Well first off this place isn't closed lol. Secondly it is an old fashioned brick and mortar card shop. I work in the city but live a few blocks away from this place and had no idea it existed. The owner is a real stand up guy. I bought a hobby box of 2019 heritage and to my surprise it was the hot box. A refractor in every pack. On top of that the owner gave me a miniature texans baseball bat because I told him I'm from Texas and a fan of the Texans. He also gave me a one screw card case for free. I've been to plenty of cards shops spanning from Texas to Nyc. I have to be honest this is the best card store I've been to not only for prices but the owner is a real stand up guy. I've been collecting memorabilia since I was eight years old, I am now 55 years old, so I have been dealing with many people selling their authenticated collectible items. I have never met anyone as knowledgeable and professional as the owner of Triple Play Baseball. Every time I deal with him (by phone or in person in the store) he answers all of my questions like a true gentleman, he understands what I'm looking for in certain items, letting me know if he can obtain the item or if he has it in his store . I have spent hours talking to him about the Yankees, Mets, Jets, Knicks memorabilia, he has very reasonable prices. Looking forward on getting back to his store to keep adding to my collection, as always thank you for everything .... read more

A fun place to shop for sports memorabilia. The place is packed with items of interest. The owner Tony is very congenial and very knowledgeable. The shop is tiny and not always open so call first. read more

As luck would have it, while going down one of my IG (Instagram) browsing black holes, I came across the IG for Market House! I love, love, loved the posts and all the things that the owner posts so much so, I asked if she had curbside pickup. Not only did she say she could accommodate but she also kindly took pictures of any item I was interested in and gave great suggestions! I ended up buying 2 cute plants and pots which I'm in love with. I put them on my desk and they brighten my mood. The curbside pick up was really great too! Everything from payment to the pickup of the items was completely contactless. She even offers to deliver locally! I greatly appreciate the kindness and respect for contactless service, as well as the wonderful suggestions. 150% a fantastic place to shop.

We choose our blanket color ahead of time through a quick and easy online ordering process and our three skeins arrived in the blink of an eye. Casey led the virtual class with incredible patience and that made the whole experience feel fun and approachable. She demonstrated each step first, then guided us through the process in real time, making sure no one felt left behind. She even restarted portions of the lesson a couple of times just to ensure everyone was on the same page, which was greatly appreciated. At the end of the session, Casey shared some of the other classes offered by The Craft Kit, and wow, what a great course list. Such a fun team activity and I'm genuinely obsessed with my chonky kawaii blanket. It took me about two hours to finish my blanket from start-to-finish.

We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.
