I recently visited the Marshalls Lindbergh, Atlanta location to browse their sale sections in plus size women's clothing and kids' clothing and was pleasantly surprised. I typically do not find anything for myself in the plus size section at Marshalls stores and find pricing to be a bit high even on the discounted items, I found a pair of Kasper dress slacks marked down pretty reasonable considering comparable retail price at other retailers and they fit great (no tailoring needed). The dressing room attendant was friendly & I appreciated the spacious area for try ons. They even had family rooms to use for trying on with your little ones. I was also able to grab a few boy clothing items for my son and truly liked the selection offered for his size. They had cute matching sets and separates for kids up to size 14 and a good clearance variety. At the time I saw brands Nike, Adidas & Champion in this section along with others. My hubby did not find much that he liked in the men's clothing section or pets area (i.e. dog treats). Sales tax is currently higher in this area than in other parts of Atlanta/Metro Atlanta (8.9%), but overall I was content with my experience. read more

I stopped by this Marshall's recently in search of a planter. I live in MD and have been able to find awesome planters of all sizes and colors (with attached drainage) for very reasonable prices. I was looking for a planter that would accomodate a plant in a 10in diameter pot. While this Marshall's did have a decent array of planters, none of them was big enough to be suitable for the plant I'd recently bought. read more

Just left cart full of clothes and products in the middle of the store and walked out. Dressing rooms were blocked off at 11 am. I asked if the dressing rooms would be open today- the girl said she'd go ask. I could hear her and the manager speaking loudly. Manager said with an attitude "if you wanna let them in" and that was that. girl came back to me and said "sorry they're not going to open till 1:30 today." I walked out. im a loyal customer to this store but I won't come back- this place is trash. They treat people like an inconvenience. Just another example of ATL "customer service." read more

I came here looking for my favorite conditioner that I can usually only find here and not at their other stores like TJmax or Homegoods. Upon walking in, I quickly see that they are poorly organized and stocked. I was further dismayed to not see the conditioner amongst the many other hair products. But I did find some cut eyelashes for a good deal instead. Check-out was a breeze though so my visit was as short as I wanted it to be. I had a terrible experience at this store. I went to return a couple of items and shop for clothes for an upcoming vacation. When I walked in I went immediately to the long line at the the counter to return my 2 items - The person was obviously having a bad day. He was rude and seemed angry at the world. I however continued my shopping and had several outfits picked out to try on. There was no attendant so I just walked in with my clothes to try on. I'd been in there for a few minutes when I heard someone very rudely tell me that the dressing rooms were closed and I would have to leave! I was so shocked! There was no sign on the door saying "closed" and this person made me feel horrible. She acted very frustrated and mad with me. This particular Marshall's needs a total make-over! Visited 8/11/19 What is a great ending to a Birthday Weekend for a Shopaholic? Shopping! Duh! Who doesn't love Marshall's? I would love it even more if it was more clean and organized. But I understand that it is the Eve of the First Day of School for man Major School Districts. However the Store was not packed with people and I can appreciate that. The store and merchandise were good, but I don't appreciate the cashiers deceitful sorceress slick ways of conning customers into applying for credit cards. I was asked by the cashier at checkout if I wanted to join a rewards program to get savings, but instead it was fast talk to apply for a store credit card, which I would have never consented too. I called the woman out after she told me I had been denied and she acted like she was open and upfront from the start. I should have complained to management as I was pissed. Luckily through Experian I had previously locked my credit report (hence the denial), but just woke up to an inquiry from Transunion. I'm mad all over again!!!! read more

I've been to many a Marshalls, and I must say that this one of my least favorite locations. First off, I must mention that I have seen random trash (i.e. coffee cups and food wrappers) tucked among the shelves on multiple occasions. While the customer is the rude one for doing the littering, it's sad that the staff doesn't keep better tabs on the cleanliness. The dressing rooms are located in the middle of the store which makes for a floor plan that I have not seen in any of the other Marshalls stores. It makes the store seem much smaller than it probably is. The clothing is situated on racks around the dressing rooms with men's clothing on one side, women's clothing on the other. I typically think of Marshalls a great place to come for affordable clothing, but the clothing selection here is much smaller than the nearby location on Peachtree Road in Buckhead. The athletic and "older woman" apparel is usually in abundance toward the front of the store, but the junior and contemporary clothing is pretty pared down. It's safe to say that there is a ratio of 1 rack of dresses to 3 racks of workout tops. I was even more disappointed when I came in during the holiday season to find that the limited clothing selection had dwindled down even more to accommodate an added section of eclectic holiday "junk" and furniture. Not helpful when I'm shopping for holiday party apparel. The back wall of the store is devoted to home decor and gifts. There's usually a large selection back here, but it is more of a chaotic treasure hunt than an organized and navigable area. There are random cans of nuts mixed in with the stationary, and coffee mugs situated beside the pet accessories. If I'm looking for these gifty home items, I'm definitely just going to go to the HomeGoods located just a few stores down in the same shopping center. The beauty section is set up in much the same way - disorganized and treasure hunt inducing. I must say I've found some cute little nail polish sets in here, but I certainly had to do some digging. The only reason I go here is for the convenience during desperate times, but I would never recommend that a friend or even a stranger come here for a good shopping experience. read more

I'm just not a fan of Marshall's/Ross/TJMaxx's It seems as if these last seasons styles are just not made for plus size women, or maybe all the real plus size women know what day to go in and shop. Mostly, I have two things going against me when I hit up these discounters, I'm tall and I'm plus size, so even if I am able to find something that fits, the lenght is normally to short. For this to be the Buckhead Marshall's I've never gone in and been overly impressed with clothing that I find at this location, but I do find some treasures in the homewares and children's items. I recently went looking for sleepwear and was shocked that even on the clearance rack at Marshall's nice sleepwear was still marked at $25+. I would think that would be a starting point. Its always busy, but they seem to mange the lines for check out well. Well, that is if its any time other than a holiday or Sunday right at closing time. While we were shopping, an employee started making a long and insulting announcement over the PA system basically saying "We totally see you about to attempt to shoplift, and we're recording all the evidence on our many security cameras, and we will have you arrested and sent to federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison if you don't put that back RIGHT NOW". Certainly it wasn't intended for us, or for most of the customers, but what's so hard about being discreet? This announcement was appallingly tacky. We left without buying anything. read more

It's Marshalls. That would seem to say it all, but in Buckhead there needs to be more. Mainly, this: We've been paying how much for cute women's clothing in Buckhead? And we could have come here and paid what? Holy... umm.... holy low prices! For a small-in-stature guy like myself, there is not much to be found in the men's department. For my wife, this is like a treasure hunt. It's a discount store, so things are not available in all sizes and not everything is cut just so, etc., but there are enough great things in here that we always leave with something cute in our hands and a big question mark over my head as to why we ever shopped at the mall. read more

When I lived in Atlanta, I enjoyed walking in here for a quick minute. I always spotted something real quick for my kitchen or bathroom. Marshall was my shop for kitchen supplies. Every since I first started shopping at Marshalls I been more than satisfied. Name brand stuff at cheap prices,can't beat that with a Louisville slugger. Yesterday was a prime example of this when I took a chance and went to south dekalb mall for shoes and only got jacked up 120 dollar prices...So on to Lindbergh. I love Marshall's!!!! I always find good deals here although not every single time that I walk in. I had been going to Marshall's for quite some time although I became a true devotee last winter when I found a really nice Calvin Klein leather jacket for next to nothing. I need to buy a lot of nice clothes for my job and it's always easy to find nice dress shirts and pants in here. It's not unusual for me to find a Nautica or a Ralph Lauren dress shirt for $30-$50 less than what it would be in "the mall". I also found a nice pair of Dr. Martens in Marshall's (not this particular store though) for $30. I went home and looked on the Dr. Martens website and they were $90 on there!!,LOL. I can't say too much about the staff since I havent had much interaction with them other than when I am paying for items although they are usually pretty friendly. I have also notice that some Marshall's in certain parts of the Metro Atlanta area have better stuff than ones in other locations but I am keeping that information to myself:) I'm a big fan of Marshall's and if your not shopping here, you should be:) read more

The buckhead location has the best selection of merchandise, but just as the others-not friendly or helpful staff.

In the metro ATL area, THIS is the BEST Marshall's, and the one up the road a piece on Peachtree is the worst. I'm basing this on the consistently very high quality and high end merchandise in both men's and women's shoes (Louboutins? yes, really), and the menswear department. Consistency is the key word, and this location has not failed yet with ultra designer names and a good selection on most visits. This seems to be the "flagship" store in the area in terms of the nicest pieces. That's all I'm saying. I've already said way too much. Can't have all of you good people lessening my picks! Disclaimer: they were going under contruction while I was there. Their fitting rooms were 1 roomed rooms with a curtain to cover. Little werid. Mabye after construction I can return with a better assesment b/c I normally love shopping at Marhsalls - but this one just didn't do it for me. Store was kind of messy - but again, that can be because of the rearranging they are doing due to construction. The one thing I can't blame on construction is service. I was next in line so I went to the next available cashier and there were about 4 workers behind the counter. Each working on put backs or something, but all talking to one another and then another employee walks up to the counter to show everyone some product. Not once did they acknowledge my presence until I got their attention. Hopefully, after the construction this will be a better place to shop. Don't know if they can change the worker's attitudes though. read more

always go here for shopping never had a bad experienc. i found an item i liked, the threads were loose and some of the stitching was coming undone still decided to take because i was looking for that item since a month ago. i head out another and come back for more shopping. i find the item i bought hidden and it's in better condition. I take it for an exchange. the cashier ask why i'm exchanging it i saw loose threads. she gets mad and says the the stupidest reason out loud in front of other customers. that was embarrassing i was with my mom to and she was confused about what happened. she left us at the reigesyer and we had a cart of clothes we were going to buy. worst experience ever. nobody should be treated like that. read more

I have been to this Marshall's many times with varying degrees of success at finding something I liked. But, I generally do like this store. On my last visit, I paid particular attention to everything as a good Yelper should. The store was very neatly organized. It is a Marshalls so there is a ton of stuff crammed in there for you to sort through but it was generally very neat. I actually found several summery tops that I liked, a new sun hat and a few very pretty, high-quality beach towels. All were at excellent prices. I had to go into the fitting rooms to try on my tops and I sort of interrupted the attendant as she was having a sip of her bottled Coke. She was very apologetic and I told her it was OK and she was adamant that she should not have been drinking the Coke because that is not allowed. It was as if someone had recently instilled a fear into this poor woman that she would be publicly humiliated if caught with a Coke on the job. (But, I can see how this would happen because, as I was shopping, I was privy to the management "pep talk" to the employees which basically sounded like the management was telling everyone how many things they did wrong and how they should learn to want to do things right and how everyone else who used to work there did things better. I can see how the poor woman would be a little bummed out and fearful of more of this pep-talkery. I was in the store right after it opened that day which is why I think I had the benefit of hearing the pep talk but, still, I think they should do it somewhere that customers can't hear). Anyway, the fitting room attendant was very nice about holding my sun hat and beach towels while I tried on my other stuff. I did notice, however, that the fitting rooms seemed a little messy which was quite different from the rest of the store. I found a few things, had an easy check out process, paid very little, and was in and out of here in a short amount of time. Despite the few annoying things, I will definitely return here especially if I can go again on a weekday morning when I pretty much have the whole store to myself and can get a super up-front parking space. read more

Love this location. Always clean and organized. Never too crazy busy. They have a good variation from clothes to home goods. I especially like that they have XS and S versions of their clothing selection, which tend to be harder to find in other locations. Bathroom is always clean. Staff is helpful and nice. Parking is also a plus since there's ample space even on the weekends. Lastly, it's awesome that it's right next to Ross, Home Goods, and Michael's. Super convenient! read more

This Marshall's had everything! A fantastic shoe department and a wonderful home decor section. The checkout line was sooo long because they only had 2 people working. It erked me that the manager was just standing there watching the cashiers work and he wasn't doing anything. Being a manager, he should have jumped in and started checking people out. Really disappointed in the Buckhead Crossing Marshalls in Atlanta, GA. They wouldn't price-match their OWN store 1.3 miles away on the same exact shoes! One location did not have my shoe size, so I drove to the other hoping for the same great deal only to find I had to pay an extra $10+ for the same shoe. Spoke to the manager and got no where. He acted like I wasn't worth his time. This was near closing time and there was 1 other person in line to check out... Pretty bad customer experience for me seeing that I'm such a loyal customer. I have never had a problem with this location. I find their staff to be very nice. Especially the ladies that I have encountered at the fitting room. They have a nice selection of clothing. My boyfriend especially likes the Calvin Klein selection here. Though the name brand racks can be a bit disorganized. The rack label says one thing, but then the items on the rack are actually another. Great selection of bath towels. My mom's favorite place to buy bath towels. read more

I hateeeee this location. I really do. It seems like I never have a good experience here. Once I was returning a night stand and they said I painted it and didn't want to return it..... Really ? I PAINTED IT? I went to the back and got the exact same one that's the same color, showed it to the manger and they returned it. Do you think the apologized ? Hellllllll no. Another time I was returning a luggage I didn't need (the same day I bought it). With all the tags and stickers still attached they said it looked like I used it. I blew up on them and they gave me my money back. When I came in the other day I just wanted a gift card.... Can't be that hard right ? Wrong ! There was 2 cashiers and after about 30 people were in line (not even exaggerating) she called for backup cashiers to come to the front. You think they came? Nope. 15min later she called again and 2 people showed up. This place sucks w/ a capital S ! Think I'm giving up on this location. 1 star & I wish I could give them less. read more

This store is always extremely disorganized. Nothing is organized and the same items are strewn about in random piles all over the place. Markdowns are not frequent and the shoes are mostly the same even after a month. Nothing too unusual for a discount store. It's also not subtle how impolite the staff is. Employees walking through aisles were pretty rude and the checkout woman seemed to really want me know how much she hated her job. She walked away before I finished signing the receipt so I had to just leave it there for her. read more
