I have been going to The Hearing Solution for several years for my all my hearing needs. About 5 years ago I punchered my right ear drum and over the past 4 years lost about 90% of my hearing in my right ear and I only have about 50 to 60% hearing in my left ear. Dr Tanner gave me a extensive hearing test and said regrettably that there was no hearing aid that would help my hearing loss. Dr Tanner suggested that I get tested to see if I qualified for a Cochlear Implant for my right ear. Thanks to Dr Tanner suggestion last August I had the surgery for a Cochlear Implant. Now for the good news Dr Julia Tanner has added Kirsten McWilliams, Aud Doctor of Audiology to her staff. Dr McWilliams fitted me with a ReSound Hearing Aid and Paired it with my Cochlear N7 Implant. Thanks to Dr Tanner and Dr McWilliams I can hear great again. So if anyone living on this planet with a Cochlear Implant and are in need of a Hearing Aid that would complete a wonderful hearing experience. We are so lucky to have the best right here in Sacramento. I would like to think that Julia brought Kirsten to her staff just for me. But if that were true I would like to share Dr Kirsten McWilliams with everyone that has a Cochlear Implant and are in need of her excellent service at The Hearing Solution. Thank you Dr Julia Tanner and Dr Kirsten McWilliams for making my life much better for me to live the good life again. This 84 year old young man will be forever grateful. read more

I had a hearing test at my ENT physician's office a year ago, which showed it was time for me to get hearing aids. They gave me a list of several providers, but recommended The Hearing Solution. I've had the hearing aids for almost a year now, having purchased them through The Hearing Solution. Dr. Kirsten McWilliams is my audiologist, and she is very pleasant and professional, spending as much time as needed to answer any questions or concerns you might have. She gradually adjusts the aids as time goes on so that your brain can adapt to the new higher frequencies. I play the piano, and when I mentioned the sound was a little different while playing, she included a setting that adjusted for this perfectly. The office staff are very pleasant and helpful and I was able to get any needed appointments right away. At one point, one hearing aid needed replacement, and they were able to accomplish that within two days, at no cost! I've heard other people say you can get cheap hearing aids at Costco, but I doubt you get the quality and especially the service provided by The Hearing Solution. I am totally satisfied with my experience and highly recommend them. read more

It has only been a couple of years since Dr Barrigan helped me pick out my first ever pair of hearing aids but I have been very happy with them. She took lots of time to help me select the pair that was best for my lifestyle and hearing condition and I don't even know I am wearing them because they are so comfortable. She helped me set them up to use with my phone and I am so happy to be able to use them that way that I couldn't imagine being without them. I love the new office area and appreciated having a flat entry into the testing booth when I needed to use a wheelchair for a few weeks. The staff are very welcoming and always have very nice drinks and snacks available. read more

I first acquired my hearing aids 2 years ago, and along with all the service that went into deciding on a model and being fitted and trained how to use them, I have continued to receive follow-up visits to address new issues. (new software up-date, new i phone that needed connection). I also go in every 6 months just to be sure everything is going well. These visits are included in the initial cost. Dr. McWilliams has been great, and all the office staff are very helpful. The whole issue of needing hearing aids can seem overwhelming, but I can assure you that you will be happy that you chose the Hearing Solution to purchase your hearing aids from. read more

I had a great visit with Dr Barragan. The quality of care and the professionalism of all staff members is remarkable. Punctuality and skill in one package. Apart from the quality of care the hearing device provided is excellent and works seamlessly in several professional environments - zoom calls or conference meetings. Further, the device can be adjusted on the fly via an app for restaurant or music settings.
