Type of care and quality is wonderful. I always get the help that I need from every acupuncturist and I have been going here for almost 2 decades. Unfortunately, the office experience is always a gamble. Today I bought a $100 gift card for a referral as they always need new patients and my friend could really use their services. They made me go across the street to get cash and then they still did not validate my parking, saying that I needed a service before I could do that even though I spent $100 in my faces on their brochure. Even though I asked them to talk to their manager, they said that their manager was not available, who I know. They came to my wedding. So I'm just not sure who to believe, and I am not taking care of which worries me about the rest of their patients. With all the experience that we have had together, and the fact that I trust, no other acupuncture office, I can't give them anything less than five stars, and I never will. There is nobody else I could go to. But I do hope that they start letting their customers get validated when they are paying customers, that is how you make money in a business ethically. read more

I've been going here weekly for acupuncture and massage since I had a fall on a darn scooter. It's helped me tremendously. The validated free parking is a huge plus and one of the few business in the center that offers that. FYI there's also electric charging in the garage and it's usually available because if you don't unplug after it's finished charging, the fee is pretty high. read more

Dr Liu and Shirley (the masseuse) are incredible - this two star review is the older lady in the front. Dr Liu is personable, patient, and explains the procedure well. I emailed Magnoly my insurance information and they responded back to let me know I had a $30 copay. On the day of my appointment, I was on the massage table with my clothes off, faced down after the masseuse left and Dr Liu was about to place needles in my back. At that moment I was informed that my insurance is out of network and I have to pay the cash price of $95. After my session was complete I spoke to the lady out front and she was not empathetic and said it was an unfortunate situation. She said her boss just caught this error. Really? They checked my insurance more than two weeks ago when I submitted my insurance information. She didn't offer to write off the portion even thought it was their fault for the misinformation. It is bad practice to tell a patient what they owe and then charge them more while they are in treatment read more

I've been here three times now and they've helped me with pain I had on my middle finger. Now I'm back for my neck, foot, and lower back pain. They are doing massages again and I'm sooo thankful because it was much needed. I fell asleep under the heat lamp during acupuncture. Joanne is such a gem. So friendly and helpful! I have been to a few acupuncturists and I must say that this place is my favorite. Dr Liu is very thorough with her examinations and makes sure that she sits down with her patient prior to every treatment to assess them properly. They are out of network with my insurance however my plan did cover acupuncture out of network. I hadn't met my deductible so I did have a copay. Even without insurance their cash price is more then reasonable compared to other clinics. I have been getting acupuncture from Dr. Lin for several years. I started going to them back when they were at the other location near Vons. Nothing but one hundred percent positive experience. Dr. Lin is very friendly and professional. He always listens to you, and his staff is very polite and accommodating. The office is very clean. Parking is easy. I've been going there for years and i have never been pressured to buy herbs or forced to drink the tea they serve you after the treatment. The herbs are included in the price of your treatment and if you don't want the tea just don't take it. I can't stand obnoxious pushy doctors and if Dr. Lin was like that i would never come back there. He is very professional, caring and knowledgeable acupuncturist. Shady business practice! I called to inquire if they take my PPO insurance and they confirmed that they do take my insurance and the "co-pays" are $40 for acupuncture and another $15 for massage therapy after taking my insurance information. I then proceeded with treatment and paid $55 "co-pays" as represented by the business. I then called my insurance company to confirm my benefits and was told that my co-pay for acupuncture is only $30 and no additional co-pay for massage therapy if it's medically necessary. It turns out this business isn't even "in-network" and they had misrepresented that they do take my insurance and charged me "co-pays". When i called the business back to complain about their misrepresentation, the lady said "what do you want me to do about that? Maybe the receptionist made a mistake. Maybe the insurance agent made the mistake. Maybe I should've charged you the full price for the service!" You would think the business would know whether they are "in-network" of one of the biggest insurance company in the nation. Instead, they chose to misrepresent about insurance coverage just to get clients in. VERY SHADY AND UNETHICAL!!! read more

I am a Huntington Hospital physician and I was referred to Dr. Lin in 2011 by 2 other doctors - Dr. Jeannie Shen (Breast Surgeon) and Dr. Howard Kaufman (Colorectal Surgeon). I have only been amazed and impressed with Dr. Lin and his knowledge of Eastern Medicine. I have been treated a few times now for low back pain/sciatica (2011, 2012, and again in 2014). Dr. Lin is also able to use acupuncture to lower my stress levels/insomnia! I have also been recently for my sinus/ear/ENT issues. I highly recommend you come and see Dr. Lin not only for a "flare up" or issue but ALSO regular maintenance! He can just check your pulse and know right away what is "off" in your body. This was my first time getting acupuncture....It was the BEST therapy and massage I have ever had...The needles DO NOT hurt you cant even feel a thing. The nice pleasant lady who massaged me was awesome, I think her name was Lisa. They are very professional and kind. The acupuncturist made me feel like my body was completely rundown and ill. I mentioned that I had been doing acupuncture for over 6 months in my home state and the acupuncturist still gave me a 15 min explanation on the history of acupuncture and how it works. My acupuncturist was also distant and borderline cold. I did not appreciate how I was pressured to buy supplements I did not need and drink the tea after my treatment. During treatment i was told the supplements were included in my acupuncture treatment , but when I went to pay my total had increased by 10$. When I refused the supplements they made me feel "poor" said " it's only 10$ you don't have $10?". Who says that?!! It was not the cost, it was the principal of sneaking things onto my bill that I did not want or authorize. I am never returning nor recommending this place. read more
