I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Z! I saw her after about three weeks of severe sciatica pain. The pain was constant unless I took ibuprofen, and I didn't want to go to a regular doctor just to be told to take pain medication. I also had body aches, stiffness throughout my body, a very stiff shoulder and neck, and poor sleep from the pain. At 47, I honestly felt like I was 80. From the moment I met Dr. Z, she listened carefully and took the time to understand all of my symptoms. She explained the treatment plan she thought would help, and I immediately felt I was in caring, knowledgeable hands. Right after my appointment, I already felt more relaxed and had more energy. The next morning, I was amazed my sciatica pain was about 99% gone. My body felt looser, my neck was no longer stiff, and even my frozen shoulder, which wasn't the main focus of treatment, felt much better. I didn't expect such a dramatic improvement after just one visit. Dr. Z also gave me a deep massage that was intense at times, but clearly helped release a lot of tightness. She is kind, compassionate, and truly cares about her patients. She made me feel heard, and the results speak for themselves. I'm looking forward to continuing treatment and seeing even more improvement. Thank you, Dr. Z! You gave me hope when I really needed it. read more

I didn't particularly like this clinic because of how fast it ran. The service was kind and attentive, I was even offered tea afterwards. However I prefer an acupuncturist that sits down to learn holistically about my health and takes time to understand my issues and that didn't happen. It isn't somewhere I plan on going again, but if you're looking for quick service this is your place! I also prefer to sit with the needles much longer than I did (maybe 10-15 min?, whereas I benefit from 25-40 min) and I got cupping done too but it was the suction ones, not the real fire ones and I much prefer the glass / fire over plastic/ suction. read more

My 7 year old was having some stress related stomach pain and since Eva had helped me so much I decided to pay her a visit. My son had heard me talk up Eva's healing hand, but he was not receptive to the thought of needles. So he went with me to my appointment and saw how it went that he let Eva put a couple of needles, the second visit he allowed her several more and in more areas. This was only possible because Eva was calm and really tuned into his needs. He has mentioned how relaxed he feels after a visit to Eva. We are so grateful to have found her! read more

Eva Z Acupuncture was recommended by a friend who had tried two other companies before finding Eva. She does not disappoint! She is professional & very skilled with acupuncture & acupressure treatments. Kaiser has approved this out of system support & I am having very good results in combination with physical therapy. The therapy room is pristine, quiet, peaceful & private. Street parking has always been available. Eva listens to issues & focuses on patient issues. I highly recommend her. read more

I started acupuncture sessions in January while looking for some relief from IBS symptoms. After researching places near me and reading the excellent reviews, I decided to try Eva Z Acupunctur, and I'm so glad I did. The treatments have truly been helping, but what makes the biggest difference is how caring and attentive Eva is. She really takes the time to listen to all my symptoms and concerns, and she has also shared very helpful advice about my diet and overall wellness. I'm very happy I found her and started this journey. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate acupuncturist. read more

I just left my first acupuncture appointment with Eva. I have Venous insufficiency in my lower legs and wanted to try acupuncture to see if it would help with circulation. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a fantastic experience. Eva has really good energy. You will notice that from the second you meet her. There was no long wait and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. She took her time and answered any questions I had. I left feeling very relaxed. I would highly recommend her. She's very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your wellbeing. Scheduling is very flexible insurance and FSA both excepted. read more

Eva is a healer! I have been seeing her for 6+ months now and every time I go in for a treatment, I am immediately relieved of my ailment. I usually see her for acupuncture and cupping, which is always followed with an incredible deep tissue muscle massage (especially on my back and neck). I have seen her for shoulder tightness and neck stiffness, I have seen her for perimenopause management, and have also seen her for anxiety and stress relief. The treatment is customized each time to suit the concern and every time I have walked out of the office feeling immediately better, relaxed, calm, and relieved of my pain or stress. I cannot recommend her enough. She's so kind and the office is tucked away on a quiet street but still super close. She is so friendly and nice! 10/10 recommend. read more

Eva is a fantastic! I came here to relieve nausea from pregnancy and it really helped. I left feeling really calm and after four weeks of nausea, it was kind of weird to feel completely normal! Eva is such a godsend. Please do not hesitate to see her for whatever you may want or need support with. She was recommended to me by a good friend and I have since recommended her to two other people who see her. She has SO much training and experience and such incredible intuition as well, really thorough and caring, and uses many different healing modalities, you are in such good hands with her. Personally I have intensely bad chronic stress and anxiety from ptsd, and muscle tension in my back, neck and jaw because of it, as well as what feels like hormonal imbalances also because of the chronic stress.. and eva helps SO much, every time, without fail. Seriously noticeable improvements each time. Sometimes when I have badddddddd, like, REAL BAD radiating pain and a migraine-like headache from muscle tension, a session with her, that includes massage(better than many massage therapists), cupping, and acupuncture.. is the *main* thing that helps it go away. In the past I've struggled to make that pain go away desperately trying other massages or muscle relaxers, or pain killers that have nearly given me ulcers, to no avail. Until Dr. Zhang. Also, seeing her regularly anyway, but leading up to my period, seeing her is the only thing that helps to balance everything out. She also handles insurance for you which is so helpful, and is affordable and SO worth it regardless. I am so freaking grateful to her. Just, do yourself a favor and give her some sessions to make your life better. Trust in her. You will never regret it. read more

Incredible experience! This is my third time going there and the care and professionalism are exceptional.

Eva is a master acupuncturist! She Is very intuitive and knows exactly where to position the needles to provide maximum comfort and pain relief. I went to her specifically for leg pain and a shoulder injury which occurred several years earlier but I was never able to get any relief. She helped with providing the best care and I no longer have the shoulder pain and I am forever grateful. I highly recommend her especially for pain relief which was my purpose for going. read more

I came in to get acupuncture done for my ongoing shoulder pain. The office is very nice and welcoming, I was impressed with how up-to-date everything was. Usually, places look a little sad, but they did a great job here. It's very quiet and they play very peaceful sounds while you're laying there with your needles. One of the times that I had made an appointment, I had a last minute meeting at work that was going to make me either late or have to cancel. I reached out and they were kind enough to reschedule me as someone else was trying to get an earlier slot. It worked out perfectly, and I was able to make it in. The quality of care is top-notch, I really felt like I was listened to, my shoulder pain drastically reduced after my second visit, which is a lot to say as the previous place I had been going to kept doing the same thing for weeks and the pain never subsided. The pricing is very reasonable here, I highly recommend. read more

Eva is so wonderful! She touch base with you even during her off hours to make sure her patients are doing well. It's not only about In and out patient but having relationship with them and caring for them. Grateful and thankful! read more

Dr. Eva is the BEST! I started seeing her in April 2021 because I was having severe bloating, stomach cramping and other digestive issues. I had already gone through a bunch of tests and exams with my gastroenterologist and he diagnosed me with IBS. Once I found out nothing was seriously wrong I thought I'd try acupuncture to alleviate my symptoms. I've since been seeing Dr. Eva 1-2 times a week and today I feel so much better. My symptoms and digestive issues have significantly decreased. They had been so bad in the beginning that I couldn't workout and do any exercises that involved jumping or core work because my stomach cramps were so bad. Now my digestive issues and symptoms occur every now and then and usually it has to do with something I ate. Dr. Eva is knowledgeable, friendly, always welcoming, she asks a lot of questions, and she genuinely cares about her patients and how they are feeling. She is always quick to respond whenever I text her with a question in regards to any stomach issues and my treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Eva if you're looking for acupuncturist! She is awesome! Thank you Dr. Eva!! So glad I found you! read more

Not safe. I sent a text and email at 8am saying I had COVID symptoms and would need to reschedule. Eva sent a response saying she'd meet me online for a telehealth appointment. Why would I have an acupuncture appointment online? I said no. Then instead of canceling or rescheduling my appointment and keeping herself and her clients safe she charged me more than DOUBLE on my credit card saying I was a no-show. REALLY! This week is the highest surge for Omicron 1.4.22. The first thing you see when you walk in is a sign that reads- do not enter if you have cold symptoms! I've never missed, never been late, I canceled out of respect. Total scam. There are currently 250,000 cases of covid in Los Angeles. Every "healer" needs to listen to their patient and reschedule if they have covid symptoms PERIOD. read more

This is the best place! Everyone is so kind and gentle. They take the time to listen to you and cater your treatment to your specific sensitivities. My lower back is really ticklish and it's been an issue for me before with massage and acupuncture. Here though, it's never been an issue because the practitioners are so responsive. Within one month, my back and neck pain is alleviated. I find myself sitting up straighter, and always left my appointment feeling very relaxed and taken care of. Highly recommend!! And to the person who left a bad review because you got covid and cancelled same day--I also got covid and Eva was extremely understanding. It's not unfair for them to charge a service fee. Covid or not, cancelling same-day is extremely inconvenient for small business owners. They plan their day around appointments. Customers should be more compassionate about this. I found Eva to be very professional and understanding in this regard. I'll definitely be going back :-) read more

Dr. Zhang is not just an acupuncturist, she is a healer. I have suffered from chronic headaches since I was 12 years old. I was stressed and hadn't been sleeping well. Taking pills for migraines for more than 22 years but nothing changed until I tried acupuncture with her. Its been almost 5 months and I have not had a migraine since. My headaches had disappeared, and now I sleep very well. Eva is intuitive, so easy to speak to, very friendly, knowledgeable, and has beautiful healing energy. Plus she does a massage with Jade Gua Sha which I really love it, my face looks glowy and beautiful, I really recommend Dr. Zhang, she really cares for her patients. We've been working along my spine and neck with the needles and then she'll do cupping and acupressure/deep tissue gliding. I'm so grateful I found her! read more

After just one session, I cannot rave about this place enough. I saw Jolin for acupuncture and she had me explain my issues before the session and I felt calm and very heard in her presence. She was able to explain clearly and concisely what she was doing with the needles and what acupuncture does, which has not always been the case for me at other acupuncturists. I felt an obvious difference for the better in my pain the very next day and I am excited for my next session. The office is clean and quiet with easy parking. Glad I've found this place. read more
