So we hired JV Handyworks for a remote repair on a condo that had a fair amount of water damage, deferred maintenance and two live in occupants. The project seemed simple, remodel floor, paint, add a some fixtures. But that, as it always does, changed. After 30 years working with other contractors, I have seen how things can get gummed up. So when it came time to do the work, I expected some entanglement, some issue. But there wasn't. Everything went smoothly, even when we ran into scope changes from mold, water damage, needing extra materials, etc. If there were any snags, JV would anticipate and correct them. Our security camera footage shows both detectors inside Jose's tool bucket as he left our home. They later claimed the detectors were treated as "trash" and even promised they would be returned, but days later they still haven't.
