I have been a patient of Markson Chiropractic for around 20 years, give or take. They offer chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, tens stim, massage chairs, post-accident treatment, spinal decompression and more. This is NOT a case of "jack of all trades, master of none". This practice is made. up of the best practitioners of their trade. They recently moved into a new, sprawling space, with lots of treatment rooms, services, rehabilitation services and more. It is a clean, bright, enjoyable place to be! I am a patient with chronic back pain, with bone spurs on my vertebrae and bulging and herniated discs. I do the spinal decompression and adjustment every time I go, which is every two weeks. I tend to see two of the doctors, depending on who is available on the days I go. Dr. Markson and Dr. Daner are friendly, efficient, professional and truly care for the comfort and wellbeing of their patients. Let's talk about front office. I have "fired" many a doctor because of a lacking front office, or apathetic patient care. This is NOT the case here. This front office is filled with friendly, smiling, helpful humans that have your wellbeing at the top of their priorities. This is a busy office - do not let that deter you. There are enough doctors and staff that it runs like a well-oiled machine. Jenn has been with the office for as long as I can remember, and is a shining beacon of "welcome" when you walk through the door. Savannah and Lisa are usually there when I come in on Saturday mornings. They know me, they are friendly. I don't see going in to get adjusted as a chore because it's like visiting friends/family. I mentioned this is a busy office. No worries. In 20 years, I can say confidently that I have been told "no appointment is available" less times than would fill one hand. The team works with my schedule, they will fit me in if there is any possibility of getting me an appointment - last minute, same day, plan ahead - they got me covered. The patient care and wellbeing is top priority here. I will continue going to Markson Chiropractic as long as I can. I HIGHLY recommend this business!! read more

All of the chiropractors are excellent, the front desk/admin staff will always try to accommodate your schedule as best they possibly can, and the Physical therapy staff is professional, encouraging, and always patient. Everyone from front to back is extremely personable, friendly, and upbeat. I have not had frequent interaction with the other staff (nurse, nutritionist, massage therapy) but they seem just as upbeat as the other staff members. I've been going here for about a year now. Dr. Markson is one of the best chiropractors I've ever worked with. His compassion and his care are top notch! The whole staff is terrific, and I always feel seen and cared for. My favorite part is the system that he and his staff have created. They are flexible, they will work with your schedule, they have a process by which they can handle a lot of patients at once, without making you feel like you're just a number. I came in originally with an acute issue that has bothered me regularly and had gotten much worse. Now I go about every three weeks and the problem never even recurs, despite a ton of travel, lifting, suitcases, etc. If you've had a bad experience with a chiropractor in the past, don't even think about it, just go. Horrible costumer service and it's such a shame because the office set up is really nice. I had an appointment scheduled for massage and when I get there was told they wouldn't be able to see me and that the "time just got away from them and they didn't have a chance to call me." Was then told I would get a call back to reschedule and accommodate me and I never heard back. When I finally called I got the run around again. They are also very pushy about the frequency that they want you to come in for adjustments. read more

I have been to countless chiropractors over the years. However, I have never been to a chiropractor appointment that I thought was life altering until today. I kid you not. I called for an appointment today because I woke up in excruciating pain and knew immediately I had to be seen today. I called Markson Chiropractic and was told that they did not have an opening with the doctor today. After I said I needed to be seen today or I would have to go elsewhere, I was asked to hold briefly. When they came back on the phone I was asked if I could come in at 2:30 PM. I said yes immediately. I was impressed with that but my experience with them just continued to get better and better. I went in for my appointment and was greeted by very friendly staff members. I was brought into the office where Dr. Markson and his associate Dr. Greer joined me shortly afterwards. Dr. Markson explained that he thought it best if I had x-rays before he worked on me because he said he wanted to know what he was dealing with before touching me. He mentioned that he was reluctant to adjust me without knowing what was going on because he could hurt me if he did so. Ironically, this made me immediately think of a local chiropractor in Sunrise who did just as Dr. Markson described. At the time I thought I was going to end up in a hospital because of my experience. Luckily weeks of PT helped me recover from that unfortunate chiropractic experience. I did not want to repeat that nightmare of an experience again and agreed to the x-rays after a brief discussion of the price. I am so very glad I did too. Because what the x-rays revealed was the real root of the problem that brought me in today. My x-rays revealed that my neck not only lacks the correct curve in my neck but it is actually curved in the opposite direction that it should be curved in. In addition it is not centered above my chest properly. I know you are wondering how did I get so lucky. A car accident in 2000 during which I was rear ended then hit the cement divider on the parkway after which the car rolled over. The car was totaled but I walked away. Turns out the treatment I received then was not sufficient which I kind of suspected at the time. And of course countless chiropractor and physical therapy appointment afterwards confirmed it. Dr. Markson is going to helped me with the double pinched nerves I am currently experiencing and then move onto helping me resolve the larger problem in addition to making sure I have access to someone in NYC who can help me to continue to get the appropriate care I need. I finally feel I am in the right hands. Pun intended. read more

I have been coming here for 24 years. I have gone to other chiropractors but never felt better. Dr. Markson knows just how to adjust me by feeling my spine. I leave there feeling lighter and if I come in pain from a pinched nerve or my back is out, I know in a few days I will be back to normal.
