When every single employee came out of the bathroom at the same time I explained my situation and the lady told me to go back to kids clothes and ask her to help me. I said can you call her and let her know I'm coming and she said no.??? So I left the store, ordered them on line for pick up at the store and got them. Ridiculous!! I bought a shirt for my father in law at the Men's store and the salesperson could not have been more helpful. He was asked to speak as a Veteran at a Fourth of July event and the man doesn't own something red, white and blue.Had to fix that! Great experience. I also bought a cute infant outfit for my neighbor who just had a baby girl. Took awhile as two employees were engrossed in conversation even though I was standing right there waiting to check out. Why still a four you may be asking? I like the quality of their products and they have great sales. I've never seen the same employee twice so maybe they are working on customer service.

Even when Smoky Oak is packed next door, you can always snag a spot somewhere. This is a pretty small DG, but is usually clean and somewhat organized. Randomly, you'll find a good seasonal deal (kiddie pools in the summer, sweet Christmas stuff in winter), but generally we come here for basic stuff like drinks, office supplies, etc. The location is convenient for us. Everything about this experience was bad. It started with…read morean employee giving me dirty looks as I walk in. I think they were part of the loss prevention team but I do not know. I start to walk around the store and an alarm on one of the shoes starts to go off. No one, at all, goes over to check it out. This includes the man who stared me down walking in. I continue to walk around. I find some sunglasses and pet supplies I like. I am slowly browsing when a lost child starts screaming in the middle of the store. No one goes to comfort the child or help them find their adult. The child who is about 4 years old is just screaming in the middle of the store looking for their adult. I am beyond ready to leave at this point. I walk up to purchase my items and the line is 5 people back OUTSIDE the twisty line space they have. The line was 12-15 people deep. With 2 people checking out customers. If they are low on people I understand the checkout but none of the rest of it. I look at the line. I put my stuff down and walk out. This shopping experience was very stressful and unpleasant.
