SOAR started a punitive and expensive attendance policy where you are financially penalized for…read morecanceling with less than 24 hour notice. The penalty increases with each subsequent less than 24 hour cancellation. They seem to expect that you should know the day before if you would wake up the following morning feeling ill. So you would either place their staff at risk by showing up with the flu or pay a $50 or higher penalty. Yesterday was the last straw. Someone abandoned a large dog in my fenced yard. I called SOAR to tell them I might be unable to make my appointment, because I didn't know when Animal Control would arrive to pick the dog up. The dog was too large and unfriendly for me to safelyapproach it in my yard. If I opened the gate to my yard and just let him out, the dog could be hit by a car on my busy street. After I explained this situation, the typically rude receptionist, Susie, smugly said I would just have to pay the penalty if I didn't make the appointment. Animal Control did come and I was able to make the appointment. I spoke to the office manager about Susie's continuing rude behavior and the rigidity of their new attendance policy. Her response suggested that this was my problem, so I cancelled the rest of my appointments. This was unfortunate, because I really did like the Physical Therapist, Kirsten.

I spent over $2,000 on adjustments, and their decompression table, over the course of two months to see if they could help me. No difference - zero, zip, NADA. I have now had a doctor, and extensive web research, confirm what I suspected- chiropractors can't DO A THING for my condition. But that didn't stop them from selling me on a months-long series of adjustments, then they brought out the magic $100-for-20 minutes table. And when I mentioned that it wasn't working, Dr Simms suggested other people I could pay for help, like Pilates. Wasted money all of it. Don't be like me, talk to a doctor first. (My doctor brought me more relief in one visit with some steroid shots than these jokers did in two months.)

My job retired me on a disability because of my back, hips, and neck. My hand therapist was requesting I see Mike, and I didn't want to because I'd been through so much therapy already. She insisted my pain in my arms was coming from my neck and Mike could help. I had been having neck pain for at least five years. After seeing Mike, my hands and arms are no longer painful. About every 10 days, I would get a 3-day headache that would debilitate me. I don't get those anymore, which is a huge success as I was getting them for years. My back and hips are holding up better than they ever have. Mike taught me about my body, what it wants and what it needs and how to do exercises to keep me feeling good. While I'll always have to be careful and mindful of what I do, life is much better and my pain level has improved tremendously. That, my friends, is worth everything! I chose not to give up, and I chose to let Mike help me achieve my goal. Thank you again, Mike!

I just saw him this week for an odd acute issue that happened with my shoulder. He managed to squeeze me in and with only one treatment I went from only about 20% mobility to over 90% in 24 hours. Of course it depends on what the issue is but yes, he's THAT good. Worth every penny and the wait to get in!!
