I went to this store for my jewelry repair/custom projects for many years. Chris has been doing well considering he had to fill his father's shoes his dad was very skilled I can't deny that. Unfortunately Chris's father R.I.P sold me a Frankenstein Rolex submariner 6 years ago. I found out recently when I went to sell it to a good friend of mine. Upon inspection we realized that basically the case was the only thing that was real on the watch it had everything swapped. Aftermarket Bracelet, fake dial, fake bezel the movement had been replaced with cheaper aftermarket replacement parts the insert was fake. I am so upset that Ino would take advantage of a 23 year old kid trying to get into the watch flipping business I've lost a very good friend and customer thanks to this problem. I know I won't see my $8200 dollars back however all I can do is let everyone know that this business is not as clean as everyone thinks. read more

After talking with Chris, he made us a way that he's able to craft custom jewelry. He took my wife's request and tried his best to make a ring. Chris was straightforward and honest throughout the process in the end, he was unable to complete the request due to the gem size. But Chris turned a negative situation positive when he offered us a discount price on a comparable ring he had got in stock. I rarely write reviews but this jeweler deserves one. My bracelet broke and needed a new safety chain along with getting it sized smaller. I went to my local jeweler in Grand Terrace (Burt's Jewelry) and he quoted me $150 to fix it!! I called this place because I used to live in Yucaipa couple of years back and they replaced a battery in my husbands watch. I called them to see how much they would charge for the same repairs and he quoted me $35!!! And he said he could have it fixed in 20 minutes while I waited so I rushed and drove to Yucaipa and saved $115!!! He did an awesome job of fixing and took 2 links off for $35. I'm so happy and grateful that there are fair and honest people that will give you a honest price for their work! I'm bringing all my broken jewelry soon to have him repair them all! Sh*tty service. Took a ring in to get prongs tightened and got my ring back with a clouded Diamond that looked so different from the others. Instead of telling me about it, before I picked it up, he was going to let me walk out without saying anything. I had to ask what happened. This was after I waited extra 10 days to pick it up because he hadn't gotten around to it. After I got home, my son told me if he'd known I was taking it there, he would have told me not to. I loved the owner/jeweler who passed away, and trusted him completely. May he rest in peace. He would be shocked and dismayed by the actions of his son who has stepped in to fill his father's brilliant and talented and honest shoes. I took my gold cross in to have the chain replaced. He quoted me one price then another. I discovered he had replaced the gold chain with a silver one. I asked him to give me back my previous chain. Much to my surprise, the chain was an inch shorter, had a metal clasp, and when I checked with another jeweler to confirm the diamond was .35 tcw, it was now .25tcw. I'm not saying he switched the diamond I had in there for 50 years that had been given to me by a dying friend who was like a father figure, but perhaps it dwindled in the months it took for him to return my call. Either way, I would strongly suggest a different jeweler. A reputation once lost is best left alone by the wise customer. I will never be back just like my diamond will never return to my cross. Either way, I am heart sick. read more

I went to have my watch batteries replaced. I walked in with 9 watches at 5pm. I was expecting to drop them off. Chris said it would be 30 minutes. I waited and he changed the batteries on all 9 watches and set the date and time. I was very impressed and the price was very reasonable. Great customer service! read more

The price for the repair was very reasonable, much less than I would have paid at a repair service in the mall. Stopped in to get two watch batteries replaced. I was in and out with in 15 minutes and only spent $12. That's a steal when compared to the $10/each Fossil wanted to charge me plus they would have scratched the back (this little tid bit is from the manager herself). Do not trust your watch repair to this jewelry store. They plated my son's necklace beautifully I must say. Hopefully the plating will last longer than the last time. I paid $120 this time. I Brought several watches into the store over a 3 week period. Only one watch actually received a replacement battery. The jeweler kept saying he would telephone me as to when the others would be repaired but never did. When I would appear, the watches were not repaired. After 3 weeks, I asked for them back. I got 2 of the 3 watches back. I was told that the jeweler went into LA for replacement parts and the third watch would be completed on Tuesday. I asked for the watch back. He said I could not have the watch back because it had been taken apart. I returned today, Thursday. Both he and Marlene said I had taken the watch and I was lying. I told them they were stealing my husband's watch and they laughed. They told me I put down the $28 on the receipt, not them. It is a good thing I haven't paid lots of money for my husband's watches, maybe $150 for each one, but I did not think I needed to take pictures of the watches I brought in for battery replacement. Do not go there for battery replacement for your watches. You may never see your watch again! read more
