RINA RUDE RUDE ! . I dropped off my mattress Topper today, that I asked more than once if they were able to clean it or not, or i could take my services elsewhere, But Mary insisted that they could at 10:32 am Mary called me and stated that the dryer wrinkled my Topper I wasn't far from the location so I came to see what she was talking about (the pictures are below) So after looking at my destroyed topper, I asked her where do we go from here and she blatantly looked at me and said okay. I asked her to speak to a manager and she said okay walked away and spoke to someone on the phone...then came back and said I told the manager. I asked Mary will the manager be in today she said later on so I said okay I will be back after coming back at 1130am still no manager I asked mary can she call the manager and let them know that I would like to speak to them about this matter Mary stated the manager DO NOT WANNA SPEAK TO ME. I stated this is crazy because we have a matter here that needs to be handled . After finally coming back at 1:05Pm demanding to speak to a manager another employee then called Rina and I explained to her how unprofessional that was while still trying to figure out a solution after threatening her with legal action she paid me half of the price I paid for the Topper. And then had the gall To tell me to not service her establishment after destroying my Belongings. I decided to try this place for the first time. They came and picked up my clothes and that went well. I went with the option for my clothes to be delivered back to me btwn the hours of 7-9pm they attempted to deliver them at 5:30 pm but I wasn't home hence why I picked the 7-9pm. I spoke with a lady there and she assured me they would come back between 7-9pm the same day. That's the last I heard from them. I never received my clothes and every time I call they seem to not answer. I am beyond livid at this point I had to come back and change my review, after speaking with someone that day the issue was rectified promptly. My clothes came back very clean and smelling wonderful. This was my first time using them the pick up and delivery guy was very nice. I am new to Jersey and I figured I'd spend the same amount doing the laundry myself and getting it sent off so I tried this company based on Yelp reviews. Everything was speedy my only issue is my clothes don't smell like laundry. There's no soap smell no dryer sheets packed with the laundry to give it that fresh laundry smell. I used this service for the first time this week and couldn't have been happier with the results. Everything went perfectly, from pick up to delivery of my nice clean laundry. I especially like the text notifications of drivers en route for both; it makes the whole experience extra convenient. I sent mostly linens and towels in my order, and wouldn't expect to use this type of service for delicates and fine laundry items. Most of the negative reviews I read were about such issues. I have to say this is the first time I've used washclub. I was very impressed when I receive my clothes back. They were professionally cleaned and folded. I was very skeptical and using a service like this. But I was ill and could not go to the laundromat. I will definitely use washclub again for my next order. Even though I will not be ill I will be using them from now on. It was such a convenience. Just schedule a pick-up and drop-off. Clothes were picked up and brought back within 24 hours. I've been using laundry services for years. I just moved back to NJ and given the hours I work I searched for a laundry service that picks up and delivers. WashClub seemed great at first but then several items I gave them came back shrunk and/or with the fabric irreversibly damaged. Fur turned to wool. Once soft sweaters now look like they've been hand woven and aged. Not only that, but they did not return several clothing items, including the most obvious, the silk bag I used to pack the items for pick up. The owner basically denies this because they've "been in business for 20 years". Not only did she contest all of this, she sent someone to come see the items. The driver did not speak English, which is fine, but he took only 3 of the several items, one of which someone called and asked about referring to it as a "child's shirt" because of the size that it was shrunk to. After all of this, no one calls back, a new driver comes and drops off 2 of the 3 items. More than 24 hours later I finally get another call from the owner letting me know that she holds herself accountable and will try to replace ONE of the sweaters but was sure to tell me that I put it in the wrong bag (delicates vs regular wash) but she'll do me this "courtesy" anyway. To be completely transparent, I gave an order that cost me over $200 ... my clothing in total was well over a $1,500 given the prices of my professional clothing. This is completely unacceptable. First off, I separated as I have since I started utilizing wash and fold services and secondly, it's their job to read the tag and wash as appropriate. The owner may have a seemingly customer friendly tone to her voice but she is completely clueless on how to run a business, how to wash clothes without damaging or losing items and for sure on how to mitigate/resolve issues. Everyone makes mistakes. But to be in business for 20 years and be completely lost on how to fix a mistake is ridiculous. I absolutely recommend throwing out and replacing your clothing before looking to WashClub to handle washing even one article of clothing. read more

Great service! I started using them a month ago and have no complaints. They offer convenient pick-up and delivery times that work with my schedule and will text me when the driver is near. The clothes come out clean and smelling great and I love that they're returned folded in a plastic bag so if I'm too tired or busy to put them away I can wait a day or two and they won't be jumbled up in my laundry basket. Some may think they're a little expensive but to me the convenience of door to door service and not having to constantly purchase detergent and dryer sheets is worth every penny. I only wish I knew about them when I sprained my ankle and had trouble getting around for a few months. read more

After I had an issue one time with delivery a while back, I decided to try Wash Club again after the owner (who is an extremely sweet woman) contacted me to rectify the issue. I just got my laundry back tonight and I have to say I am extremely pleased! Even though it's a tad more expensive than doing it myself, I don't have to worry about taking the hours out of my day to do it in a laundry mat. They pick up and drop off at your doorstep at the time you schedule. My clothes smell fantastic! I am extremely please and will now be a regular customer! I have been looking forever for a laundry service that can pick up and deliver to my home in West Orange. I live in an old apartment complex where laundry is a huge hassle, especially in the winter. Don't send delicates. They are too high volume to handle them properly, that is managements response in short. No shaped bras, sweaters, lay flat to dry items, chiffon, nylon, wash in a bag delicates, in my opinion. They did fine on laundered shirts, basic wash and fold and low temp dry. You're going to lose a lot of socks. They do a decent job with pick up, delivery, most of the time folding. I'm saddened to be looking for a new service. *Update-not just my opinion. I was trying to find out how to send those so they would get handled properly. They've been doing it that way for 18 years, don't like it don't send it was the result of that conversation. Down to basic wash and low temp dry only. My next order completely ignored the delivery window twice, didn't reschedule, showed up while I wasn't here with no notice at all and charged me a fee for missing it. I've never even heard of the fee before and it was refunded later the same day after much stress about the situation. I missed it because I was off washing things I can't send there. I believe it would be in my best interest to do it all myself from now on. Take from that what you will. read more

Downloaded ap on phone and easily input cc information and order...within minutes and a pickup time...left my things outside to be picked up. The texting alerts notified me of the process of pickup, when it was washed and folded, then even delivered. Within 24 hours, I was unpacking my beautifully folded linens and putting things away. The only issue that I had was that the pillows were still a touch damp. Other than that, the clothes were clean and folded amazing. It was great. Although I spent over 100 dollars, I couldn't have spent less myself or elsewhere. I'd definitely use again! read more

I have used this service intermittently for the past two years. Unfortunately, I had an experience where not only did the wash club blow through its window pick up time by 4 hours, but the individual working at their Roselle office exhibited very poor customer service. I was told that no pick up time window could be provided and he indicated that someone would be there "soon", which he said meant potentially a number of more hours. It was the complete nonchalance of the young man who took my call, including lack of empathy or understanding that they neglected to meet their communicated time or put any effort into estimating a new time that helped ensure I would never use this service again. I was a happy customer until they no longer served my area, and I didn't know that that was the case. I attempted to schedule an order on their website, but the box to open the calendar to schedule a pickup wouldn't open, so I had to call instead. The person I spoke with scheduled a pickup for that evening and was pushing for that. And I said that yes, that would work, but no one showed up. I left two voice messages and an email with customer service, and no one got back to me. I finally got a hold of a person in customer service later the next day who found that where I live is no longer part of their coverage area. Then why was an order scheduled for me? The lady apologized about the situation, but that's all she could do. So I'd advise against using this service. If they don't serve where you live, they need to say that on their site, or at least have a map of the areas they cover. The situation could be worse, as I'm not out any money. Great Concept but Horrible Execution. I just moved to NJ and lacked a car so was looking for a convenient way to get my dry cleaning done. I scheduled a pick up for Friday with a delivery for Monday morning. Mind you - I had an engagement on Monday and needed my suit dry cleaned beforehand and since their website showed an available time slot to deliver prior to my social event I decided to proceed with the order. So the guy picks up my dry cleaning on Friday and Monday rolls around and he comes back expecting to pick up more dry cleaning. However, we were expecting our clothes to be delivered by now - as was indicated on the order receipt for MONDAY MORNING DELIVERY. We were then promised he would come back that day with our dry cleaning delivered which never transpired. I then called their contact # and a woman started saying we should never expect drycleaning done with the turn around I was expecting. (Great way to blame a customer for your company's ineptitude). So why include available delivery time slots if you can't meet your own schedules??? If I had known you couldn't deliver by your specified time frames I would have never used your "Wash Club" to begin with. No Apologies from them whatsoever. Then she started saying there was a glitch in their system and informed she would call me back that day - which never happened. Still waiting to receive my drycleaning after the promised delivery time and will never use this service again as I was planning to frequently utilize at least 3x a month for my work clothes. I'll take my money to a honest dry cleaners whom can follow through with commitments and not lie repeatedly. read more

Okay so I love WashClub laundry. I used to use a more local pick up and delivery service but they never gave accurate times for pickup and drop off and it was very inconvenient. I appreciate having a window and being able to place orders on the website. I've had an issue one time, my delivery was supposed to be delivered by 9pm and usually you'll get a text message 20 minutes before that the driver is on the way. It was about 8:45 I was ready for bed and had received no text messages so I called customer service and got an automated message saying that it was after hours but the website said that you could call until 9pm. That was incredibly frustrating, I went to sleep and was woken up at 9:30 to my delivery calling me saying he was outside. That was frustrating but usually they are very accommodating and they truly do a great job, so one bad experience won't keep me away. read more

The drivers are polite, AND my clothes came back so fresh and clean! Clothes was folded so neat and beautiful! Thank you for making my life easier! Because I'm a full time mom and I work two jobs. This is a great service! I had never used a laundry service before, and was skeptical about its usefulness and cleanliness. Washclub alleviated ALL of my concerns about both, and I would consider myself an ongoing customer from here on. Delivery and pickup were absolutely on schedule, and I received prompt, useful check-ins at each part of the process--letting me know pickup was imminent, delivery was on the way, asking if I had any questions, etc... Also, being a first-time user, I did have a lot of questions and called customer service more than once; each time was courteous and helpful, and Jackie, who followed up with me after my laundered clothes had been delivered back to me, was so friendly and definitely confirmed what I had already considered to be a good experience. And, of most importance, my clothes were CLEAN, well-handled; I had no complaints. There were 2 items that had been shrunken a bit, but that hadn't been of concern to me; I am mentioning it though because that is an important point for people reading this review to know, and it's why I didn't give 5 stars. It's not going to keep me from using them again. Also to note, I didn't send anything overly delicate or super involved to clean, but I did give special instructions to pretreat as it was kids clothing, and as I have said, was very pleased with how they were returned. read more
