so when I saw how tiny the aircraft was (see picture). It was quite windy out and the aircraft did bounce around quite a bit. However, the views of Boston and then Nantucket were absolutely stunning. The actual plane is tiny and flies fairly low (compared to larger planes) so you will get spectacular views. Definitely a very cool experience. I would recommend Cape Air to anyone, especially to those visiting Nantucket.

She gave us a 3 1/2 hour tour, including lunch, all around the island. She grew up there, so she was extremely knowledgable and a great story teller. I don't usually like tours, but if they were all like hers, I would go on them all the time! A dull day (because it was raining), turned in to a wonderful experience! Melaney ensured that taxis were ready and waiting for our guests. One of my favorite moments though is when I thought folks forgot about taking me to the church once I was ready for the ceremony. So, what did I do? Call Melaney at Stagecoach to get a ride to my own wedding. They were there in a flash and the driver was super patient while we waited to for all the guests to get inside before I got out and went into the church. Turns out they didn't forget me, yet I love that Stagecoach delivered me to my own wedding! Thank you Melaney and team!!!

The other refused to turn the ac on because 'they aren't paid enough and gas is too expensive'. It was shocking (and frankly embarrassing as the person who made the reservation) that our Girl Scout troop was treated this way and that no care was given. The vans were dirty and no help was given in loading the vans. Opportunity given to them to make it right. Head to another company when making reservations. We certainly will next time.
