**Custom Ear Plug/Protection Appointment Review** I just had my custom ear protection fitting and wanted to share my exceptional experience. My partner initially had this appointment himself and recommended them to me because of the staff, their service level and location. The building is clean, well decorated, and and in a beautiful location. The staff were extraordinarily kind and attentive throughout the entire process. What impressed me the most was their genuine helpfulness and supportive approach - they took the time to answer all my questions, ensure I was comfortable and gave us great personal attention during our time. Even though my appointment ran over the scheduled time, the staff remained patient and thorough, never making me feel rushed. They truly went above and beyond to ensure everything possible was done during my visit to get the perfect fit, and to ensure I was comfortable. To start, the customer service could not have been better! ***** 5 stars. It was all new to me but, missing out on conversations especially at restaurants and I got tired of saying what..Because the customer service is so good they walked me through the process of getting these hearing aids..there was trial applications and then went back a couple times for help after I acquired them (free). 6mo. This place is awesome! I've used hearing aids most of my life due to otosclerosis. I needed a new pair and I went to The Hearing Solution for a second opinion after visiting another provider whose test results I questioned. Elizabeth - an audiologist, which means she has much more knowledge and training than a licensed hearing aid dispenser - had a totally different opinion based on her test results. It turns out I am literally going deaf, and will need a cochlear implant in just a couple years. I was astonished. A visit to an ear nose and throat Dr. at UC Davis confirmed her findings. They also allowed me to try 2 different manufacturers (Phonak and Oticon) to demo them before purchasing a pair. I am now using two powerful new Phonak hearing aids I'm very pleased with. I went in today for a consultation regarding symptoms i've been having after a horrible double ear infection. I can't tell you how comfortable Dr. Barragan made me. She explained my audio test, did a couple of tests in office as well, and explained to me what to expect with my situation. She made me feel so calm and so comfortable and was very nice to me. Elizabeth was a sweetheart. She smiled a lot, which i like, and very good personality. She was very complete and compared to the hearing center i had in Auburn, I'm glad I went there. She saved me about $6k for new hearing aids by just reprogramming my old ones. I didn't know I was that deaf with my old nearing aids. I'm glad I went. Your company is the only vendor that medicare uses yet only one product is available without paying more than the allowance provided by the supplement to medicare. This is just one more example of the medical insurances systemic abuse of seniors. I pay over and above the outagous cost of medicare to get extra needed benifits like hearing coverage and then have one choice of product covered. The advertising done by the insurance company's that get rich off the backs of the elderly is misleading at best, close to criminal. How this system ever got to this point is beyond comprehension. read more

This was after I had purchased an aid at a warehouse hearing center which did not deliver a solution for me. I met with Kirsten McWilliams who first, is very knowledgable and professional and in addition, is cheerful, positive and patient. She is a delightful individual and is focused on solving the challenge of hearing impairment. After extensive testing and two months of cost free trials of various aids we agreed on the best option. My 88 year old mother, "Mama Maria" thought she was TOO YOUNG for a Hearing Aid. She was referred to "The Hearing Solution" and when she had her hearing tested by Dr Julia Tanner...mom thought she "passed with "flying colors". Actually, she mis-heard approx 25% of the words. The office was decorated beautifully in nautical ways, and there were refreshments including coffee and cookies...etc which made mom stay and listen to Dr Tanner's recommendations...nearly invisible device, which mom refers to as a "hearing booster" (rather than "hearing aid"). These people are truly wonderful. Of course they have all the current hearing aid options, but their customer service is what sets them apart. My husband has Alzheimer's in addition to being severely hearing impaired. He forgets to gently remove his aids, yanks them out & pulls the device apart. We have gone in over a dozen times this year to get repairs, adjustments, etc and they are always so nice, patient and caring towards him. Can't recommend highly enough! read more

Dr. Tanner and her entire staff are completely dedicated to making your experience great. And the services are built on excellent technology and hearing devices. I had a less than satisfactory outcome from my first attempt to improve my hearing at Costco. A lot less expensive, but not much improvement there. After my initial testing, at Hearing Solutions, I was provided several options, at various price points, to improve my hearing, and Dr. Tanner worked with me on an ongoing basis to continuosly improve the fine tuning of my devices until I am now hearing like I did thirty years ago. I am truly delighted by the results. Not cheap, but still a great value when you consider how important hearing is in terms of quality of life. This was my second visit with Dr. Brannigan which was very thorough and included a hearing test, followed by numerous other hearing evaluations specifically designed for my hearing loss. Simply put, Julia is the best. She takes great interest in making sure that my hearing aid(s) are the best for my hearing condition and that they are properly adjusted and serviced. I recently had need for repairs to my aids. I took them to her office on a Monday morning, and they were ready to be picked up by mid-day that Wednesday. I don't know how they do it, as the aids needs to be shipped off to a repair station, but this is the second time I've had that kind of great service.
