    Chicken koobideh

Noticed this place last week and decided to try it out today. Definitely going to be my new go-to spot. Got the chicken koobideh and my girlfriend got the spicy chicken kebab and both were seriously good. The outdoor seating was nice & our server was very kind as well. I don't write reviews often, but it looks like they've been slow and they earned our business with that food Out the door with 2 huge meals, a soda and a tip for ~$40, you can't beat that

The service is good, the food is the best, and the inside is nice and cool and spacious, a nice getaway from the heat of the valley. Highly recommended. Love the hummus, the flavors of the meats, perfectly grilled, everything super fresh! Spicy chicken or regular, very hard choice. Breast or leg meat, hard choice too! Ribeye pieces or flank steak(barg), all good! Everything good! Trust me, come!!!

We ordered the meat combo plate, which came with beef lula kabob as well as chicken kabob and beef kabob pieces. The plate also came with hummus and because I came with my daughter and she demanded fries, I replaced the included basmati rice for freshly made fries. In addition, we decided to order a side of baba ganoush, which was very flavorful and just so worth it. The meats were outstanding. Both, chicken and beef kabob pieces were nicely marinated, perfectly grilled and delicious. The beef lula kabob really stood out to me and it's one of the better ones I've had in LA -- very juicy, well marinated ground beef and they cooked it so the juices are trapped inside the lula and they only get released after you bite into it. What I got was a perfect bite every time and those delicious beef juices made my taste buds say Yaaaaay and nourished my soul. Overall, a very good meal at a good price and it had my wife and daughter satisfied. The spot is located on a medium-size plaza with many parking spots. The inside is clean and has about 8 tables for dining in. The service was good and friendly. A worthy local place for a quick, delicious Mediterranean food. Will come back again!

Guests had chicken kabob plate or chicken kabob combo with lamb or chicken combo with steak. Everyone enjoyed the meal which was served with generous portions. We found on Yelp, this restaurant named Lemon Zest. It is a restaurant that is part of small business center but Lemon Zest looks like a stand alone business. The interior was designed so nice with ample seating outside in the patio area and inside. This place is meant to hold large parties. The vibe is so cool for a casual date or dinner and drinks with friends. It is also cool to host a mixer or private party! At 9:15pm we were the only party and our server treated us so well. She didn't rush us but she did check in with us periodically. I wish we got her name so we can properly give her praise. The food was amazing. This is my first time here so I ordered the beef gyro plate and paid extra for loaded Greek fries. The plate was huuuge! Such a generous serving that is enough for two people to eat. The fries were crisp and the toppings worked so well. It complimented the thin, well-seasoned slices of beef. The pita was cut into triangles, making the perfect bite. My friends and I really enjoyed our dinner and promise to comeback!

Everything tasted like it had more butter or oil than necessary, and by the end of the meal I felt weighed down. Persian food is often rich, but this crossed the line into feeling overly greasy, which took away from the quality of the ingredients. The zereshk polo and kebab both would have benefited from a lighter touch. The fresh naan was excellent, and I can understand why this place has a loyal following. It's also a good value considering the portion sizes, especially in Los Angeles. Overall, I can see why many people enjoy International Market Grill, but it wasn't quite for me. If you like very rich, hearty Persian food, you'll probably leave satisfied. I personally prefer a cleaner, less heavy preparation. So while I'm glad I tried it, I'm not sure I'd order from here again.
