Absolute trash. Pizza was worse than school lunch or gas station pizza. It was served to me sans gloves (NYS law says you need gloves for direct service to customers- putting slices in the oven is ok to be gloveless). Greasy, congealed, dough like a sponge. Summary: Mark's is a pretty average pizzeria. They have slices as well as whole pizzas. I think they also have things like subs and calzones. Price: Pretty average for the area. Won't break your bank, but you can't come here with change you find off the street. Taste: This is a bit of a loaded category. When it's fresh, it's pretty good. If I were rating on fresh and hot food alone, I'd go more towards the upper half of my 3 rating. However, for some reason, the pizza doesn't reheat or travel well. Pizza: I'm not a pizza connoisseur, so I don't know what kind it is, but it's moderately thick. Not a deep dish, but not thin like Cam's. Overall: If you couldn't tell from above, my thoughts are that Mark's is a bit average. It's not bad. I'm not usually one to complain about food service, especially during the hardship of Covid. But tonight I ordered a sub from Mark's pizzeria in Geneva, and asked for tunafish. They no longer carry tuna. Fine, so then I ordered a roast beef sub with provolone lettuce tomato and mayo. They sent me a grilled steak sub. A cold roast beef sub and a grilled steak sub are two completely different items. When I called to complain they gave me the manager, and I was told they do not carry roast beef subs. They also made Dave's gluten-free pizza but omitted the pepperoni that we ordered. They offered to remake the pizza but not to credit me for my sub. They said that corporate doesn't allow it. Well you can bet that I'll be getting in touch with my credit card company because there is no way I am paying for that sub. It was a baked gooey mess. read more

Do you like pizza? If you answered yes, do not go here unless you are drunk. (i think they cater to a late night post-bar college crowd) Crust was on the thick side and actually looked like it had potential but it had absolutely no flavor, which was sad - dense, hard, chewy - i picked up a slice and it remained perfectly flat, didn't droop and didnt require folding to be picked up like a thinner less cardboardy slice would. Sauce was thick and pastey and also completely tasteless - was it even made with tomatos? . Cheese was the high point mostly because it was cheesy and melty and oily, but by the time i had the slice it had congealed and was chewy and rubbery. I didn't get to try any other pizzerias in town, so i cant say if this is typical finger lakes style pizza or if this place is doing its own thing. read more

Like other reviewers, I agree it was pretty greasy (nothing a solid napkin-dabbing couldn't handle). The dough was amazing--nice and thick and seriously tasty bread. Passing thru this college town we asked some college age kids where to find good pizza. They directed us to this place. Ordered our cheese pie and it came quickly. You must try the fried dough!! We went to Geneva for a late night snack on a Sunday after visiting the wineries and Mark's was the only place open. We got a cheese pizza and fried dough. The pizza was ok--the dough was very thick and fluffy. Ok if you eat it fresh, just not what we were expecting. Being from philly and NYC we've had some great pizza...in comparison to the pizza we get at home, this pizza was not that great. The fried dough however brought us back there the next night. Yup, we drove 1/2 hour to get some cinnamon and sugar covered dough. The cashier was also very cool. next time we're back to the area, we will go back for the fried dough and maybe try something else on the menu. I would recommend for a late night snack. read more

We stumbled up on this pizza joint while visiting Geneva, after a late night pre-wedding party (and again after a late night of wedding partying). The pizza was pretty good. I had a slice of pepperoni (and slice of cheese on 2nd night), it was a bit on the greasy side (but isn't that where the flavor comes from?). The slice was very big (think NYC style big). The crust was good, it wasn't so thick it took forever to chew, but not so thin that it ended up being a hard you couldn't eat it. It had the perfect amount of chewy-ness. The sauce also good and a lot of cheese! Yumm! It was perfect for picking up a slice on your way home from the bar. It folds nicely so you can eat it on your walk home. If I am in Geneva again, I would give this place another try. read more

Run worse than Soviet Era Russia I ordered a pizza, two cinnamon sticks, and buffalo wings (totaling $38.25) I took a chance and thought because of the price it would be good. Although the food is at best mediocre the customer service is absolutely terrible I ordered at 9:11 PM and received the order at 10:03 PM When I got the order I asked if I could get this for free or even a discount because of how long I had to wait for this order. The person who delivered the order laughed in my face and charged me the full fee. i called marks in Geneva like I do every one to two my order is $70. Damien answer I place my $62 order with a $3 tip with the driver like i always do. I requested a certain drive not to deliver my food and Damien said on the phone he can't control who deliver my food I asked him politely again he told me to hold on he's getting the manger. Well manger mike got on the phone and preceded to tell me that I was rude to damien to preceded to be sarcastic telling me I'm the problem and this what I got when the delivered my food. It's been at least 4 years since I last visited NY, so I was fiending for a slice of pizza. We stumbled upon this little gem while driving through Geneva on our Upstate NY nature tour. The hubby and I like to keep things simple so we ordered two slices of cheese pizza and a side salad. I have to say that the pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfect! Thin and bubbly with a huge outer crust big enough for me to make the little sandwiches I always annoyed people with when I was a child. The cheese and sauce were tasty. They provided the usual parmesan and pepper flakes. They also provided the GARLIC POWDER! Attention California pizza joints: EVERY good pizzeria needs to have garlic powder on hand. My only semi-dislikes: - Would have preferred a homemade Ranch dressing for the sald instead of store-bought salad packet. - The establishment is really not setup for dine-in. Even a couple of those kindergarten style tables would have been nice. The one star penalty is strictly for the two semi-dislikes listed above. We'd definitely eat here again if we're ever back in the area. read more

There were times when I would have killed for a slice of Marks, or paid someone a large sum to have a pie shipped. I am highly disappointed with the attitude one of the managers had with me after I called ordered a meal and some of what I ordered was delivered but no receipt was provided and I was charged ahead of time for the full meal I ordered. Then my orders of chicken wings and garlic knots were left off and when I questioned it about the special I ordered I was told I had only paid for the salads and the pizza I ordered only. Now I spent more than 40 dollars and yet got 2 salads and a medium pizza I'm pretty sure I was ripped off. The manager told me when I mentioned that I wouldn't be ordering again from them that since I only order once a month that it was no big loss to them. That was the attitude I was given. To be honest at 40- 50 a month for a year well at just $40.00 = $480.00 a year. And I have ordered from this place for 7 or so years since I moved to Geneva. I feel very cheated and abused as a customer. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I hope that manager reconsiders how he does business with customers because that is not a way to keep people coming back. read more

The food is ok, but it's definitely just the same generic pizza and subs you can get anywhere, often for much less. They've stopped offering real meals like pasta in favor of recycled junk like pizza logs. Now their idea of a meal is a few chicken nuggets and stale chips. The online ordering options are better than most, but their menu selection of pretty out of touch with what customers want. For some reason, they stopped offering popular chips and started making their own unflavored, bland, stale chips. Food quality is all over the place. Delivery drivers keep you on the phone requiring you to hold their hand to find your location. Too bad Cousin's Pizza isn't still around. read more
