I'm generally a fan of Marshall's in general because of the inexpensive brand names so .. I had to stop in! This is one of the neater / more organized Marshall's I've been to. Plenty of Chargers memorabilia and outfits to wear. Only thing was that nothing caught my eye, and if it did, it was a size too large. Darn youuuu!.. one of the few times I've ever walked out of a Marshall's without something in hand. Have to admit though, very impressed with the organization. Good job! read more

i love coming to marshall's...especially when i don't want to spend a ton of money. Now that i have to get rid of literally all my clothes and buy an entirely new wardrobe...i am focusing on discount clothing.. marshall's is at the top of my list...not only is it super convenient ...but i'm getting new, quality clothing for good prices. i l love going to second hand/consignment shops too...but then the selection is less and well...the stuff is used for sometimes more than marshalls! i have enough clothing to get me through the next few weeks...but coming december...i am hoping to swimming in everything currently own! then on to Marshall's for a little bit of everything read more

This last year I have become a huge Marshall's shopper especially looking for home stuff (quick note: Home Goods & Marshall's often carry the same items and it will always be cheaper at Marshall's). This location is one of the biggest in SD & always organized and easy to shop. The items here are a little higher end because it is located in Solana Beach :) read more

I work around the corner, so I visit this location OFTEN. Of all the Marshalls I've been to, I'd say this is the cleanest, most organized and friendliest (I often get greeted when I walk in, which I don't remember from many other locations). Selection is hit or miss, but I think that's expected. I feel like the "personal beauty" section in the front keeps growing, there's always makeup and hair supplies etc. Shoe section is pretty decent. Women's/"Junior" section has a pretty decent selection too. Come looking for a new sweater, leave with a new jacket and unicorn band aids you grabbed in the line on the way out. read more

I find way too many things here for hubby's liking. He is lucky because I also find him cool shirts, and jeans, even shoes! My little girl always comes home with a pair of shoes and/or a cool shirt or jeans from here. My boy doesn't have the largest selection, but the CK underwear from here is darn cheap. Of course, i save me for last as usual, but when I find something, I know i've scored. I find kitchen stuff ALL the time (BBQ stuff, plates, cups, knick knacks.) I find shoes of course. I always seem to buy a quarterly purse that is very inexpensive from here. I occasionally even find some furniture or piece of decor. The only drawback of this place is the CRAZY long lines. I have had a cart full of stuff that I put away after just glancing at the lines..they definitely need a full house of cashiers EVERY day to keep it pleasurable. Love Marshalls... read more

This Marshalls had a wide selection of items. Many designer brands including a great find Valentino shoes. Yes, I could not believe it !! Other designer brands at Marshall price. I think this is the best in North County. read more

Amazing customer service! I went there and got a mismatched bathing suit. At first they didn't know if they could sell me just the individual pieces without being in a set. Instead of making me wait, they just sold me the individual piece and marked it half off!! Great service, highly recommend!! read more

Apparently Solana Beach has a law to charge for bags? Huh. Good to know when I'm at the check out line. Grocery stores have signs in their parking lots to remind shoppers to bring in their own bags. Just remember Marshall's, copying is a form of flattery. Also, saw the dressing room attendant swifter the floor - just one room though. Bummed I didn't go in that one clean room, my feet wouldn't have gotten so dirty. Yuck. read more

This Marshalls is definitely one of the best in San Diego county in general! This one is very organized. No messes around. Parking is plentiful, and the staff are helpful. Everything is pretty easy to find, and there are always tons of treasures to find at Marshalls. I love the home goods and beauty sections the most. I always leave with more than I walk in needing. read more

The Solana Beach Marshalls never disappoints...its the best Marshalls around. ( ask anyone, I know girls from Chula who drive for it ) I've snagged many a Michael Kors treasure here! Great shoe selection, pretty adorable housewares, bags bags bags! I bought a ton of gifts and stocking stuffers here over Christmas last year. The bathing suit selection is out and growing for the summer, and they always have a killer amount of cover ups and sun dresses to choose from. They keep the place fairly organized and the stock seems to rotate quite a bit....okay, okay... I go every week...so I can ASSURE you the stock rotates well. Beware of the parking lot, as a Solana resident I say this with love, no one watches where they are going in this lot. I beg of you, look both ways. read more

This Marshall's has the best selection in North County!! 'Nuff said. -Bought my luggage here. 3 years, and still going strong! -Have yet to be disappointed with the selection at this location. -Most recently found 3 pairs of nice shorts (AKA, not shorts w/ no inseam) for around $45 total, plus a Ralph Lauren button down shirts - reg. $90 for $35 - Heck Yes!! Drawback - This place gets busy and if you don't have the additional 15 minutes to stand in line, you'll want to play the game of destiny that I play - If you run out of time standing in line, you just leave everything you'll holding and come back another day. If you can squeeze that extra few minutes out of that schedule of yours, you get to go home with some unnecessary, but much wanted, finds for your wardrobe! I keep coming back here because I'm a cheap still like to dress like a millionaire :) read more

This store used to be amazing. I'm not sure what happened to it but in the last six months to a year it has totally changed and it has a lot less items and a lot lower quality. Sad because this used to be my favorite Marshall's down here. read more

Gotta love Solana Beach. If you love Marshalls, this is definitely one you don't want to miss. With name brands from Coach and Michael Kors to Romeo & Juliet or Free People, you're sure to find a deal! They've even prepped the fitting rooms to help even the most indecisive shopper organize clothing articles by "definitely", "possibly", and "tomorrow". Take a look at my pics. So cute. I agree that you are sure to find something each time you visit, that is, unless you're that person who doesn't do last season's Sam Edelman shoes or Juicy Couture track suit. In that case, more for us folks that do! Happy bargain shopping! read more

My sister, mom, and I set out in search of some business clothes for my sisters new job. My sister's boss had recommended that we check out the Marshall's in Solana Beach. I was really not in the mood to drive that far, but I got promised some wine and chocolate if I went ;) And I'm so glad I did!! This place had a great selection of name brand clothes! Not to mention, they are at a discounted price! Needless to say...money was spent in slight excess ;) read more

Best Marshall's ever! Came in only to browse, came out spending $270! Mostly on clothes. Someone ban me from shopping??! I need help! read more

I have to shout out the staff at this Marshalls. I bought tops here a couple weeks ago. When I got home, I could not find the navy blue tank I bought anywhere. I search my car, my bag, my purse, my closet, everywhere! I went back to the store and explained that I could not find it and thought I might have left it on the counter. I had the receipt and said I'd be willing to pay for it again (it was like a $5 tank) and they let me have it without having to re-buy. Thank you Solana Beach Marshalls Staff!! You guys rock!! Side note: this store also has a great selection of Joie and Kate Spade clothing, if you like those brands. read more

It was sorry as far as junior clothes and shoes! Few dresses few choices Go to Carmel mountain rd. instead! read more

This is the best Marshalls in San Diego. I remember the days that my family and I would make the drive from Tijuana. It is honestly worth it. You may be asking yourself "what makes this Marshalls different? Aren't there more Marshall locations?" Yeah, there are a lot of Marshalls locations in San Diego but you can't find a lot of the items that you can find at this location. If you want to find some great designer items and shoes then this is the place to come! Not only do they have great designer clothes and shoes but their beauty section is also the best in San Diego. I've been able to find so many items from Korres, Shiseido, and Elizabeth Arden that normally retail for a lot more at Sephora or department stores. This location underwent a little remodeling so now it is looking a lot nicer and cleaner. I really loved how it looks now. Everything is organized very well in their own little areas. I usually stick around in the front since I'm a beauty junkie but the few times that I've roamed around the store I've been impressed with their selection of items. This location is honestly worth the drive. The only thing I don't like is the parking lot since it tends to be sort of packed during the day. It's best to go in the evenings once a lot of the places in the shopping center have closed. Also you might want to bring your own shopping bags since this location does not bag your stuff. They charge you for paper bags, it's a Solana Beach thang apparently. read more

This Marshall's often has a good selection of designer clothes. Sometimes they have designer shoes and purses. I got a great deal on a pair of Michael Khors flats! They recently remodeled and the dressing rooms are an improvement. They have a very limited selection of higher-end belts, sunglasses, and wallets. read more

Amazing! I went in just by chance, and have been addicted ever since. You know it's good when you see several fancy cars in the parking lot, and women from "the crosby" shopping here. I really think I've discovered the dirty little secret of the Rancho Santa Fe housewives. This place is clean, well organized (doesn't look like a bomb went off, like most other Marshalls/Ross). The lines are crazy, but their cattle stall checkout counter system makes it a smooth process. Also, a tip to the wise or courteous - don't take a shopping cart in the store unless you really think you'll need one. There's just not enough room. And it seems the attitude of most women shopping here is along the lines of, "no, I will not move out of your way; I'm in primal bargain hunting mode and cannot hear anything other than the sound of a cash register going off in my brain." read more

Have never been to a Marshall's but have seen lots of commercials. I was very disappointed with selection. Things are pretty organized and easy to find. Lots of dressing rooms. Most cloths on clearance looked cheap. I did see some nice things that look like good quality. Will probably not go back to any Marshall's, must be geared to younger people than me. I liked the men's cloths better than Kohl's. read more

This store is the biggest Marshalls I've ever been in. I could have spent all day in there. Plenty of stock and well organized.

Oh Marshalls, we have such a love hate relationship. I personally do not enjoy shopping for clothing at all. When I have to, I like to hit up places like Marshalls to browse through and pray that I can find whatever I want right away. Some days they have some good stuff and I can get outta there quickly, but other days it just feels super unorganized and I can't find anything at all! On the other hand, I find that if I go in here with a friend when I'm not the one looking I always find things I feel like I need! It's a great store to just browse around and see what you might find if you have the time. read more

This is my fav Marshalls. They have good stuff, but it's neatly organised and clean. I actually hate shopping but love going to this place. I easily spend hours looking around with my friends and bf, he actually suggests going here as the guys selection is good. read more

Omg, this is the BEST Marshalls ever. I have shopped at Marshalls, TJ Maxx, all over the country whenever I travel. I have never seen a Fendi shoe in any, yet here they had a display of them. It's unique to the point I had to post on yelp about it. The staff are exceptionally friendly too. Woah, happy staff...wtf? This is so clean, so organized, who is their buyer? Give the staff in this place a raise, I am so impressed. read more

This Marshall has the best stuff out of all the Marshalls, I am guessing due to location. They also have people working there who have worked there FOREVER, like 20 years. I love those ladies, I always chat with them when I shop here. They always get you thru the line pretty quick at this Marshalls. Store is always clean and organized and BONUS... Bathroom isn't locked so you don't have to beg someone to open it for you or your kid (Carmel Mountain take note). read more

I am in LOVE with this Marshalls. In the past year, I have shopped here every month. I have bought everything from clothes, bags, summer sandals, serve ware to snacks :D But what I love most is their baby section. So many good deals on baby clothes, books and toys. And the brands are top notch like Carter's, The Children's Place, Melissa and Doug, Fisher Price, Baby Einstein, Disney. Pros: ++ Lots of reasonably priced items. ++ Stock keeps rotating frequently. ++ Clean and well arranged except the personal care section. ++ Friendly and fast check out. If you see something you like, buy it! Chances are it won't be available the next time. read more

Best. Marshalls. Ever. (I'm not kidding!) I generally hate going to Marshalls, Ross and TJ Maxx for many many reasons, mostly because stuff always is unorganized and looks picked over. This place is quite the opposite. And the selection of items is impressive -- right up there with Nordstrom Rack. I grew up in San Diego and never knew about this little gem of a bargain store until my brother introduced it to me just recently. I'm just bummed I didn't find out about it until I moved to the other coast and came out here for a visit. I'll definitely will be back at this Marshalls the next time I visit or better yet, living in SD! read more

I don't usually go to Marshalls first but I have to say this Marshalls always has a good selection of items. I especially like their shoe selections here, they have a good variety and quality of shoes to choose from. You do have to remember they are in Solana Beach and will if you don't bring your own bag, they charge you .10 cents for each bag you need. read more

I was in need of some work clothes and shoes. I left completely happy with what I found and for a decent price. Its way bigger and has a way better selection then the San Marcos location. Which is the one I usually go to. They seemed to be having a baby sale on car seats, bedding, etc. Its boots season ladies! They have just be stocked with tons of boots of all different styles. My next trip will definitely be for boot shopping! read more

My 5 stars are for Marshall's in general. @Samantha - Marshalls in several other states are like this one you describe in San Diego. I will have to check it out next time i am there, thank you. If you are ever in Minnesota, go to the Marshalls at Knollwood Mall. Knollwood is not much of a Mall, but i picked up Valentino suede slacks for $100 at this Marshalls, they also carry Prada, Miu Miu and Gucci. read more

The Solana Beach Marshalls has always been my very favorite and shop it at least once a week. However, lately, I have walked out many times without buying anything, which is very unusual. The lingerge dept. selection is way under par as is the Junior Dept. Women's Dept. is tired with not very attractive clothing. Hope they get back to their old self. read more

I have been shopping at this Marshalls for quite a long time. On my most recent visit, I was very disappointed in the quality of the women's clothing being offered for sale. While the number of better quality items have been decreased over my last few visits, this time I couldn't find anything worth much of a second look. Solana Beach is a community with a bit of disposable income. Why is Marshall's quality sinking so low? Hey, Marshalls! Please reboot your sales plan! read more

I'm almost afraid to come in here because I know I'll spend a ton of money! I love this store and this location in particular has some seriously awesome clothing for everyone in my family. I always leave with more than what I came in for.. read more

They don't have a lot to chose from, unless your looking for women's apparel. Which was disappointing (I look around with my sister). It's a lot of old styles and cheaper quality items. We found a few high end brands we jsuaybjg CPK nordstroms but you could tell it's not the normal quality. When we both decided to try stuff on for the fun of it, the lady in the fitting from was super rude. So I decided not to try anything on (which she gave me attitude for not wanting anything). They don't have much variety in the decor / other stuff section. Over all a VERY disappointing trip out here from Carlsbad. read more

First of all I love that they open early...9:30am weekdays. Although 9am would be much better :) I always find something here from cute mugs, wrapping paper, kids clothes or underwear. They have the best deals! Their clearance sections are also good. You have to dig a little but the savings are worth it. Plenty of parking and good return policy! read more

I'm a diehard Marshall's shopper. The Solana Beach store has always been far and away the best location of any I've seen. But lately, the selection of clothes has really gotten poor. There are very few racks of plain t-shirts, sweaters or pants. The La Jolla store still has a huge selection and, even though much farther away for me, is now my mainstay. read more
