As I walked through the store I saw all kinds of sparkly accessories, dresses, shoes, purses and cute outfits. All displays were put together perfectly by colour and many included shoe combinations to go with the outfit. As I wandered about and fell in love with a pair of shoes the sales lady appeared. She explained that their speciality is putting outfits together for people or accessorizing and outfit that someone brings into the store. (she must have noticed the confused look on my face) Perfect!!! I am always in a rush and I am not so good at putting things together so, I picked up the shoes and then......... I asked what would go with the shoes. Yes, I know it was kinda like shopping backwards.... picking shoes first then the outfit. Not bad for someone who was just browsing. Next thing I knew, I ended up purchasing a lovely summer dress and a hand bag to go with the dress and some bling bling bracelets. That's the best way I can describe her style and designs. She tries to make sure her clothing appeals to a younger crowd (while also having stylish but conservative attire for older age groups). Her designs are incredibly stylish, inventive, and reflects current trends. Colourful, but cut well, and stylish. The Showroom: Mani Jassal herself is incredibly sweet, helpful, and responsive. Visiting her showroom is by appointment only, so you have to reach out by email to set something up. Once you're there (with Drake and upbeat hip hop humming in the background), someone is there to assist you with finding what you're looking for. The showroom is clean, presented well, and reflects a truly modern and trendy style without straying too far from the foundations of Indian dress. Pricing: We actually found pricing to be very reasonable, compared to other more traditional shops we visited in Mississauga/Brampton. Overall, we were really glad we found Mani. But if you go to their store 30 mins before closing they will not allow to come inside, citing weird reasons like they have to sanitize the store so they cannot allow customers as early as 30 mins before closing time. But my question us why don't you mention it in the timings printed on the front door of your store?? How are customers supposed to know about your irregular store hours! I have been harassed by these people twice, once on a weekday and yesterday which was a weekend. They argued with me for good 20 minutes as to why they cant let me in for return, but they wont take my returns which is probably not more than a 5 min job! The store supervisor Yasmin went on to say that "their machines stop working after 6pm".. thats the funniest lie I have heard! I am very disappointed with such low level of customer service from these guys. I literally begged them to help me today, as the nearest store is atleast 20km from my home.
