The cashier came back and told me no, that I have to take it to the location where I bought it. I felt discriminated against. Not a good feeling. Never gone thru this at any other Ross location. However, the amount of traffic wasn't conducive to their attempt to get the entire venue cleaned up. I was able to find some hand soaps. They do have an extensive selections of them, organic and inorganic. Choices were many. They were pretty fully-stocked for the holidays. I found a couple of Kenneth Cole Reaction man's messenger bags, but their conditions were a bit shabby. I would say make sure you check all the buckles, pockets, interiors, and exteriors before making your purchases. The same principle apply on clothing, food, accessories, and miscellaneous items. Like I've said in my other reviews, I like discount stores like Marshall's, but you need to take time going through all departments; don't expect speedy shopping to be done here.

Anyways, he was growing impatient although I was apologizing over and over again while on the phone with customer service. My kohls card stopped working so I got on the phone with customer service and again... huffing and puffing. Customer service finally told me that my card was available for usage and all problems were resolved but somehow my card, with a balance of more than 500, was still "declining" in which the cashier was saying so loud, but it's okay, anyways he kept saying my card was declining although I had not inserted, tapped, or even enter my phone number.

Well needless to say this Target didn't live up to its expectations w/the location (replacing an iconic store) & the huge corner advertising the new tenants When I went I like many others I thought that this Target was going to be a huge 2 story superstore especially w/the iconic location & the prominent Target sign on the corner. Much to my surprise it's a small format store not a mega store. This store has a parking lot on the north end under the building to the north. It's very clean & nicely stocked but very limited in size & options. To say it was anticlimactic is an understatement. There is a huge housing of apartments that are above and around the Target named "6 Corners Lofts. All in all it's a nice add since we needed another Target (NOT). Well I guess they had to put something there & it's better than an empty lot.

On the one hand, while I can understand not all stores can stock every single item. Heck, I've seen a Target in TX that had a full-on Deli and Bakery department! My complaint is how tight this store is. The aisles, and even the parking lot were just about the narrowest I've ever seen. If someone is looking for an item, there's a lot of waiting that has to take place. Traffic jams... welcome to Chicago? I can't speak for the staff, as I didn't have a chance to interact with anyone. I was able to get my items, pay, and leave without incident. Half of the self-checkouts were closed, but as it wasn't very busy, the wait was minimal. OUTSIDE, at an OPEN GATE on the side of the apartment bldg. where ANYONE could walk up and take it, which they did. Closing the gate for the picture was supposed to make me NOT KNOW that it stays open 24/7. A refund is fine, but WTH do you think I ordered the stuff if I didn't want it? This person s/b FIRED. I know you need your job, but then you should READ. The delivery instructions were clear.
