This is not my favorite Marshalls. The parkinglot was crazy, I circled around twice before I found a spot. I feel like their location closer to my home is more organized than this one, but I still found what I was looking for and the price was right. Would come here only when convenient. read more

Very big area but very messy, very long line. The price is very good and extremely fair. The workers were helpful, and quickly served me. They have tons of variety of stuff throughout their store. They have everything from dog toys to kids clothing. read more

Marshalls - Department Stores Near Me - Stamford, Connecticut

The store is usually a disaster & you have to be in a certain mood to shop here.. when the mood strikes, I always find great stuff. Nice trinkets and stuff that no one "needs", but make great, unique gifts. I got like 7 sweaters for less than $100. The parking lot is atrocious, so just be warned about that. It's also usually hot in the store. read more

Do you want to visit the worst Marshals possible....then head on over to this place. Why this location is open is beyond me. When I can walk into a store and say there is nothing I would buy in this store at any price its bad. I have been in better K-Marts. Usually you walk into the TJMaxx and Marshalls stores and you can hardly move because of the racks of clothes tight up against each other. Not here. This place has more room between the racks than some NYC apartments. If your looking for something, anything....go to any other location than this one. The lack of items is very surprising considering the demographic, fancy schmancy, look at my purse...no look at my shoes and new nose job and all the immediately earned money of the Stamfordites. Possibly they live here, but shop in the more affluent Greenwich and Westport. Maybe there are just not enough of us regular folks around to really make a difference in the merchandise that this store receives. See you at a better location Marshals. My experience with Marshall was not to good , no clothes for me , but in January 2019 I found a Calvin Klein's shirts and Michael kors slim fit a 20 and 21 bucks , normal price 50 and 60 , also jackets and pants Cavanni also slim fit for $120 , normal price $250 , my fiancée found to many things , we are slim fit M and S . I love this store! Pace yourself, people! The line is long but constantly moving. I had staff help me find multiple golfers. All 9 registers were open and they whizzed through 30 people in 20 minutes! Allow yourself time for the line. Be kind. read more

Ok, when I go to a Marshall's I know it is going to be a little less organized and the staff is not going to be very attentive. I just have that expectation. This location is actually very stocked...and I've found many good deals. When I am town on business (often) I like to hunt for bargains or replace things I forgot. Parking is tough. I am a big fan of discount department stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Ross, etc. This specific Marshall's is always hit or miss.... Cons: -The staff are completely unhelpful. -The fitting room person never greets me or acknowledges me when I am waiting to try stuff on. I literally have had to ask if I can try stuff on, when she is standing right there waiting around. -The shoe section- COMPLETE MESS -Messy store overall -long lines, not many cashiers -Parking in the shopping center can be difficult. Pros: -Lots of brand names stuff (Coach, Seven for All Mankind, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Juicy, etc) -The home department always seems to be full and organized -lots of gift ideas -men's section seems to have a lot Obviously if you are looking for a deal, moving into a place, or just need some basics than I would check it out, otherwise it is kind of a headache... read more

This is a very large store with plenty of room to walk around. The parking is free. It is very organized.

Meh, not super impressed by this location. Given that this is a city, and not suburban, store I wasn't expecting a huge selection of merchandise, but there was very little on the shelves that wasn't complete garbage (what little that was there and not strewn all over the floor, I should say). Do not step foot in this store unless you're prepared to wait in line, without fail , for 10 minutes every single time. The manager is brain dead, doesn't speak English, and has , again, without fail, every single time, two registers open, when there is a line of 20 people. I try and give this store another chance, every. Single. Time, but after 2 years of no change, I will drive to port Chester instead. Slow checkout, disorganized and poorly displayed merchandise. Just left this Marshalls after waiting in a (no exaggeration) 10-minute non-moving line that was almost to the entry door. I agree with prior comments that the staff is poorly trained. By the grace of God an employee is called to the front to, presumably, assist with checkout. Nope. She was just asked, "where a nightgown was that a customer on the phone returned and wanted back". Hm. Maybe... I don't know, take the customers number down and assist the inquiry when the line dies down? I had around $100 worth of workout gear that I intended to purchase, but had to leave due to the ridiculous checkout time. I had a terrible experience with a piticular associate, his name was shallab he is the indivdual that has gray hair, always wears a button down shirt and glasses. I came in the hopes good one day looking for a blazer with my friend , once we were ready to pay I got him and my friend got a really nice lady sooooo my friend got his blazer with a hanger and a bag and he asked the associate politely and I asked him , he gave me a dirty look and ignored me sooo then he took the blazer and put it in a bag and crumpled it for no reason then I asked him again for a hanger and he ignored me again. After I gave him a piece of my mind , I then asked the lady for a hanger and she didn't have no problem . I have no issue with the store and has some really cool associates , dispite it could be a little neater, but I highly recommend staying away from shalab read more

I have been shopping at Marshalls for years and never experienced any issues except for long lines. I now work in NYC and lately don't have time to try things on. So, I purchase things and usually spend a few hundred dollars with the intention of returning the ones that don't fit. When I got to return some of the items, one of the managers was checking each item assuming that I didn't purchase them. I was singled out and he raised his voice at me and was extremely rude when I asked why it's taking so long. I like some of the skin care products they carry, so I go there often because they are hard to find. As a regular customer, I have every right to return things as often as I like. I will file a formal complaint with the headquarters. read more

Staff is super disappointing. One of the last time I was there, they were actually lying about the time- announcing that is was 10 minutes later than it actually was to get people on line- the tactic is insulting and ridiculous considering that there is a huge clock at the front of the store for anyone to see. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but they announced the time again incorrectly 5 minutes later. I once got reprimanded 30 minutes before closing for bringing "too many clothes to try on" to the dressing room. What??? As I was checking out one night 5 minutes before closing, the woman checking me out didn't say hello to me, didn't make eye contact with me and started yelling to someone else to stand by the door and lock it or not let anyone in to her manager. It's just a really yucky atmosphere there. They seem to have a lot of issues the last hour they are open. I can't speak for others but I am very respectfully out of the store before 9:30 and feel like I am a criminal for being in there anytime after 9:00. I give 2 stars also because the selection is just so-so. There is one manager there who is super nice and helpful. I've always had great experiences with her. I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out- I've gotten help from her on the weekend afternoons. read more
