The shelves are stocked, the floor is clear and clean, the line (especially on a Saturday afternoon) moves quickly. This location has consistently been one of my favs to shop for picture frames - double sided aisle and color coded.. it's like walking through a rainbow some days. The seasonal decor, right by the entrance is always stocked - whether planters in the spring/summer, ghosts and pumpkins in the fall, or baubles and felts garlands in the winter. And if you're ever in need of a white dish for a dinner party they allllways seem to have a aisle full of white dishes. Lately there are plenty of shopping carts hanging about, which is nice. Parking is still a disaster, but that's not necessarily HG's fault... still recommend shopping earlier in the day or parking closer to Stop & Shop.

They have everything you need for your home: furniture, rugs, bedding, bathroom necessities, kitchen necessities, decorations, food, even stuff for your dog (and possibly for cats, too)!!! Because of that, I didn't know there was a Spencers for years (not that I was looking for that store, but it's just interesting that I never knew there was a pretty well known store in a corner for years). The food court is pretty good with a wide selection of items and this one area between the center of the mall and the food court hallway occasionally switched out. Store prices vary and the mall can't really control that, obviously, but there's a good variety of stores with their ranging prices so that you can find your preference. I only know of one bathroom area and while it's pretty big, it also feels hidden and is inconvenient if you need to go from anywhere besides the center of the mall. Also, there's great parking and a bus stop for commuters. There's also other stores located in the same area but not in the mall which is convenient for a variety of reasons.

Parking is plentiful but like anyone else I'm jockeying for spots close. It's usually pretty safe and there are plenty of security guards but just be careful going to your car at night. A good mall.

Sales going on now... so you can get a pair of men's shorts for not 98$, but only $68! This definitely caters to a very affluent customer base. I can't justify spending on shorts given these don't look like they'd hold up to gardening. Much more suited to socializing wear. Designs are very straightforward, preppy summer styles and light cotton or other summer materials. Bright white and blues. The nice cashier kid tried to help me but he needed the manager. He was also busy ringing up people. He really tried to get the manager's attention and the manager said he had to help the delivery. I waited 15 minutes and the manager never attended to me.It would have taken a total of one minute probably. He was more concerned about the delivery coming in. In my opinion the customer comes first. The delivery man delivering soda could have waited a minute. The manager totally ignored me. I guess the soda delivery was more important. The young man who was the cashier was very kind and tried his best to help me. Don't think I will be going back there again.

When I visit American Dream Mall's location, I'm always asked if I'd like a dressing room or if I need help with anything. I tried everything on then took pictures of what I liked and decided to go support a store's sales with better customer service -- American Dream Mall. Their prices are pretty high, but I've been content with the quality of clothes that last more than a year or a few washes. Nowadays a lot of clothes only lasts a few washes before it starts pilling, stretching, shrinking or discoloring- I've had good experiences with Torrid's clothing. Although high in price, sales are great.

I asked if I can purchase them ( let's keep in mind that it's out on the sales floor behind the cashier openly visible meaning a customer can buy them) but the cashier was informing me that I can't buy them due to a male employee who works there and threatens her to not sell them to the public because actually he buys them all to resell the Pokémon packs for a much higher price . She also informed me that since he works there he is given a employee discount, so not only does he threaten the cashier to not sell the merchandise available to customers, he is given a employee discount AND resells them. Honestly, what a pathetic excuse of a employee taking advantage of things that's meant for kids.

They have boxes with descriptions which help to find items if you are looking for something specific. They have a large variety of vintage and 80's & 90's clothing which was cool to see. Prices are a bit high for my thrifting taste but not bad. Jean jackets were $15 & light female varsity vintage jackets were $10. Definitely check them out if you are looking for some cool vintage pieces.
