I've NEVER been to a dry cleaner that doesn't itemize your receipt with the prices included. Nor do buy something without knowing the cost???? Second of all, I brought in a brand new top that I paid $150.00 for and instead of marking the ticket 5 items, they marked it 4 items and never gave me the top back. Of course when I went there to discuss with them, Jane was RUDE and of course uncooperative . They stole my top and refuse to make good on the reimbursement. They are the only dry cleaner I used since being new to Summit, NJ. Certainly I will never USE THEM AGAIN. They could easily have solved this problem by putting in a claim on their insurance but they are arrogant and nasty she wouldn't even listen to me. CHECK YOUR TICKETS BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE.

Sandy and her team at this family run business are the best! I had my wedding gown cleaned and…read morealtered here. Sandy was super patient with me. I first came in with one unstructured Jenny Yoo silk organza gown then changed to a structured very well made Pronovias gown. I'm not skinny and it turns out towards the end like a month before my wedding, I find out I'm pregnant! So the bust had to be let out... but the final result was beautiful and I am so happy. Sandy also added trim to my Vera Wang veil. Breathtaking! Thank you so much Sandy! It was a pleasure working with you. You always made time for me and made the process as stress free as possible. If you are looking for a professional to clean and alter your wedding gown, Sandy is it! She is also a fashion designer from FIT. You can't alter a wedding gown just anywhere, you have to trust a true professional.

Why is no one ever at the register to greet customers? In 47 years of getting my clothing cleaned,…read moreI have never seen a more empty store front. Is there a single business out there that leaves their registers completely unmanned? The owner seems inattentive, unfocused, and bothered by customers being there. She seems to be focused on chatting away with the people behind the store front. Everyone who is at the registers tries to get you to leave quickly, but they take forever to even come to the front, if they even realize you are there at all. There are obviously more people in the back, because when there is a line, more people appear. Why do they wait for the store to be packed full to appear? Why are there two or three of us waiting for one person at the register, when there are clearly more people in the back, just chatting away? Why is it that not a single person employed at this store (with one exception) seems to know where anything is? Every time, whether it is my order or someone next to me, they have to check the camera for something. Is nobody keeping track of anything? The only good person there is the older tall gentleman with graying hair that shows up occasionally to the register. He seems to know where everything is and will always smile. Hopefully he is the owner's husband, because he seems to be the only one that can do anything.

As a newly anointed Elite Yelper, I can tell you Lost Sock is incredible…read more So often and so detailed have been my many raves & accolades over the years, I hesitate to add another! Except they were all on Facebook... Great service and value and flawless professionalism are the Lost Sock trademarks. And this Saturday I caught the Boss Lady herself. Not that the following has anything to do with laundry, but it has everything to do with the flair, originality and style of Lost Sock: Boss Lady L. was sporting incredible feathered shocks of hair dyed pink, fascia and peach! I said nothing so as not to seem inappropriate in these days of innocent compliments striking the wrong chord but between you and me! I loved it! Actually I began telling her about "dramma gassi, Nanya Basson". As I regaled her with the tale of my Danish aunt's misfortune of being stranded in Java after her Danish operation company broke down and her having to serve as a servant at a wealthy family's estate. That phrase? "Thank you Big Lady" in Javanese! I should have just told her how cool her hair was. I also years ago wrote a children's story in the spirit of Hans Christian Andersen which I promptly took down to avoid being to bizarre. So here's what you need to know. LS had the guts to work through the pandemic. They routinely support businesses around them including when a nearby eatery lost an employee far too young. Never lost a sock or piece of my clothing.
