I only ever order pizza from Marri's since I moved here. Pizza is good, wings are good, but this time the delivery was not good. I have never had a problem with getting delivered to my apartment but apparently the driver seemed to have used the wrong app to find my place and called me as though it was my fault. After I repeatedly told him my exact location, he finally got it. He was pleasant when he got here but leading up to the final delivery was not necessary. I don't know if this was just a one off, but i'm really hoping it was because they do have good food. read more

Just my second time picking up at this location, although I'm familiar with the original Anaheim location. Pizza's good, wish the dough (regular crust) was a little crisper and had a more yeasty flavor, but all-n-all a solid pie. What gives them the 5 stars is the customer service, always gracious and friendly, the owner offered me a free soda as I waited as we talked about Marri's history. There are pizza establishments on every corner, many are of the large franchise variety. I prefer to take my business to the independent shops & restaurants, I feel they produce a better product, and you're supporting their economy which makes it all so much better! read more

I absolutely loved this place. My family and I have been looking for a new pizza place to try and stumbled upon Marri's the other day when driving by. We decided to order online and picked up our order for a quick n easy weeknight meal after our hike. We were not only impressed with the food itself, but the price and quality of service at this establishment. I am beyond blown away and almost mad at myself for not trying Marri's sooner. WE WILL BE BACK! The little spot itself was super cute inside & the staff made up a table for us to drink a beer while we waited for our food even though they had a large reservation that filled the restaurant (we were early). I forgot to write about this Marri's WHOOPS! This is what happens when you don't take food porn and put it on your Instagram to remind you what reviews you need to write :p So occasionally I go to the liquor store or the shell in this tiny shopping center. One day I saw some work being done a few doors down and I noticed the signage. It said Marri's, I couldn't believe it!!!!! I'm a huge fan of Marri's in Anaheim and I had to know if it was the same Marri's I love by my gym. Sure enough I was correct. I didn't wait to long to place a pick up order. I usually give a new place 3 months or so, but I can not wait when it comes to Marri's establishments LOL. So I called in the order for myself and the family. The young man over the phone was hilarious and quite entertaining. I almost thought, he better not F this order up with all this humor via phone :p He repeated my order back about two times so he put me at ease. We ordered two alfredos and pizza bread with sausage and pepperoni. We came in 30 minutes later and the food was all ready and waiting for us. This is a small store front compared to the larger restaurant in Anaheim by Disneyland. There are about 5 tables and that's about it. The young dude helped us and he was beyond nice, everyone was nice! I asked if they were related to the other Marri's and the manager said yes. I told her, we're so happy that I don't have to going into Disney territory to get my Marri's fix! The young man walked our food to the car and we were on our way. Food stays HOT and that's a great thing! Our pasta dishes came with garlic bread and a side salad. The side salad is a nice size! Well put salad, nothing wilted! Their pizza bread was not open faced, it was practically a Stromboli. Very heavy dish but DAMN GOOD! Cheesy ooey gooey and loaded with meat! It's like eating a rolled up pizza and makes it easy to dip into ranch MMMMMMM. The Alfredo was good to me, I mean I add a little pepper and chili flakes and I'm a happy clam! My sister on the other hand thought it was a little bland o_O. No it didn't have the outstanding rich alfredo sauce taste but it hit my craving! I was so satisfied with my meal and made great leftovers, especially in the toaster oven :D I knew I was coming back! Sadly I'm the only one that will be coming back because my mother and sister both got sick from their meals :( This cast iron stomach of mine had NOOOOOOOO problems. How have I lived within delivery distance of this place and never tried it until now!!! Delivery: an hour wait, so plan ahead. Food: kid cheese pizza- this thing was large for a kid size and loaded with cheese. Calzone- massive. Could have order one small and it would be good for two people. It doesn't even need the dipping sauce it's so yummy. Price: a little expensive, but for the quantity and quality of the food, not too bad! We'll be ordering again. read more

My go to for fast and delicious delivery. We usually order the family special but we decided to try one of their turkey sub sandwiches and BBQ chicken pizza. Sandwich was delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted and tasted freshly baked. The BBQ chicken pizza was pretty good. Tangy BBQ sauce and a lot of melted cheese, almost too much cheese but I can't really complain because come on.. it's cheese! It was hard to eat though because the cheese slides right off the pizza. Don't think I would order it again but it wasn't horrible. Love their house salads too. I'm gonna be sad when we move and they no longer will deliver to us :( Only one side note - Their delivery drivers should carry more change. read more

The food used to be better here before. The pizza and salad were great portions, but no longer are. Frankly, the service sucks. The staff is rude even to a long time customer like myself. I don't see this place sticking around much longer. Yesterday I went in with my son at 11 am (when they said they opened) and offered to sit at a booth and sip water until they were ready to serve us, but they were understaffed and basically said we were not even welcome to do so. My son and I left and did not return at 11:30, as we were directed. The place has never been authentic, but the rudeness is something very recent. We're definitely done here. read more

Fast service! Just know that if you substitute anything from the specialty menu, it may be cheaper to just make your own (price difference). I called to change that menu item and they still misheard and added an extra item so it still costed more but still less than the listed speciality menu pizza. Overall, pizza was okay. I might be a little more picky since I prefer pan pizza where the dough is oily and flakey. They put plenty of cheese (almost too much) and was generous with their toppings. I've been here since the first week they opened. Owners are very friendly and produce amazing food. There is a small dining area inside with comfortable seating. They have great pizza, pasta and baked dishes. The dinner lasagna is large and served with two good sized portions of buttery garlic bread, and a pretty good size salad. Other nearby comparable italian places would be nearly $20 for the same thing you get here for $11.95. Take-out is available and they do a lot of stop in traffic from people on the way home, probably mostly local residents. They have a catering menu as well. I have not used them for catering yet, but plan to in the near future. The sauce here is hearty and has an amazing flavor. Whether you get pasta or a baked pasta, they give you plenty of sauce. Pizza has good texture and flavor. They do have a family deal with pizza, pasta and salad, which is a good deal. All in all, one of our favorite italian options in Orange. read more

Been here a few times. I know to stay away from the pizza because it BLOWS. My usual order is a Pastrami Sandwich, which never fails me... Fast forward to February of 2019, I was trying to place an order for pickup over the phone. I call; line is busy; call again... line busy. Literally 70 calls later... the line was still busy. So I decided to place an order online... thru "seamless.com". Once I placed the online order I drove down to pick it up. When I arrived at the restaurant they had no idea I had even called OR ordered. Apparently, "their internet wasn't working". So I placed an order right then & there and had to wait even longer for them to make it on the spot! Like.... its 2019 guys... how come every other restaurant on the planet can figure this out & Marri's can't? Either they have a shitty internet provider or someone didn't pay the bills on time... EITHER WAY, what a half-assed business model....... And they wonder why they don't get that much business. ‍ Won't be surprised if this place goes out of business in the next few years. What a wild experience. We ordered two main courses - lasagne with a side of minestrone soup, and the Rigatoni with meat sauce and two meatballs and a side salad. After going through the standard questions of dressings and the like, it also asked for special requests (this was through door dash). I requested extra tomatoes for the salad. Aside from the mishap with the DoorDash driver, which was frustrating enough, we received our food and it was ... laughable. As an Italian from the east coast, I will say that I can be a bit picky, but this was beyond just that. There was, at best, one table spoon of meat sauce on the pasta (will include photos) and a pile full of water. The salad was basically lettuce, some mushy cheese, and one half slice of tomato. Also no dressing ... but no big deal as we carry our own. My REAL issue here is with the customer service I received when I called. Not only did the woman talk over me, but she told me to take it up with door dash and she would approve a $7.00 refund, on a $50 order ... since all I was really missing was the sauce. THE SAUCE ... on a meat sauce dish lol! I'm not worried about the $7 or even the $50, my dogs had a decent second dinner tonight. I ordered Marri's special and it came with a piece of long hair sticking out of the crust,,,,,,,, must see picture! Thank you for traumatizing my pregnant friend who discovered it~ now we know just how special your pizza can be! For the record, one star is given to be able to post the review, there should be a way to remove all stars! BTW, not only was the pizza's crust dry (like an old stale loaf of bread), cheese layer was greasy and too thick to even stay on the damn crust, wings were wrinkly and dry as well, it even looked like they were sitting out in the sun for days. My only issue was the wait time, it was an estimated wait time of 1:15 but it turned into 1:45 by the time it was delivered. The delivery guy was very apologetic about the wait and very friendly so I wasn't too bothered. Overall the meal was great & I would probably go pick up my order than have it delivered. I had the Matterhorn Deluxe Pizza which was perfect, even the day after taste was on point! Also had the buffalo wings, Delicious!! The cheese garlic bread wasn't anything special but still tasty. The order was pizza and a Caesar salad. Firstly, the order was delivered to my neighbor who clearly has a different address. The flavors of the pizza were good but it had a blanket of cheese covering all of the toppings. Okay, I'll be open minded. That all worked out and while the pizza was a cheesy flavor bomb, the crust was zip. Like a saltine, 1.5 inches of no personality. This is my favorite type of pizza, the taste from my younger years when pizza was my weekly comfort food, not hubby's. I worked at a very popular pizza place on in the early 80's, and this reminds me of that pizza. Not Husbands though . He makes those grunting noises while he eats because he is not a pizza person, and he rather have Pizza Hut. But, next day, Marri's reheated, he raved. I'd tip better for a pizza this way, rather than be required to pay a delivery fee. This place does just that. No delivery fee, timely, prompt, hot tasty pizza. I find delivery self indulgence of lazy people, but for some, a necessity to be able to get good food at very reasonable prices. read more
