We went today and their pizza was yummy as always. I got two slices of plain and it was hot, fresh and delicious. He got a sausage and meatball sub and it was stuffed with meats!! Very tasty. What wasn't tasty was the young lady that takes your order at the front of the store. As many times as I've been here whether it was take out or eat in she NEVER SMILES AND IS NEVER VERY FRIENDLY! I'm not sure why she is like this. This is not the job for her for sure. I'm guessing she might be related to the owners. It seems a majority of reviews bash the service and compare the food to years past. As a newcomer who tried the pizza for the first time I would give it a solid 6.3 / 10. Your average hometown pizza spot. I do like all the options they have and they have some creative options. We got the Honolulu large ($21.70) and the chicken pesto large ($21.70). Of the two I preferred the Honolulu which had ham, bacon, and big globs of ricotta which was delicious. The pesto was average and the chicken was a little dry so I wasn't a huge fan. The crust was on the softer / doughy side but I prefer pizza crust like that so I enjoyed it. If you want a thin crust pie this is not the place for you. We ordered online and got it delivered so I cannot comment on the ambiance. Overall I enjoyed the pies and would come back again. read more

This rating is not about the food. This rating is for the confusion with online ordering. I was ordering and realized only at the end that it was through GrubHub. Needless to say, the order was missing a dinner. Famous won't help and GrubHub's only remedy is a refund. So you pay fees and a tip based on the price of the order. You get a refund for the missing item and no offer to replace the food. Called Famous and they refuse to help either. CRAPPY SERVICE AND A CRAPPY BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP between Marshfield Famous and GrubHub. Never again for either vendor. I hope that was worth the cost of a sandwich. read more

So help me out here please for those who frequent Famous Pizza. I picked up my online order, brought it home and it was missing my 2 desserts. When I called to let them know, I was informed it was my responsibility to pick the desserts out of the dessert case. Now I waited 15 minutes for my order to be ready and I didn't see any sign that said this anywhere. I was not informed by the employee who handed me my food that I had to turn around and get my own dessert out of the case. I was told it was my fault even though she saw me walk out the door without taking anything out of the desert case, it was obvious I was unaware of this policy. Is this a regular thing there? Been ordering from Famous for a long time, sometimes good, sometimes okay, sometimes bad. There are things they make that I love, like their salads. But there has been a steady decline of service. In the last few months, my delivery order has often been wrong, either missing items or not at all what I ordered. Delivery takes much longer than estimated which I'd be willing to deal with but the last two times the driver tried to tell me I hadn't paid yet. I'm all done with that nonsense. read more

I have tried this place out a couple of times and each time has been mediocre at best. The staff isn't very nice or helpful, it's almost as if you are burdening them with your order. The pizza is extremely greasy and you have to use a handful of napkins to soak it all up. Then there is the chance the pizza is sometimes undercooked and paired with extreme grease is almost inedible. It's also normally dirty. I don't believe they wipe the tables a lot, and when you do get one that is wiped off its sticky. It's like they don't use soapy water. read more

After staying away for about 9 months do to a bad experience, I decided to give it another try. What a huge mistake! I asked the counter person what specific vegetables were in a salad that the menu said had "garden vegetables" die to an allergy. His response was "I don't know what's in it." I asked if he could ask someone, he said "I don't know who to ask." I ordered a different salad with steak tips to go with an extra dressing. it cane out for in house, when I asked for it to go the woman on the grill in back got mad and started slamming things. when I got it I asked for the extra dressing. the girl asked if I paid for it. i said I don't know I asked for it & asked her if the 1st clerk charged me. She said "I can't see that. So can you just pay for it?" I declined and asked he to cancel the order and refund my card. it was like I asked her to cure a disease. he mind was blown. I took the food and left. Unsurprisingly, it sucked. The mixed greens were old and wilted and disgusting. The steak tips were tender, but flavorless. There will be no 3rd chance. read more

Some less than fresh lettuce, a couple of olives, 3 pieces of cucumber, you get the picture. It did have a good amount of feta. The steak and cheese sub was about the same quality as the salad. We've used them often over the last few years. We ordered food for pre delivery for a party. They showed up and an item was missing. No big deal. I mention it to the driver and he told me he'd call and get it out asap with another driver. 15 min later I called just for an update and was treated like I was bothering them. I reiterated I just wanted to know where my food was. They told me it'd be there in 10-15 min. 35 min later I called to ask where this was, since this is for kids and they are all complaining and I was greeted by Charles. He was incredibly rude. When I asked to speak to a manager her said he was the manager. I asked just to cancel the food item at this rate and just me my money back, he said he couldn't since the food was already made. This went back and forth and asked if there was anyone else I could speak with. Apparently Charles Sr.(his father) wouldn't talk because "his son told me everything he would say to me and then more". 1.5 hours after my food was supposed to show up my food finally showed up nice and cold. Never will I let Marshfield famous Pizza and Charles spoil a party of mine again. Use anyone else. read more

We had 24 cheerleaders, parents and coaches with us and Famous made certain that every aspect of our party was taken care of. They wear no gloves there. And the cashiers (untrained children) touch food after touching money. The untrained children there with no customer/people skills put me on hold for over 5 minutes to fix a stapler "because I really need it!" She said. I had to hang up because no one was getting to me.
