IDK. Hard to give a giant sports store 5 stars. I found some good sneakers there, found a guy in a…read moregreen shirt (someone told me who to look for, otherwise I was a bit lost and would have started wandering to customer service), and he found them in my size. That's the last I saw of anyone, practically, until the cashier rushed out as I was waiting and apologized. Friendly kid (I feel old calling her a kid), got me rung up and out the door. I think I got my last shoe or two here. So it's not bad, not great - prices are around average. I think I'll round up from the 3.5 since it was a very short experience, I got what I wanted, and the old Sports Authority I used to frequent is no more.

I asked him for suggestions on certain sneakers- he could have care less. He made it clear in front of my friends we were not a priority and he was just down right rude. If I'm gonna spend 100 + bucks I want the experience to be worth my while and to have somebody who works there that is knowledgeable. I mean, if you hate your job so much and you don't wanna measure people and you tell them to just do what's best and you can't be bothered. Why then are you working there? Such a shitty experience.. these guys need to be trained on customer service and they need to be trained on their own product. Some of them didn't even know what a tennis shoe was or a pickleball shoe was. This is a very well-versed area. People should know what they're doing, want to be there or want to learn.

Went in, salespeople solid for pickup and at the cashier, or asking if I needed help multiple times…read moreas I walked through the store. People like to work here, it seems. Changing rooms are buzz for a helper. Definitely enough staffers and people who are friendly to help all over. Three staffers were talking about one pair of ski boots they sold with the wrong insoles (it was the display old blue insoles instead of the new ones) and trying to find and contact that customer to the best of their ability. Good customer service, there. Winter gear almost all out in February, so end of season and clearance sales on some items, but not others (same snow bib for women was on sale, the men's version - not on sale? guess it's about how many they've sold?). Didn't really find any ski socks of note. Some jackets on sale. And some weird jelly bean flavors. Skip the bubble tea version, they taste terrible. Bike and ski services in the back. Prices aren't too bad, so hopefully would be smooth to get service. Will bring back my bike later this year to see what they can do about a sticky lower gear.

A staff did ask if they could help me but they just had other things to do seemingly. I ended up being there for a a couple of hours and purchased a large amount of items. (15 full price) and becoming a 'member'.The staff that let you in the fitting room were extremely helpful. Upon returning twice to return a total of two items, the cashier staff were rude and not caring, almost disgruntled. Very odd and won't be returning here even though it is close to work. I liked and enjoyed the shopping but the staff either get heat from their corporate people (which is probably the case) or are just very unhappy. I can't imagine why outdoor loving people would be unhappy!

This Macy's location I'd say is one of the biggest I've seen, including 3 floors. Each of the…read moredepartments was pretty easy to locate for the most part, with signs indicating that. I found some areas of the areas to be a good shape, with some areas being messy as well. I was happy to see quite a variety in each department, carrying a lot of different styles. Most of them had quite a cool design to add the spice. There were quite a number of employees working on the floor which was impressive. Busy store, but under one roof, it has it.

I was told the gift card money would come back within twenty four to fourty eight hours. When I checked afterward, a card still showed a zero balance. I received the manager's business card, Zach Leslie, and mentioned it was all still missing and followed up by text, email, and customer service chat, including speaking with a supervisor. I still don't have a clear answer about when this will be fixed. This has been frustrating and taken far more time than it should. The transaction failed at their register, but I'm the one chasing down my money. I just want Macy's to restore the missing gift card balances and refund the Amex charge on a failed transaction.

Rating: 4.5/5. This…read morespacious store offers a large selection. The knowledgeable sales person tailored dress pants for $10 each and send them for free at home. The impeccable dress pants arrived quickly and neatly packaged on hangers. I have been partial to Brook Brothers for their high-quality fully lined stylish dress pants for women. Their range of durable dress pants for men has also a flattering cut. Non-iron shirts for both genders are a must.

** Brooks Brothers Outlet, The Mall at Short Hills**…read more My father purchased a custom suit from this store to wear at my wedding. A custom suit is supposed to be the point where a brand like Brooks Brothers proves its reputation. The experience at this location was a disgrace. When my father came to pick up the finished suit, a staff member handed it to him over the counter with no hanger and no garment bag, as though it were a pile of laundry. No one offered to show him to a fitting room so he could try it on. When he tried it on anyway, the sleeves were visibly two different lengths. Instead of acknowledging the error, the staff argued with him. They insisted that the uneven sleeves were his fault because his shoulders sit at different heights. Accounting for a client's body is the entire purpose of custom tailoring. A tailor who cannot fit asymmetrical shoulders, and then blames the customer for having them, should not be selling custom work. Only after my father pushed back did the store agree to fix the sleeves. Only after he complained did anyone steam the suit and put it in a garment bag. Every basic courtesy that should have been standard came only after a dispute. My father is a Black man, and I am left asking whether another customer would have been handed his suit the same way, denied a fitting room, and argued with over the store's own mistake. This was a suit for his daughter's wedding. The store turned what should have been a proud moment into an insult. If you are considering custom tailoring at this location, take your money elsewhere. The staff here showed no professionalism, no accountability, and no respect for the customer standing in front of them.
