Marshalls - Department Stores Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

This is a newer Marshall's in Columbus, but it's never really felt new. The store is small and the selection is limited. They have a decent pet section, but even though I'm usually a big Maxxinista, this location falls short. Personally, I go to the TJMaxx on Bethel for workout gear and pet supplies, the Marshalls/Home Goods on Henderson for food items and women's wear, but this location didn't really have any one stand out section. read more

We were on a mission to find shoes and stopped into Marshalls to check out the selection. There were slim pickings for the size we needed on this visit, so we moved along to check out clothes and toys, as well. The pet section shared some aisle space with toys and also looked like it had a nice little selection, as well. The store looked clean and organized, and it was easy to locate each section as we worked our way around the store. There is plentiful parking available in the shopping center lot. read more

Trying to return something is a nightmare. Every time I have come to return something - with the original receipt, within 30 days of purchase, item brand new with all the tags still on - it has been an absolutely atrocious experience. read more

This place has a great selection and FANTASTIC prices. We bought some kids toys and phone accessories there for really good prices. Everything seemed well-organized and there were a lot of options for clothes, toys, shoes, etc. Customer service was great too. The lady at the counter was very nice and quick! read more

I can't say this is my favorite location.... however, I'm not their target consumer. This location is near OSU campus, and I am well above college age.... so, I am not into all the OSU gear or their other offerings. They don't have much plus size clothes, which is a shame because there are college aged people who are. They seemed to have a decent makeup selection and a good variety of other beauty needs, which is a plus. This just isn't the location for me. read more

I'm a true maxxinista and in every day language that means I love discount stores that offer name brand products at a reasonable price. This also means that I'm also a major fan of Marshalls, which is in the same family as TJ Maxx. This Marshalls is a quick drive up the street at Lennox Center and it fits in perfectly with World Market, Target, Old Navy, etc. I really enjoy being able to bounce around to a few different spots here and Marshall's is always top on my list. It's a pretty good size and has everything you expect to find. I always work around the store in a circle, starting with shoes. Then I move to bags, bath products, luggage, household items like kitchen utensils, lamps, and even bedding. Once I get through all of that I dive into the clothing. There's always an enormous selection. While yes, it can take some time to go through, I almost always find something I just gotta have! To top if all off, everyone here is nice and they keep the place pretty clean. I've seen a large amount of Marshalls all around the country and this one is definitely clean and organized. read more

Marshalls is a great store for getting name-brand clothing for a reasonable price. I always have to stop into a Marshalls or their sister store, TJ Maxx, whenever I see one. Fortunately, a Marshalls opened toward the end of 2017 in Lennox Town Center, which is within walking distance for me! This specific location seems larger than other Marshalls I've been to, and they have all the major sections - Men's, Women's and Children's clothing, plus smaller sections for Shoes, Luggage, and Beauty. Overall, this location is definitely aimed toward Women; the Men's section is surprisingly small. I estimate that the Men's clothing section is maybe 10% of the total floor space, and even the Shoes section has a very small selection of Men's shoes compared to Women's. The employees here are really friendly. At least one employee has asked if I needed any help every time I've been here, and there are always lots of them walking around restocking or cleaning up. read more

The active and fit items were not stocked properly as the entire shelf fell on my boyfriend as I went to go lift a weight from the bottom of the shelf and that weight I guess was holding everything down because the minute I lifted it, the whole shelf fell on him fracturing his wrist and foot as a weight rolled off the shelf crushing his foot. Not safe at all and no one offered to help as the employees just started restocking the shelf with the items that fell. read more

I purchased a candle at Marshalls in Gahanna, Oh and I used it and it would not stay lite and I could not smell it after a short usage. I took it back to the store for a return or an exchange and the manager (a guy, Mgr) said he would return or exchange because it was used and are not a guranteed return store. DO NOT ever purchased candles at Marshall's ever because they are obviously no good and you don't want to get stuck with a candle that doesn't work or have a scent to it! I am Not a happy customer, as a result. I was going to also purchase more items and decided not to do that either because I'm disappointed in Marshall's and I will not be back! read more

Over half of the items on the $13 rack Would not ring up as $13 when taken to the register. Manager blamed it on customers placing them back on the wrong rack. However all the items were in the correct size category. This looks like a bait and switch. This manager refused to sell the item on the wreck for $13. read more

Pretty ridiculous.. asked the employee to open one box so I could see if it was Rae Dunn. She refused to open it and went and talked to about 3 people and then came back and told me it was store policy to go in order on the tank. I've spent over 5 grand with TJ, HG, &Marshalls in 4 months and shopped at numerous stores and have never been told that. She also knew I was getting married and that her taking 30 seconds to open a box versus making me wait until she cleared the whole tank was going to make me late for my final dress fitting. She could have cared leas. I've sat here for 20 mins now and still waiting. She could care less about customers and has zero compassion. read more

I typically love every Marshall's I visit, but this location is not it. Sadly, the selection wasn't as good as other stores; however, the thing that ruined my experience was the rude attitude from the woman running the dressing rooms. I had a few clothes that I was excited to try on, so I approached the woman standing at the desk. She was focused on her phone and didn't look up when I said hello. So, I kindly asked if I could go in - to which she replied by rolling her eyes and scoffing "yeah?" I was very surprised by her response, but I brushed it off. Well, I ended up needing to go back in because I left my umbrella in the room. When I asked her if I could go in, she again rolled her eyes, acted like I was annoying her, and gave me a curt reply. I let the first interaction slide, but I immediately left after grabbing my umbrella. I understand that we all have bad days, but there's no need to take it out on innocent customers. There are better Marshall's locations with friendlier staff. I will not be returning. read more

The worst Marshall's I've ever been to. The associate don't speak to you and when they do, they have an attitude as it if they are being forced to speak. The girl who checked me out today didn't say hello and I barely heard what the total amount of purchased was. She didn't say thank you or nothing. Also the products and merchandise are a hit and miss. Id rather go Ross or TJMax. read more

Visited the store when my husband was at OSU for surgery. This was around 8p after visiting hours. The store was nice and cashier was extremely pleasant. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that I couldn't even get back to my car without being confronted by a man wanting money. Very unnerving for a woman alone that's not used to the surroundings. read more

Me and my family went in just to use up some time and my sister was looking for a mirror. while by the dressing rooms we were looking at a box, one of those that opens like a book and is magnetic so you can see what's inside, and while doing that we were yelled at by the dressing room associate saying i was infecting everything with covid, i am fully vaccinated and do not have covid, and that i couldn't open boxes, said box was how i described earlier in the review, and she then kept yelling at me that i needed to buy it now and i infected it with covid. this came from the dressing room associate at 8:30 on december 29th at the marshalls on olentangy river road. i worked with one of marshall's partner companies and i signed papers saying i would never talk to customers like that woman talked to me and my sister. lucky i didn't ask for a manager and her name immediately. i hope the store reads this and does something about their shitty customer service. read more
