Bargain Hunting Day in Marshalls - Episode 2! After getting a tip from someone at the Danville Marshalls that the Dublin location was even better, we decided to keep the bargain hunt rolling and headed over to 7892 Dublin Blvd. Right away, this store felt a bit bigger and was definitely more packed--with both merchandise and people. Clearly, word gets around when there's a solid Marshalls in town. The store had lots of good merchandise at reasonable prices. While I'm not exactly a marathon shopper (I tap out after 10 minutes, max), I did my usual loop and then found a spot near the front to observe the action. What stood out to me was how engaged and helpful the staff were. You could tell some of the regulars even knew the employees by name, which says a lot about the store's consistency and service. As for my significant other? She was in her element and found more goodies to take home. I just enjoyed watching the whole Marshalls ecosystem in motion--and hey, this one might've won the day in terms of inventory and overall energy. However, our bargain-hunting adventure had one more stop left, so off we went!

Girls wanted to buy some clothes and beauty items.

Not many retail stores, but more fancy eateries for the upper class. There's also an Equinox, which is a famous fancy gym. Everything is almost expensive as Santana Row. Some security guards are walking around on duty. The parking garage is a bit curved when you enter and exit. I only like the Christmas tree area, which is beautiful to look at in the evening, including the water fountain in the kids' area. It's nice to walk around and take profile pictures, but not much to do until the holiday season. Overall, this is great for families to hang out and for rich people to dine in.

Shout-out to the unknown vendor who built the 2026 "Year of the Horse" photo booth. A heads-up: the space availability numbers posted outside the parking garage weren't accurate at all, which made the search more frustrating than it needed to be. It was also tough navigating through the crowds at times, especially because the toddlers in our group couldn't see anything over the crowds. That said, City Center Bishop Ranch truly offers something for everyone in the family. There's a splash pad that's perfect for little ones, plenty of restaurants at every price point for picky eaters, and even fun options for adults- like a DIY cocktail crawl for the 21+ crowd. We once made it our mission to try every margarita on property! I ran into my retired high school teacher, bartending at THE LOT (movie theater). On the shopping front, I do all my Anthropologie returns here, and I've been refreshing my inbox waiting for news about Rico Rico Taco opening here (I'm obsessed with their Oakland location). As for dining, I've enjoyed meals and treats from Slanted Door, Salt & Straw, Roam Artisan Burgers, Philz Coffee, Mendocino Farms, Marugame Udon, Delarosa, and Boba Guys. I still can't believe that sleepy San Ramon now has so many fantastic eateries and experiences all in one place. It's quickly become a go-to meeting place for our extended family.

I took the kids here when they were super young and the made glasses with their name on it. Actually, I think they pointed and we did most of the work. The person in the store who helped us took a while ironing the patches on my child's shirt. She then gave us the rhinestones to "bedazzle" the shirt. While we were adding the rhinestones, we noticed yellow patches around all the ironed patches. When we asked her, she asked us to cover this with some rhinestones. We didn't want to add so many rhinestones and told her the same. She then said it's closing time and we could come back another day and start over. It's the attitude of the employee that bothered me the most. She knew about the yellow patches (probably why it took her so long to iron the patches on) and instead of fixing the issue, handed us the shirt anyways. We spent so long decorating it before noticing the yellow patches and when we pointed it out, instead of being surprised or apologetic, she had a solution all ready for us. I did not want to buy a ruined shirt and pay full price for it, so I left it there. My child though, young and not always logical, was inconsolable as all her other friends had their shirts.

What brought me back to memory lane was Converse high tops and the Stan Smith tennis shoes. Wow! These were my favorite shoes in the 70s, but at that time, everyone had to have them. We have progressed a lot in regards to quality and comfort, but those aforementioned shoes were functional, made well, and durable. As for the store, this boutique is really unique in that you wish you could buy one of everything. You can't say that about all shoe stores. They carry very nice shoes for the inventory they have. My wife bought a very nice purse. Typical of her buyer remorse mentality, she didn't like the color of the first one she took home. No problem, the friendly staff accepted the return (made easy since she just bought it a few days earlier and had a receipt) and she returned it for the same purse, but in a different color. I think On The Edge will be a great fit for the Bishop Ranch City Center, but you have to make sure you walk upstairs to check out the store.

The pick up area is the left most entrance in case you were wondering where to park. It's also less crowded on this side of the parking lot. Someone was waiting there to do a pick up and I guess he was waiting for a while and luckily someone was putting away some items and we were able to grab them. I guess he was the only one there. But in no time, I got my items. Perhaps it might be nice to have a buzzer or notification for when people are waiting. Maybe there is already one there and the gentleman who was waiting didn't see it. Other than that, it was nice that this particular Target had the items I wanted as other locations were out. Also luckily, I'm here this week for work so it was convenient. Now is it always the best value? Depends on if there's a sale. But some items I've seen online and in other stores are always comparable. So I like to jump on Target Circle rewards when I can which is free to join which is lovely. When I'm in the area and need something from Target, it's definitely a good one to go to.

So if you're hungry and want to grab a quick bite like a pizza, pasta, or anything that is still on the menu, you can get it here. The selection of stuff to choose from is also really good and the value of what you pay for overall is overall decent. Least the tax is cheaper here compared to most of the other Targets' within the area. The biggest criticism I have with this Target though is the design of the store as it does feel a bit weird at times. But at least it's never too busy and its easy to get a parking space and leave.
