US beaded sparkly purse $29.99 Marshall's in Best of the West January 2, 2021 Sunday

I don't know how I could have forgotten about this Marshall's but I think that I'll be coming here more often to check out what's on trend. I usually try to go through the whole store looking for unique birthday gifts, Mother's Day gifts, moi stuff, family needs, food/snax or items I think I might need to change up the décor. Probably due to supply chain issues / Suez canal debacles the inventory does seem to be half to 3/4 less than it normally is. Here I am going through the whole store...They have everything !! I feel like I did a little work looking around at all the different categories of goods....I finally make it to the checkout, with a short line of 3 people. I'm in for $105+ but I have no wallet. Where's D' wallet ? Anyone would panic at this missing. I quickly think back to the last store I went to which was DSW but I used moi gift card. Mrs. D'wallet better be where I last remember having it on the couch.... As I am going to CES shortly, I had ordered meal delivery service since during CES there's no time to cook. Normally the cashier could put the goods on hold but tonight at 3 AM they're doing inventory. So there is no holding of anything & I have to come back before they close at the usual 8pm on a Sunday. It's 730PST & I race out. If my pocket book is not on the couch a marauder stole it while I was sleeping. I frantically grab the credit card which is right where it was supposed to be & drive like Danika Patrick back to Marshall's. It's 755p PST and there is a huge checkout line. Whew !! Moi adrenaline is gunning but I successfully check out.

We love Marshalls. Need I say more? Lol Everything here is so nice. It's kinda dangerous for me to be in there because I'll buy everything. o.o I'm not too big on buying clothes here unless it's on sale. I bought a My Hero Academia hoodie here! Size medium-- probably for guys, but I use it sometimes when I go to the gym. Sunglasses are cool here. I like the workout accessories. I like looking at the spa stuff like face washes, serums, lotions, etc-- but I have to always look at journals haha I'm obsessed with getting a cute journal at Marshalls. Yes, I'm guilty of buying journals and barely writing in them. Don't judge me!

This one is a smaller store compared to their other stores. I wouldn't make this a special trip (unless you're doing a Marshalls run- sometimes that can be fun and expensive, hahaha). We visit when we are in the area (the benefit is visiting the sister company, TJ Maxx). Our most recent visit was Mother's Day (other people were doing the same thing, eating at Sweet Tomatoes, then shopping nearby; well, the truth is, we always do some browsing and walking after a big meal). Sometimes we find something, sometimes we don't- I guess that's the treasure hunt feel of it, with this popular off-price chain store. I didn't look too much at the clothing (usually, I like to look at juniors, athletic, and misses) but I visited the beauty and health aisles, handbags, sun hats, the clearance aisles, the house wares aisles, the food and snack aisles, the children's, the pets, and luggage. (To give you an idea of the size, I'll give you two stores as a comparison, the Marshalls across from Red Rock and Marshalls at Arroyo, those are good-sized stores; which means much more variety and inventory.) It is clean. The racks are not jam-packed but well-stocked. K-cup packages are always a good item to score at these stores.

Happy that the Marshall's moved to this shopping center, so I can just park and walk over to the Ulta, and TJmaxx after I'm done. Usually I can find something at Marshall's. It is similar to shopping at TJ maxx and Ross. The setup of the store is similar to other locations and that makes it easy to find your way around. This particular shopping trip I was able to find some baby gifts. Although i also went for some bath towels but didnt find the color i was looking for. That's the thing about shopping in these stores, if you see something you like, get it, because it may not be there for long! You can always return if you change your mind.

All the staff were so friendly, funny, and genuinely helpful. The staff member who led the event walked us through choosing our plants based on lighting and where we planned to put them. We got clear and thorough care instructions (which I definitely needed because I usually accidentally kill my plants ). They even offer house calls & virtual help if you're struggling with your plants, which is amazing. I could've saved many a plant had I known about this spot, lol. Anyway, the shop has beautiful plants, cute accessories, and I love how the event space was decorated. There was plenty of seating & they host workshops regularly. There were cocktails, mocktails, water, and snacks available for purchase. Overall, it was such a positive & uplifting experience. I loved getting my hands dirty & creating something myself. I highly recommend browsing the shop or attending an event!

We were assisted by Alyssa. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We discussed all of the necessary supplies we would need for tile work and placed the order. We were fully covered for the tiling jobs since our project manager only told us to order the tile. Turns out we needed all but the thin set. Our project manager neglected to tell us prior to ordering that we did not need the thin set but Alyssa assured me that anything that wasn't needed could be returned. I wasn't able to speak to the project manager until the following day and it turns out the thin set was not needed, so I was able to have the order adjusted prior to pick up by our project manager. Alyssa knows her stuff for sure! I asked her honest opinion on grout color choices and she led me in the right direction! We are very thankful for all of her help and guidance and expertise through this journey. When we return to the store for future purchases, we will remember Alyssa for sure. To cancel the thin set from the order prior to pick up, I called this afternoon and spoke with Aidan and Aidan was able to process the return before our pick up and issue a credit to our account. We appreciate both Alyssa and Aiden for their knowledge and dedication to customer satisfaction. The Clemens family.

I did have to ask for help to find a few things and I was pleased that they had what I was looking for. The prices are pretty good for how the climate is today. The store was very neat and clean. *Now this is where I went from looking to give five stars. How well the first two staffer's that were stocking up the items in the middle of the sales floor; gave awesome customer service to me. The young lady walked me to the area of which I was inquiring about. She didn't just point like some store employees tend to seemingly do. As I walked up to the front to check out there was a not so vibrant person behind the register. Why do I always tend to run into Sour puss faces as of recent? I'm not sure but this young person was so dry every question I asked it was like she was programmed to say, Unfortunately. She used this word 5x's in a short span of 3 minutes of me making my transition. I can't remember her name and maybe that's for the best but she was giving Sloth vibes and as if she'd learned a new 13 letter word from Wikipedia or Google. I was looking at her face to see if was a bot or something smh. I just don't understand Why normal behavior is becoming EXTINCT. I ended up switching the word and when I asked her could I pay with cash? She replied, Yes. Of course I was cynical and replied by saying, it's Fortunate that I have cash on me today. She just looked as if she needed to be turned back on or greased (like the Tin-Man ) from The Wizard of Oz movie. I just can't with the lack of social skills that are being displayed by a lot of these young people. Jobs Never would've hired me if I had a Lackluster personality back in my day. Now it's like What The Phuck Ever NO BODY really cares any way. Just know, I still do and I'll keep addressing and giving my two cents wherever my tax paying coins are being used.

I responded by saying hello and thank you. As usual, the store has so much to browse on, I always start from the left to the right working my way around. That's just to see everything they have to offer. The T-shirt wall is a favorite, there's always something funny to make you laugh. I picked up a couple bundle packages of socks, a couple slime lickers (kiddo's favorite) as I made my way towards the register. Once there, I assume the same female person who greeted me, was now telling me " I need you to stand by the batteries honey!" Like I was standing in the wrong place. I was actually looking to see if the self service registers were available. The clerk was the only person assisting and her current customer was having a payment issue I believe. Meanwhile, a few other customers have now added to the line. The clerk didn't ask for anyone else to come help her, though she didn't seem bothered. The 2 young ladies at the register where doing separate transactions and the clerk was asking for her email to receive a discount. Now, I do get it.. companies want to have a way to increase their profits by sending messages or communications to shoppers. But your line is growing. You're asking for emails, then if you want to purchase a 35 cent reusable bag... the process has turned into an interview at this point. Keep your process... get more cashiers to ensure it goes quickly is all I'm saying.

Since what I was looking for was purchased before I was confident that ordering on line without trying on would be ok.... So bright and early this AM with my faithful pooch and cuppa joe at my side, I rubbed a few more microns of plastic on the 'ol' credit card and ordered my items... easy peasy to move through the menu, finalize my purchase and get confirmatory email. I guess my only negative is the shipping charge (free if over 89.00) and since my purchase was a little less, I had to pay. It wasn't worth purchasing more to get "free" shipping. But all in all, a decent experience.
