There's a diagram that outlines all of these acupressure points that she kept pressing which she pointed out in the hallway before we went to the room. The masseuse used special techniques to stimulate acupressure points by kneading and rolling to the point where she actually stopped to tell me part of my scapula was "not good," and I could tell because it got increasingly painful as she worked on it. I added cupping to the massage, which was my first time trying it, and I have no regrets. It adds a slight bit of pressure to the back but not at all to the point where it becomes painful. She used the one that vacuumed the air out so no fire was involved. I didn't realize that the color of the circles meant something, so I learned a lot about my body's circulation and stagnation. It's honestly so worth it to get a massage like this to relieve the stress your body holds because I don't believe a typical massage can get it out as this traditional Chinese massage can. There's plenty of parking in the structure located behind the building.

I told her I would tip after the service instead. Right away, the experience went downhill. She told me to lay on my stomach and spent the first 15 minutes just lightly rubbing my back with almost no pressure at all. When I asked her to go harder, she suddenly became too rough and actually hurt me. I got so uncomfortable that I let out a huge sigh. I checked the clock and realized she had only been rubbing my back the entire time. Then she suddenly said another lady would take over. The second lady did better, but she also focused only on my back. My chest was starting to hurt from laying in the same position for so long, so I asked if they were going to massage my head, legs, and arms too since I paid for a FULL BODY massage M. I don't think she understood me because she only massaged my feet for a few minutes and then said, "That's it. Done." The timing was also misleading. They started touching me around 9:05 PM and finished at 9:55 PM !! not even a full hour. I was so frustrated that I just walked out. Then the first lady literally ran after me asking for a tip. I didn't even turn around. Absolutely the worst 55 minutes of my massage experience. I wish I could give a 0 star!

Once I got there I was easily checked in and asked to fill the form of where I would like to focus on/avoid which I really appreciated. I highlighted my shoulders/traps area since that is where I carry most of my tension and pain. Upon entering the treatment room, it was quaint and perfect. My therapist started off in the areas that I experience the most pain and quickly helped me relieve the tenderness in those areas which I was so grateful for. I've been into countless other massage rooms where I spend nearly an arm and a leg and don't even provide any relief like my therapist Tina did! I was sooo so grateful, I could've cried. Throughout the whole treatment I felt really comforted and taken care of. Her touch was firm but most of all, perfect. The technique was unlike any other massage I've had in the best way possible. It felt like a lot of acupressure involved which I appreciated. The music was serene and the essential oils really help you relax! The 60 minutes felt like an eternity but in the best way possible because you just feel so well taken care of. Every minute feels set with intention. Thank you so much ABD Spa and Tina!!
