One of the staff turned away a patient because he wouldn't pull his mask up over his nose. He told her I can't breathe and was elderly. The lady was so mean and rude to him, it's was really hard to watch. They are low staffed on doctors and the appointments are weeks to months out. For a major medical company in Placerville like Marshall medical. The prices are really high compared to other places like Costco, ect.

Dr. Chase was cordial, relaxed, organized in his thinking and sharing of medical information with me, considerate of my questions and unhurried. He gave me a thorough evaluation and recommended I be seen by another specialist and he offered to set up the referral. He also washed his hands when he came in, a practice so many doctors and medical staff have given up when they started using gloves. I wish all my medical contacts could be like this one. Thank you. Chronic childhood ear infections and a benign left ear tumor left me pretty much without hearing. My surgical otolaryngologist back then had said there was little chance of restoring hearing in the ear. Fast forward to current times. My PCP recommended I go to a Costco Hearing Aid Center for a hearing aid evaluation. I admit I was a bit skeptical because I had preconceived thoughts about purchasing hearing aids at Costco. Was not on my radar. She said many of her patients purchase hearing aids at Costco and are very satisfied with the quality, price point, and after purchase support. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, I made that appointment. My Costco technician, Judy, was wonderful. She explained that a complementary hearing test was the first step in the process. During the hearing evaluation, she explained all aspects of the testing. Following completion, she said she felt hearing aid devices would definitely enhance hearing in my left ear as well as right ear. I was doubtful. When she fitted the devices in my ears, I could hear! That was quite the moment. She even had me leave the office and walk around the store. All I can say... what a miracle! Needless to say, I left with a brand new pair of Rexton hearing aids and to date, I am still in awe every morning when I put them in my ears! These are not your parents' hearing aids! There are no changing batteries but rather charging them nightly. So easy. Costco technicians receive no monetary incentive for selling the hearing aids. I feel that is the main message I want to emphasize. Their only goal is to get the client fitted with the best pair of hearing aids possible based upon the client's hearing test. Without any hesitation, I recommend this hearing aid location for your hearing aid needs and follow-up support. I am going on 3 years with my devices and loving every day. The Rexton app is a game changer, too! Sincere thanks to all the hard-working Costco Hearing Aid Center employees for everything they have collectively done for me in my pursuit of better hearing. After nearly every OB appointment with the hospital system, Kate would provide me with more facts, answer the dozens of questions I usually had, and inform me of my options which ultimately helped me make the best decisions for myself and my baby. Throughout pregnancy and labor, Kate's knowledge helped me feel confident with every decision I made - she even guided my husband through parts of labor to help him understand some of the last minute details. I saw Dr. Kortebein and I have never felt more seen or heard by anybody in my entire life. He listened patiently to every detail I wanted to give him, went over my MRI in depth, and developed and changed treatment plans several times based on my comfort and needs without any judgement or pressure, validating my thoughts on everything. He did not rush my questions about the injection and I felt he would've taken as much time as it took for me to get the answers I needed. I asked him if I could see him for my other pain with my fibro and he welcomed me back to talk anytime to help my neck pain. There was something so healing to have someone validate your pain who obviously knows and sees pain daily and understands how it effects the whole mind and body. Saw another doctor who is doing a branch block and then an an ablation. I'm told that's a very common option for back issues. Glad to have nothing further with this business. I also could relate to several of the other complaints I reviewed.
