Starting from the beginning ... the place is very clean, comfy and trendy! Everyone was very friendly and made me feel SUPER welcome. My hair stylist was Kallie Dedmon and what an amazing job this girl did in my hair!!!! She spent a good 15 minutes understanding what I wanted as far as colors, what I think is pretty, what colors I would be happy to have in my hair, etc. She explained the entire process and how she was expecting the color to turn out. It was my first time having an experience like that so right from the beginning I was feeling very confident and happy to be there. The results were AMAZING!!! I have long dark brown hair, I went in for platinum blonde (or as light as she could get my dark hair) peekaboo highlights on the underside of my hair, sent 3 pictures for inspo, my hair didn't turn out like the pictures at all. When I got home and could examine my hair closer in my own mirror and was getting ready to take pictures for instagram I noticed that my hair was uneven and brassy in some areas and some product (shampoo? Idk) had been left on the roots of my hair so I showered and rewatched my hair, making sure everything was washed out. I reached out to the salon, they were very kind and I was able to get in quickly to touch up the uneven part and here's where it gets funny. My mom pointed out to me that my hair is still uneven, I didn't believe her but sure enough it is. Despite my hair being toned a total of 3 times throughout this process I still have brassy pieces. When I went back in a second time for the touch up I felt like I was being rushed, she didn't have the care or attentiveness she had in my initial appointment. She used the wrong toner or something? So she washed it out and put a new one in which turned my hair purple, I live with a blond mom I understand the purple will wash out this was fine, but instead of my hair being platinum blonde it is now silver and it has stayed a silver gray color and you can barely tell I got the peekaboo, when I put it up however at the roots it's got brassy streaks and doesn't look appealing. I understand my stylist said that if I wasn't happy after the purple washed out she would redo it but honestly after messing up twice, I think I'll save my time and go elsewhere. I have had this hair style before in the past and it looked great, I don't know what happened this time. Even with my hair down my hair looks uneven, one side goes up higher than the other. $164 down the drain

It was close (I have to assume) but my hair didn't get styled but rather a half effort with a straight iron (while my roots were still moist) because that's what she wanted to do rather than blow it out like the picture and like I said I preferred. Because of this I absolutely could not compare my hair in any way to the picture I brought in to say whether or not that's what I got. I didn't get to see the back of my hair at the salon so that was different. I was a little disappointed I had to go all the way back home to re-wash my hair and blow out/style it because I think that should be included in the hair cut. Something I would change, the hair wash station... I had the seat I was sitting on and my back never hit a back rest when I leaned back so all my weight was resting on the hair bowl with my neck and I had to use all my muscles just to try and help hold me. Its the very first wash station as you walk in that area. Also no towel to cushion my neck like other salons do. It was physically painful. In a pinch I would go here again. Everyone seemed very friendly and got along well. The lobby area is nice. No secretary or greeter at the desk though.

Today i received a call from the salon and was questions on why i was late, I had canceled that appointment and so i was confused. It was just my luck that my phone died while I was on the phone with the salon, after my phone charged back up I had received a text from a mobile phone number calling me "rude". I assume they figured I hung up, but this is extremely rude and unprofessional. Sadly I do not see myself ever booking another appointment.

My daughter walked in with a bad haircut and dye job done at a different salon, that she was trying to grow out. She was hesitant and worried about getting it done. The stylist took the time to really talk to her about her hair goals, and what she wanted it to look like. She was honest with what she could do to fix it, and suggested what would make it look better. Her hair looks absolutely stunning. She has incredible highlights, with rich red undertones. The haircut is modern and looks like something out of a magazine. And I was super surprised at the very reasonable cost! My family has found their new salon home in the Springfield area. I felt like the stylist cared about how her hair was going to look and not just about getting the next client in the chair.
