Honestly the best bang for your buck. Was traveling on a 2 week vacation needed our clothes done for the last half of our trip. Dropped them off around 9:30am asked when we needed them back told him whenever he could do it. Told us to come back at 5:30pm. Picked up our clothes and they were dry and fresh. Laundry returned with giant holes in fabrics. I have used Marshall Laundry on prior trips to London with no complaint - easy to drop the laundry off and pick it up later the same day. This time however, when I opened up my bag of clean clothes, much to my dismay I discovered several massive holes ripped into three garments. Not tiny little pinpricks but holes the size of a human fist. I went back and at first the manager insisted that those holes could not have happened in his machines. By the end, I received my money back for the load of laundry, but it is definitely less than what I will need to spend to replace those items. So unless your clothes are made of indestructible materials, I would stay away. read more

I needed a place that had wash and fold service. I always try to find one ahead of time so I can travel with carry-on luggage only. This place is near Piccadilly circus. It provided exactly what I needed, they can have the clothes ready by the next day (not sure if they have same day service). Whatever detergent they use didn't damage my clothes, but don't think they used fabric softener (not a big deal). It cost about 10 pounds and they do a nice job. DO NOT GO HERE. Needed laundry done while on vacation in London, so tried this place. They washed everything together with hot water. Not only did the colors all bleed into one another, all the colors were dulled and washed out when we picked them up. The machines were also clearly rough on the clothes. This place literally ruined every nice piece of clothing in our wardrobe. I would choose to rewear clothes or wait it out rather than use this place to wash and dry your clothes. Traveling for more than a few days to London? I prefer to pack light with 3-4 days worth of clothes and find a local laundry to keep me presentable. Hotel laundry services are just silly expensive. I turned to Yelp and found Marshall laundry. Marshall is simple and straightforward. Bring them a bag of clothes, ask for a service wash, and come back in 3 hours. There are plenty of things to do in the shopping and eating area of Oxford circus. I paid 10 pounds sterling for my entire suitcase. That's less than what I would paid for a couple of items at my hotel. Clothes were clean and folded nicely. Too easy. read more

I compared the pile of dirty clothes in front of me to the price list of laundry at Le Meridien and figured out that it would cost me £200 to do everything. I don't care if I'm supposed to be a big adult grown up person who wears a suit to work every day now. I'm not spending £200 on laundry. That shits crazy. Instead I walked about 5 minutes up to Marshall Laundry, dropped my bag off, and had everything cleaned and ready to go for £9. Amazing. The only problem is their hours. Closed on Sunday, only open until uhh 6 or 7 on weekdays, and until like 2 or 3pm on Saturday. Damn, I'm useless. I don't remember their hours, but I know that you have to be diligent if you want to drop your clothes off here. The good news is that if you drop them off Saturday morning they will have them ready for you in a few hours. read more

We decided to "gamble", if you will, by deciding that we were not going to pack 12 days worth of clothes on our trip to London and Paris. We were going to do laundry in London and then off to Paris we would go. I found Marshall Laundry on the internet, Google Maps and Review to be exact and this place did not disappoint. For the two of us, the bill came out to be a very reasonable £8 for 4 days worth of clothes for fluff and fold [we didn't want to spend our time waiting in a launderette or spend £8 to have the hotel wash a pair of jeans]. Dropped it off at 9:30AM and were able to pick up at 12:45PM. It did have a relatively strong scent of detergent when we got it back, but it was clean. And it smelled clean. We would do this again next time to take a long trip to London. Great service and great value. read more

We've been here 2 times already during our trip to London as we packed light. Laundry was brought in the morning and picked up before they closed on the same day. I brought my own detergent as I'm sensitive to certain brands and they used it. Clothes returned cleaned and folded nicely. Happy customer ! read more

I just moved to London and maybe I am not used to the services here, but this was definitely the worst laundry experience I had. Staff: the employees are really arrogant (this was actually the deal breaker that made me write this review - I'm usually able to forget a bad quality service if the people are nice). Wash&Fold: the service was just terrible. The clothes aren't properly folded (they simply folded them in half twice) and even my newest clothing seem that they were wore for years, they kind of lost they're colors. Wash&Iron: my shirts were ok overall, but they did a lousy job with the collars. All this being said, I really don't understand the positive reviews. It's relatively inexpensive but the quality is terrible, so it's definitely not worth the money. read more

Read all the reviews and figured this would be a perfect chance for us to get a load of laundry done while we did some sightseeing and we were met with an unpleasant employee who said it was 28 pound sterling for 1 load of laundry (small basket!) Gave me a scoff when I said that was a bit more than I had read previously about this location. Won't be going here ever again!! For 10 pounds, our mixed load (whites & colors) provided the two of us with a refresh for about 4 days worth of "essentials." The location is near the busy Oxford Circus Tube station, about a block from the Liberty of London dept. store. Horribly expensive and unfriendly staff. Our experience yesterday left me cold when it comes to service, honesty and value for money. We were charged 30 pounds for a small pile of washing that would easily fit into a single load in my washing machine at home. I informed the lady that it could all go in the same load where she promptly told me that it will need two machines to separate the colours etc. A marvellous observation from someone who hadn't laid eyes on the content of out opaque bags! It was actually all colours and i was happy for them to go in the one load which I would have done at home. I was flabbergasted. I quizzed her again on the price saying that the last time we were here a year ago it cost us 10 pound for the same volume of washing. Then she said it might need 3 machines and the cost is 30 pounds. Feeling uncomfortable, and like I was being ripped off, but needing the washing done, I agreed and paid. Very convenient and economical for travelers trying to pack lightly. We dropped off a bagful of clothes in the morning, asked for a "service wash" with all clothes washed together (whites and colors), went and spent the day at the British Museum, and picked up our clean clothes (about four days worth for three people) in the afternoon ... Only cost 10 pounds. It's located a few minutes walk from the Underground and the British Museum so is convenient for tourists. It sure saved us as we are on a two-week trip to Rome and London, were running out of clean clothes and thought we would have an easier time finding a laundromat. Marshalls is the first reasonably priced place we've found ... Really helped make our stay more enjoyable. read more

There is a reason why they are cheap - it's because their service is poor. My clothes smelt bad after they "washed it". Avoid at all costs.

In Soho for work and needed a place to laundry. Prices at the hotel are so expensive I could almost buy new clothes! For 10 pounds I had one (mixed colors) load done. Had to do it on a Saturday and they have shorter hours (closed Sunday) so be sure you check. Today (Saturday) they were open 8-2. I took my clothes in a 8:30 and they were done by 1pm. They were all folded, but just in half so don't expect anything fancy. The staff isn't friendly but they aren't rude either. Anyway, it was easy for me. read more

FABULOUS! We were staying in an exclusive hotel in Mayfair who wanted to charge between £10-18 to wash (not dry clean) each item of our clothing. After 3 weeks touring around without washing facilities we had 77 items of clothing in desperate need of a good clean. I worked out I'd have to work a couple of weeks just to earn enough to cover the cost of my washing so decided to look further afield for a (dreaded) laundromat. When I discovered Marshall Laundry and read the reviews I thought I'd give it a go. I was charged £10 per bag for a bag wash (I had 4 bags) so it worked out much cheaper and was only a 5 minute walk from my hotel. We dropped our clothes off at 4pm yesterday and they were ready for us at 10am this morning. I've just checked all the clothes and everything is there and stains I'd given up on are magically gone (even though I didn't bother telling him about the stains). No disasters or shrunken clothes my delicate lingerie items which I took a big risk with are all fine. I couldn't be happier and would recommend Marshall Laundry to any traveller needing their clothes washed. read more
