I've been shopping at the East Islip store for close to 50 years but I wont anymore. The employees were always friendly and helpful. Not anymore. Now, despite there being a very long line stretching to the men's dept, they're standing around speaking Spanish amongst themselves. Yesterday a woman left a full cart and walked out. Its really sad that you cant find professional people to work. read more

Another local store that used to be nice but go to shop and it's like I'm in another town that I don't want to be in. Most of the people shopping are now Spanish, their kids are running all over the place and it's messy and dirty. I went in about a week ago, was so gross I walked right out. read more

Here's the Scoop: came with my son to do some shopping and it is packed. I wanted to go to TJ Maxx, yes I'm a Maxxinista! But my son talked me into going to Marshall's. there's still a lot of nice things to purchase but it is picked over. I was able to get some nice gifts, so I'm happy :-) Every department has great choices left. Designer items at reasonable prices. I still have a few items to get then I'm done. This Christmas I really proud of myself I didn't over spend. read more

I always have been Marshall Lover but today the experience in this location. TERRIBLE, the most frustrating part is when the bad costumer service came from the Manager (june 16, 2019 at 2:20pm) . The problem i experienced today is i found a lotion for $12 and when i get to the register they had it marked supposedly incorrect so they change it to $24, so i go and get 4 more of the SAME ONES in $12 and they manager changes it to $16 thinking she is doing me a favor but According to the Weight and Measures Law, Article 16 the Agriculture and Markets Law and Related Sections, Issued September 22,2006 Section 197-b . What a total nightmare, the store is in complete disarray, the sales people were rude, they couldn't care less whether you were online, need help, or whatever... I spent over an hour looking for exactly what I needed and wanted for a trip, when I finally found everything, the line was so long, I actually left everything in the cart and walked out. And there were things on the floor clothes everywhere, I will never shop here again... read more

If I could give this store no stars I would. I stopped there after going to Stop and Shop. The store was disgusting. I looked at some of the candles and there and there was literally an inch of dust on them, which set off my allergies. There was Make-up there that was opened and used and I definitely saw a roach over by the purse section. I was so disgusted, I left immediately. Suffolk county board of health has been called. This place should be shut down. read more

This is a very disorganized and messy store. The selection is very limited in the men and women's plus departments. In woman's plus sizing, the styles look like what you might find at a Salvation Army thrift store. The lines are ridiculously long, and more often than not I drop my selections at the desk and walk out. Why do I return? Occasionally there is that one great bargain. Please try harder! read more

This Marshall's is good but always too long of a line. Lines move generally fast however not fast enough if you want to run in and out for a gift. Each Marshall's should have an "express" line. This store loses business every day when customers who can't wait the normal half hour plus to check out spend time shopping only to drop everything and leave. Last visit the bathroom was absolutely disgusting with overflowing garbage, urine and wet paper towels on the floors. Not even soap to wash your hands; not very hygenic. They are so cheap there are no hooks inside the bathroom stalls to hang your pocketbook! So where are you supposed to put it? Please get it together Marshalls! I used to love shopping here. Now I go elsewhere. People spend alot of money in your store, show respect and clean the bathroom. read more

This marshalls is def a hidden gem... They usually have a nice selection of newer designers which is a plus. Also, this marshalls is extremely organized ! I hate sifting through shit like at the other marshalls, I feel like I'm at a garage sale lol... THE SHOE DEPT IN HERE IS AWESOME.
