Call to inquire if they bought boxed sets of baseball cards. Employee responded what are you looking to get for them ? I replied that I didn't know and that I would appreciate his offer. He said I don't make offers and abruptly hung up on me. Very rudeness read more

Very disappointing. Walked in with my friend to sell him some stuff. was super rude from the second we walked in. Cranky and straight up rude. Proceeded to ask us for a Knicks players name so he can tell a costumer on the phone because he didn't know the name. and was VERY rude about it. The last few times I've been here. the guy has been full of disrespecT. Won't be coming here anymore. read more

Located right next to Macy's at the Paramus Park Mall, Buddy's has been around almost 50 years and has great sports items for sports fans of all ages. Buddy is very knowledgeable in sports going back many years. A big PLUS from the young staff at the few remaining chains. Apparel for all ages, collectables, framed jerseys, autographed items, sports cards, mugs. Too many items to list..... A great place when you need a variety of choices. Better than the internet in many ways SOME of the items may be on the high priced side, but think about it. Apparel you can try on . Gifts ready to buy & use\give. Huge inventory under one room. And of course supporting a local business. The true sports fan can spend at least an hour looking around. read more

I walked in with a drink and he immediately chased after me and said no drinks in here. I don't see a sign in there saying that plus its so overpriced and its the same selection in there as nothing ever changes. Plus i prefer other sports stores over this terrible place. read more

Just got kicked out because I left the store and came back while contemplating buying some overpriced baseball. 1 star.

They kicked me and my friend out because we were contemplating to hard on what we were gonna buy, mind you there were 3 people in his store and we were 2 of them. read more

I had a wonderful experience shopping here today. The owner, Buddy, is incredibly kind and helpful. They have an incredible selection of all things sports memorabilia! Definitely worth checking out! read more

The store itself isnt bad if you know what you are getting yourself into. He has a lot of really cool memorabilia and autographed stuff, and the prices arent bad. The biggest issue I have with this place is that all the adidas, nike, and mitchell and ness jerseys he sells are FAKE and he advertised them as real. I questioned to the authenticity of a jersey I was looking at because he wanted $200, and he got almost insulted that I would ask that, despite them being fake. read more

Great spot for a # of things in regards to sports attire, memorabilia, games, gifts, etc It's my favorite spot to shop for baseball caps. They have a great selection and reasonable priced. read more

Love this place. The owner is extremely nice and helpful and he really works with you on prices. Great selection of memorabilia too. It's no wonder he's been in business for almost 50 years! Definitely check this place out if you're a sports fan or looking for gifts for one. read more

Buddy's sports corner is one of the most unprofessional gross and rude establishments that I have ever set foot in! There was a white male employee in his 50's that had the most racist attitudes towards me and my family ( my father and husband) we are both white hispanics and where looking around and my father tried on a jacket and we where discussing it in Spanish and he came over and he took the jacket of my father and made us leave ! i thought it was a joke and he just insulted us the whole way and made us feel so terrible!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE PLUS everything is so over priced and the quality is terrible too expensive. not worth it. If i could give it 0 stars i would read more

Unprofessional business owner with a nasty appearance, overpriced & not authentic merchandise, was a long time customer for many yrs, but not anymore, after being cursed & spoken to very meanly, will always take my business elsewhere. read more

PROS: This store has a lot of nice stuff on display. You can get many unique autographs, sports apparel, man cave merchandise, office supplies, and things you'd get for your car. CONS: everything in that store is completely overpriced! The owner, Buddy, is also very mean and will always shove products down your throat for you to buy. OVERALL: This place is great to get something unique in, however, it's not customer friendly or affordable. I would only buy an autograph on a cool looking item that's framed. The store itself though is the best memorabilia store I've ever been to read more

I came in with my boyfriend right before a red sox yankees game. He stupidly forgot his red sox jersey at home and needed a quick jersey. He called before opening, and the owner was thankfully in. He looked throughout his large inventory to pick out several red sox jersey options for him. He had them ready for him at our arrival as soon as he opened up shop. We were in and out in 15 minutes in time to get to our game and still managed to have a fantastic and personable experience. He also shared some of his amazing and interesting stories about how he started his shop and owned a house down the shore during our quick 15 minute interaction. Amazing guy. Amazing store. 100% recommend to anyone looking to purchase any sporting merchandise and attire. 5 stars and would give more if the app let me. read more

Amazing selection of collectibles, jerseys, and memorabilia. Owner is extremely nice and was happy to talk sports with me for several minutes. Will absolutely be coming back for any sports related Purchases. read more

As unprofessional as they come. I get it, you care about fanatics instead of casuals. Then don't put your niche store inside of a MALL. Dude with the ridiculous mustache is the owner and an awfully miserable person at that. Poised to spend a lot of money, I'm glad we didn't and someone of this low character deserves no business anyway. He may have had some previous glory years, but Buddy Kurzweil is on borrowed time. No one will remember your store, just your awful attitude, especially towards children. read more

Went in with my special needs group and this idiot Buddy asked us to leave. Not only was he rude but he totally discriminated against us. We've been there before and have bought many items with another guy working there who was very kind and helpful. This man Buddy with his bad attitude was a jerk! Shame on you! We'll never return! read more

Went in just browsing and wound up buying. Buddy was great and no pressure at all. Huge selection and fairly priced . I'll be back for sure.

I love this place! Buddy's been in the business for 50 years and it shows. They recently moved from the old location in the mall and are next to Macy's. The new store is fantastic! So much bigger! You can find so many things and they also do custom framing! I can spend hours in the store. read more

The individual at the store on 7/31/2023, not interested in answering any questions. Just stated "google it". Customer service at it's best!

My son went in to buy a pack of baseball cards for his brother and was yelled at by Buddy. Buddy yelled at him to leave because he was browsing for too long. Is it a crime to look at merchandise before we decide to buy a product?? We will be taking our business elsewhere and others should as well. Learn how to talk to people, do better and treat people with kindness & respect regardless of age. read more

Always a great experience at Buddy's. Love hanging out and chatting there. Even if you aren't a huge sports fan, you can hear some amazing stories. They have everything a collector come want and even stuff for people starting out. Amazing place for gifts. Fun stuff for kids to support their teams. If they don't have it, you don't need it (or he will find it for you). Incredible deals. Amazing custom service read more

great friendly and generous staff... highly recommend.... lots of great items to choose from

This is half a review and half a story. So back in 2017 the Ottawa Senators were about to play the Rangers in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. So I walk in there to look at what Sens gear they had and I get to talking with "Buddy" about the series cause I knew he was a rangers fan. Well little did I know this would turn into a hostile argument about why "the Senators fucking suck", "you guys wont win a single game", "you don't stand a chance" all while I just was making small talk about how I would be going to the next game. Well the Senators won that series 4-2 and now aren't you just one dumb bitch, Buddy! Hope you cry yourself to sleep over that series. Oh yeah this place sucks read more

Buddy's Sport Corner has every type of sports memorabilia, from jersey to autographed pictures and more. On top of that the customer service was wonderful . I brought my husband a Giants jersey for Christmas and I bought the wrong size and I also couldn't find the receipt. I went in there and immediately buddy helped me find a new Giants Jersey that was the right size . I got on line to do an exchange he said you don't need to get on line your good. They made it so easy and they couldn't be nicer. I will defiantly be back! read more

Believe all of the negative reviews you find for Buddy's Sports Corner because this place offers the worst customer service. The owner gets prickly if you ask any questions, acts superior and is completely rude. I will never waste money or time here again. read more

I like coming to Buddy's. They have a lot of interesting sports merchandise and Buddy, the owner, is a very honest and knowledgable person about all the sports merchandise here. Several years ago I purchased a really expensive signature jersey, which I had to return for personal reasons. Buddy, the owner, could only offer store credit back but allowed me to use it over the course of a few years. This was extremely helpful and enabled me to purchase presents for other friends, and myself. There are a lot of cool sports paraphernalia in this location. read more

The owner was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking with him and help me find the Yankee t-shirt I was looking for. I loved looking at all of the Memorabilia that he had it took back to the old days. I saw posters of sporting events that I had forget had taken place. read more

While my wife was shopping in the mall my son wanted to go in and look at the hockey memorabilia. As I felt we had been in there long enough and not wanting to disrupt the multitudes and hordes of people that were crammed into the store I told my son that we should go. The store was actually empty and I am being severely sarcastic. The person at the front of the store asked if we needed any help to which I replied no thank you my son likes to look at the hockey memorabilia. The guy says that there is a baseball museum with lots of memorabilia there at Yogi Bera stadium and we should go there and check that out. If that's not the most nasty sarcasm I've ever heard I don't know what is. It's not surprising the store was empty, with an attitude like that I'm surprised this tool is still in business. This is not the kind of attitude for a business and if he owns the place the doors should be closing very very soon. STAY AWAY STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE! read more
