Alex showed up to put up a ceiling fan in my sons room...sounds easy enough. Well, not so easy when you want to put the ceiling fan right between two 24inch studs. Alex improvised and went to the hardware store to get some 2x4's so he could mount them to the studs and then mount the fan. Also he had to run power to a switch and put a junction box up in the attic so we can later easily put a fan in my daughters room. It did cost a bit more than the initial quote but his price was still very fair considering all he had to do. Bottom line Alex was professional, trustworthy and did very clean/flawless work. Alex showed up to give me a quote on adding some recessed lighting, grounding some electrical outlets and adding some ceiling fans. Our electricity went out at our house. I tried to flip the breakers and it seemed like I did it right. I called Alex and he told me to double check the breakers and to call Edison. I had told him i did but i doubted myself. I went back and pushed really hard on the breaker. It turned out I didn't completely shut off the breaker. I turned it back on and the power was on. Alex was able to fix a few issue very quickly, he had to troubleshoot a few 3way switches to make sure all 3 switches turn on and off the lights. He explained what I did wrong and how to prevent the issue from happening again, he labeled the wires because I will eventually be replacing all switches for smart switches.
