I provided them a dress shirt, brand new out of the pristine packaging from Nordstrom. No stains. I just needed the creases out. I went to pick it up, and unfortunately still full of creases. No problem, it happens. I ask them to redo it as it can't be worn like that. I go to pick it up again, and now it's covered in stains. These stains were not there when I handed it to them, or when they gave it back to me the first time. No idea where they came from, but I noticed it right away - dark brown and throughout the entirety of the shirt. I pointed it out, and they took it back while I waited. They reluctantly fixed it. Regardless, I'm not sure why I gave them a clean shirt to be pressed and then it came back with stains. The woman then told me to find another dry cleaner if I wasn't happy and that it wasn't going to be perfect (unprompted as I was leaving). Im not expecting perfect, but I do expect to be handed a shirt without stains, especially when it was given to them without. I found this to be hurtful and rude. As a loyal customer, I would have continued coming back and assumed it as a one off. The fact they were so dismissive and not taking ownership was incredibly disappointing.

They immediately offered to meet me at the store at 8 pm to give me the dress. My daughter and I are eternally grateful to them. I've been going to Starlight for a dozen years. Paul reassured me that I would get them back, that I need to send the puffer jacket back. I sent the jacket, but then they charged me for the jacket again! After that it was like pulling teeth trying to get Paul to call me back to tell me what's going on with my coats. I had to call every week when I remembered, to ask about my coat's whereabout along with the accessories. Even several months later, he never refunded me for the wrongful charge, and did not return my belt with the coat. He is irresponsible, uncommunicative and I do not recommend him or his business.

I visited them and expected them to make me wait a while or even days to get the bag fixed. However, the staff was super friendly and kind, taking my bag and fixing it in minutes! They only charged a few bucks and I was on my way in under 10 minutes. The shop itself is not huge, but it has rooms for you to try your clothes on and there were tons of suits and clothes hanging around waiting for pick up, so clearly this business is well regarded. This makes me feel very good about coming back for my future tailoring needs.
