This marshals has potential, but the nature of the shoppers, staff and the selection are complete turn off. Every time I come here some weirdo tries to either pick my pockets or get far too close for comfort, even if it wasn't a pandemic. The selection is also a little off. The style of the clothes and shoes seem a little outdated. I suppose the other items are for the demographic of the area, which is not me. We continue to check in try to find things we like, but still come up empty. The only real positive, is the restrooms are pretty clean and accessible. Maybe one day it will get better. read more

So many beautiful things on sale and it wasn't crowded at all, I believe after Black Friday and Cyber Monday everybody already spend enough money, saving now for upcoming holidays gifts. Such a beautiful gifts arrangment from 29.99 to 79.99 This is the only time of the year when you can find all kind of sweats, coffee, tea, chocolate, even oil and pasta from all over the world. I always getting Virgin olive oil and pasta from Italy and Spain. My favorite ( everybody by now knows my weakness for sweets) Panettone all the way from Italy and Soda Christmas bread all the way from Germany. But all my holiday spirit was gone entirely when I spend almost an hour in line- apparently management decided to keep only two girls at the register. read more

This is your typical Marshall'sand overall I like Marshall's...its a good place to shop especially if you know your products and which are real deals . I've been in cleaner ones up in rochester but it wasnt bad. I was going to give it 4 stars but I had an issue at the register. It was the day after christmas and they had Christmas related markdowns. Well I guess they had too many and didnt have the time to mark each so they just said that any Christmas items got 50% off at the register which is great. I got a whole bunch of things. But when I went to the register they started to say that several item I had didnt count even though I got them from the tables with the signs that said Christmas items reduced at the register. They were clearly Christmas related too...this left a bad taste.. read more

The store is not as clean or well stocked as other Marshall's. The lines are long but the manager on duty help to move the line along quickly and efficiently today. He added additional cashiers and the as soon as a check out occurred they called for the next customer. The cashier I had was horrible she didn't greet me and was eating and drinking the entire time. read more

I came here for holiday shopping for my mother and it was a nice experience. The staff was nice especially Jean C. (i hope that is his name) However, they have a lot of good merchandise and the store is organized. I just wish the line moved a little faster. Other than that, I have no complaints. Much better than the Marshalls near my house in Elmont. read more

After attempting to make a return at Marshall's (elmont), which was unsuccessful and a terrible experience / waste of time , I decided to give Marshall's (lawrence) a try. Anna S. assisted me today and she was EXTREMELY helpful, friendly, patient, efficient, informative and kind!! She helped me return unused items without a receipt. Anna had such a great attitude / positive energy, I will definitely return back to this location and recommend my family & friends to do so as well. This is my favorite Marshall's. It's the most organized one I've ever been to. Most of them the hair products and lotions etc are just a mess. This one they are always organized. This is a huge location too. read more

If I could copy and paste my review for TJ Maxx at Five Towns Shopping Center, then I would. They are very similar -- some days you can walk in and find a stack of Hurley t-shirts, other days business suits, and then some days you walk out empty handed. Normally I would have nothing but positive things to say about this Marshalls. I have been a customer for many years, and I always find things that are useful. In general, the staff are very nice and polite. However, I dealt with a manager today who was rude and very unprofessional. I will be writing corporate about his tone as I would hope they would have more courteously trained managers; "Travis H" was just awful! He hung up on the sales person who called him after I insisted I wanted to talk to him, appeared at the register in a very annoyed manner, attempted to cut me off before I finished explaining my "return" situation, and was just rude. By the time I finished dealing with him, it was no longer about the fact that they would not return a pair of $39.99 shoes without a receipt and more about his method of dealing with a paying customer, who in his words is , "not the only person who spends a lot of money at Marshalls..." For the record, I wrote this review as a matter of principle. I will donate the shoes if I cannot find the receipt, so it is not about the shoes but about my dissatisfaction with dealing with a manager "Travis H." read more

This is a fairly large Marshall's with a large selection of goods from clothing to housewares. The store is always clean and the checkout line goes extremely fast. I have had some great finds at this location and always stop in when I am in the neighborhood to see what is new and you should too. read more

I really try not to do to these type of stores especially a hop skip and a jump from the "hood" because these places seem to be unorganized. However, this location seems to be doing well with their stocking of merchandise. Since they've reopened I've noticed a better variety of items. read more

This is the worst Marshalls I've ever been to. I just finished a survey about this store with the hopes that something will be done to improve it. You can easily wait in line for 20 min with 2 people ahead of you and 4 cashiers. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I go in hoping there won't be a line and every time I'm disappointed. read more

I rarely write reviews but I am so upset with the way the managers and staff handled a return I tried to make. I bought a pair of shoes that when I can home were too small and were worn on the bottoms. Otherwise looked brand new. Do to the fact that they were to small I went to return or would have been happy to exchange for the right size. I had my children with me who both said I didn't wear them since they were insinuating I wore them although they had tags and looked completely brand new except for the bottoms. The manager told me that they don't have anything in their store that is worn on the bottom. So I said I will prove you wrong and I found at least 6 pairs of shoes that were worn. At the last point the managers went to the back and wouldn't help or serve me at all. Everyone was completely rude. They selll defective products or things that are worn but when it comes to returning it they will not. read more

Awful!!!!!!!!!! The merchandise is good, some days you can find real buys but the lines are terrible. The employees are nice, helpful but there are NEVER enough employees to accommodate the shoppers. You can wait half an hour online any day of the week. I have written several emails to Marshall's headquarters and they have never been answered. Many times I have to leave the line after shopping because I run out of time. read more
