I really can't get enough of the owners. They're the kindest people. I tried the $.99, $1.09, $1.79, $1.99 cleaners and come on, they don't really clean your clothes. They starch and press your dirty clothes and hope you don't notice. Not at Mart Cleaners. They are professionals who actually clean your garments and linens. You'll see that many uniformed professionals trust them to care for their items, which is a testament to their work. I love how their computer system greets me when I drop clothes off and pick them up, and I love how the owners compliment my taste in clothing. If you're looking for a great cleaner, seek no further. I brought in my fairly new winter coat that needed a new zipper and was greeted by a very friendly and polite gentleman. I wanted to put in a more substantial zipper than what you get with a coat these days and he brought out a rugged metal not plastic zipper and could not believe the great price which I can tell you was very reasonable as compared to tailors I have used in the past.. When I picked my coat up I was more then pleased with not only the zipper but the expertise of how it was installed. Once again they are very polite and friendly and I could not be more happy! They are awesome cleaned and preserved my wedding dress! I didn't take it to get cleaned until months had passed so the dirt was pretty set in! they were able to clean it and get it back in new prestige condition and sealed and preserved!!!! They even called me to come and review the cleaning before pressing to make sure I was happy! Also on my first visit I brought a bridesmaids dress that I thought needed to be altered since it fit very blah. The owner pulled the dress and readjusted it's strings to be tighter and wah-la! Said it didn't need to be altered and showed me how to tighten without any changes! I mean talk about great service he could have altered it and made a sale but instead he showed me how to adjust it without making any changes! Will be back for any dry cleaning or alterations! Mart Cleaners ruined a new pair of pants I had brought in for alteration. I picked them up, paid for the alterations, brought them home, and then found a weird bluish stain on them that absolutely had not been there before. It was very obvious on the light-colored pants. The cleaner identified it as ink that had been improperly cleaned. I said, you weren't supposed to clean these pants, only alter them. They denied all responsibility and insinuated that I had gotten the stain on the pants and then tried to clean them myself. Needless to say, this was NOT the case. They offered to clean them for free, but said it probably wouldn't help. They were right, it didn't help. The pants are ruined and I'm out the money I paid for them and for the alteration. This is my only recourse -- to try and warn other prospective customers away from them. read more
