I give 5 stars to the doctor Michelle Throp, she was very nice and honest. But for the office I give 3 stars. One of the staff turned away a patient because he wouldn't pull his mask up over his nose. He told her I can't breathe and was elderly. The lady was so mean and rude to him, it's was really hard to watch. They are low staffed on doctors and the appointments are weeks to months out. For a major medical company in Placerville like Marshall medical. The prices are really high compared to other places like Costco, ect. read more

This is a review for Robert Chase, MD. I saw him yesterday. From the start of the visit with the folks at the front desk to the initial intake by the medical assistant to the very kind and thorough evaluation by Dr. Chase I was really happily surprised at the consistent professional and kind presence in the office. Dr. Chase was cordial, relaxed, organized in his thinking and sharing of medical information with me, considerate of my questions and unhurried. He gave me a thorough evaluation and recommended I be seen by another specialist and he offered to set up the referral. He also washed his hands when he came in, a practice so many doctors and medical staff have given up when they started using gloves. I wish all my medical contacts could be like this one. Thank you. Dr. Chase has a great "bedside manner" -- very personable and caring. His assistant Nanette is great, too. Strongest recommendation.

Referred here by the VA, and I'm glad I am because the service is wonderful. They always take their time and explain what is going on and when They found my old VA hearing aids were 10 years old, they ordered me a brand-new pair and did all the VA paperwork. And on top of that, the approval and the new hearing aids came back very quick. I am so happy that I can go to the Private doctor instead of the VA. This review is for dr. Robert chase, he is the kindest doctor I think I've ever met, from the minute he showed up in the E.R. I knew my 16 month old was going to be in great hands. My daughter fell of a little kid chair and her teeth went through her lip, you could see the tissue and muscle. The E.r. Doctor wasn't comfortable stitching my daughter since the split was so bad, dr. Chase cleared his schedule and rushed in to save my little girl. When the nurses asked how long it would take he replied "as long as it takes to get it right" he never rushed and did a beautiful job. Today we had a follow up visit with dr.chase and he was as lovely and personable as in the E.R., he obviously loves children and seems very knowledgeable, I also asked him to check my daughters ears since she had past trouble with them (most doctors make you wait for a separate apt so they get paid) dr.chase obliged and spent over an hour between explaining the healing process of my daughters lip and how to get the build up out of my daughters ears. I would highly recommend dr.chase whether you have a procedure on your face or if you need an e.n.t, he seems very capable in both areas. read more

If you can get in, you might have good service. My daughter, who was visiting from college was referred to them by the Emergency Room Doctor. However, when I called, they refused to see her because she did not have a referral from her primary care doctor (who is near her college). The lady on the phone. while perky and friendly, had absolutely no interest in assisting us. As a mother, it is frustrating to see your child in severe pain, finally need to go to ER, and then not be able to follow the instructions of the ER doctor. The fact that the ER Doctor put this follow-up on our After Visit Instructions, with this Dr.'s Name simply was not good enough. read more

They understand that I work well with new technology and have helped me stay at the forefront of the latest hearing aid solutions while helping me understand which solutions best address my hearing loss. Currently, I am "breaking in" a pair of Oticon OPNs that have really made a difference in my ability to hear in difficult circumstances (e.g. noisy restaurants & facilitating large meetings). Especially exciting is the fact that the OPNs can be paired with my iPhone and work with an iPhone app that allows me to adjust them to various situations discretely without even touching the hearing aids. So far, this is the next best thing to hearing like I did in my 40s. read more

I have been going to Marshall ENT & Hearing Center for a couple years now. My first visit was for a hearing test and I ended up getting hearing aids from the damage I incurred while serving in the military. Back when I served it wasn't manly to wear ear protection while firing all types of weapons and lobbing grenades. Unfortunately I sustained high frequency hearing loss. Marshall Hearing Center did an amazing job of doing everything I needed to do to get my hearing aids. I remember the first time putting the hearing aids in as tears of joy filled my eyes because I could hear everything! Yesterday I visited Dr. Robert Chase for my sinus issues. I was amazed at the amount of time Dr. Chase spent with me, and how thorough and genuine he is. What a great experience from checkin at the front desk with the friendly staff, then the nurse taking me into the exam room, and finally getting answers from Dr. Chase. Very professional staff and very friendly and enthusiastic at the same time. Quite knowledgeable about their products. They contacted my insurance for me and dealt with them. That was very helpful. I am a first time customer to Marshall ENT and was recommended for the service of receiving hearing aids by The VA. I went for testing and one visit after to receive my new hearing aids. What an efficient staff. Front desk people made me feel welcome, and Michelle who tested me and trained me on how to use my new aids was fantastic. I am now officially retired and am considered part of the older society. Michelle took the time I needed to feel comfortable with my new hearing devices. Just got my OTICON OPN hearing aids and my life has changed! I can hear, I can hear, I can EVERYTHING! I haven't heard crickets in decades, they are a beautiful thing.
