My wife has migraine headaches and came here for physical therapy in El Dorado Hills to relieve symptoms. The actual session went good, however how Fitzpatrick's does business is what bothers me. While I was waiting in the reception area, during my wife's treatment, the receptionist was busy making personal calls to her husband, friend, daughter to make arrangements to drive her daughter home - I understand the need to do this, but it should be done out of customer earshot.
My wife had an additional appointment the following monday, she was called in the late morning that the therapist was sick and they needed to reschedule Wednesday, no problem, everyone gets sick. My wife gets to her appointment on Wednesday and is promptly told that if she misses sessions she needs to give 24 hour notice (wait - weren't you the ones who cancelled and rescheduled?)
It was decided that my wife needed a tens unit to help relax the muscles in her neck. This was on order, the therapist asked where my wife would like the unit sent and we told her to our house. We get a call about a week later. The unit is in their office in Placerviille. ???? We live a 1/2 hour away, and the local office is 10 minutes away. I make arrangements to come up to Placerville, before their office closes at 6pm. We are told no one will be there after 6. I get there at 5:30 and there is no one around, office is locked and nothing. My wife calls them but there is only the voicemail. I call at 8:30 the next morning and Sarah (the placerville receptionist) answers and says, "oh yeah, I am so sorry, we had an emergency, we will have someone come down this afternoon to the el dorado hills clinic and drop off the unit." I ask since I have been driving all over and still don't have the unit - could you drop off at my house? No we don't have time to do that - OK, I guess I have time to drive back and forth from placerville for no reason.
For the care they provide which is OK, the customer service is horrible and not worth the ordeal. You can get better value in El Dorado Hills and Placerville somewhere else read more
