Well I can start this review waiting for my order. Was seated and passed by for about 15 mins from everyone of the help and finally someone volunteered to wait on us. So far service is a joke and it's really not that busy. Sent the prime rib back. We were looking for a casual pizza place with the typical Italian entrees. We found this place and LOVED it. We sat at the bar. First, the bread was good- and the tomato olive oil dip was out of this world!! I got the chicken parm, which came with a salad that was good. The chicken parm was awesome. Large piece of chicken good sauce and cheese coverage. The sauce is very good. The portion was two full meals for me. My hubs got a slice of pepperoni. Their pizza is a little thicker and chewier than I think of NY style, but it was tasty. My second visit in 2 weeks. The first was not good. The second was dreadful. For a starter my wife and I had fried ravioli, onion rings and breaded squid. Whilst the portion was large, I do not expect cheap store bought food. If I wanted that I would cook it myself. It smacks of lazy chefs or incapable chefs. I then had the fish fry which was the worst fish fry I have had in the area. The portion of actual fish, not the batter, can't have been more than about 4 ounces. I think the fish had been frozen because it was tasteless, overcooked and dry. The batter was even worse. I can't be positive but it seemed as if it may have been bought in frozen and ready battered. The chef had broken the fillet in half after cooking which doesn't enhance the look of it on the plate. The fries were cheap frozen fries. My wife had a salad which she said was the best part of her meal. She then had the veal parmesan with fettuccine. The pasta was way overcooked, certainly not al dente. The veal was tough and chewy. With the meal a lump of indeterminate bread was served without the means to cut it. Just so amateurish. The service was average but no one asked about deserts. Not that we would have had one after what we had so far received. Nobody queried the amount of food not eaten. I would estimate that we ate perhaps one third of what was served. Now I accept that I am a fussy diner but I normally don't complain, I just never go back. But this was so bad I had to write a review. And I definitely won't be going back! Brian Carder read more

Tonight I ordered a chicken parm sub and an antipasto salad. After all the times I have ordered from here this is the first time I was disappointed by my meal. The chicken was over cooked, and the sauce was on the side. The salad was just as disappointing. Lettuce wasn't cut or torn uo.had full leaves of lettuce. Thursday August 13, 2020 Tony and I were in the area spending the night in Waterloo, NY. The hotel desk clerk recommended this restaurant and gave us really good directions. We ordered Beer and Pepsi to drink. We ordered a small pizza with Pepperoni, Mozzarella, onions and banana peppers and garlic rolls on the size. The food was okay nothing to get excited about. The waitress was too busy flirting with a couple guys at the bar to be attentive. Never asked if we needed refills on our drinks. We came in on a Friday evening after calling hours with some family members and were seated and brought drinks and although the server was outstanding, service was a bit slow, especially for her to initially come to our table. She was sincere and apologized and was adjusting to the new tablets. She also had a very large party and several other tables she was handling on her own. I give her much credit and tipped accordingly. She also explained how she works days at the truck stop and how it's very different. The larger party also consisted of family members and our server was kind enough to compliment how well behaved all of the children were. I relayed the message to their parents and they were so pleased. I ordered the baked haddock special, my son the stuffed shells and my daughter the chicken Marsalo. Everything was wonderful. I was surprised at the cost of soda ($3.50) and desserts seemed pricey as well, but overall... dinner was delicious. We'd been here before and it brought back wonderful memories. read more

We wanted pizza and wings so bad and were a little apprehensive based on the reviews. But let me say we loved their pizza and the honey garlic wings. We ordered the small 14" pizza for the two of us and still had half a pizza to take home. We had a choice of Sicilian style, thick crust--or Neapolitan style, thin crust. We love thin so Neapolitan it was. Our server was friendly and efficient. The wings were hot and juicy, but not greasy. So good! My only con was we weren't offered a drink menu. I wanted wine and asked for a drink menu. She said, " Well what do you want?" I settled for the house red which later I saw was a box wine sitting on the bar. I love my wine and would have probably ordered a nicer Cabernet. I could have insisted to see the me menu, but I didn't. This place is definitely 4 star worthy. Glad we came! On our first visit, we ordered a pizza in this casual dining restaurant. It was very good and we decided we would come here again on our way back from wine country. We go at least once a year. On our second visit, we stopped in a little earlier, so that we could enjoy a full meal. The hostess, Payton, was a sweetheart. Our server, Crystal, was very attentive and accommodating. I didn't know which wine to order, and she gave me some samples to taste. I ended up ordering a bottle of Cavit Pinot Noir, which was perfect for dinner. Generally, I am not impressed with most restaurant's Italian sauce. Until my husband passed, I used to make my own from scratch from a recipe his mother gave me (which she got from her mother-in-law ). So, when I say, the sauce was amazing, this is unheard of high praise from me. Payton told us that the sauce IS homemade from scratch. I asked if they sold it by the jar, that's how great it was. Unfortunately, that is not an option. I had the Trio Italiano, so that I could taste more than one dish. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. My friend had the Vodka Rigatoni. It came with the house salad. She really enjoyed hers as well. We both had a lot of leftovers to take home. You can't beat the price either. The total before tip was $67.48. Waterloo is my hometown but I moved out West and have not visited for 10yrs. The very first place I wanted was here! NewYork Pizza here I come! My Son picked it up as takeout so I can not comment on how the staff was for that. As always the Pizza was delicious so no complaints in that department. I returned with my best friend for Prime Rib on a Friday Night for Eat In Dinner, prior Prime Rib here has always been the very best in the area as was the staff. Our waitress was not hospitable at all, she took our order, delivered our order and then never checked back until she seen that we were just sitting there no longer eating. It was not even a busy night. The Prime Rib was horrible! It had no flavor at all, no spices, no au-jus. We had Fettuccine as a side and that was delicious. Our bread was cold. Our bill was almost $70.00 and we left half of it on our plates. I returned on Monday with my Son as he was wanting Fettuccine Alfredo and although I was hesitant it was what he wanted so I returned. That meal was much better, we both had Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and side salad. Our waitress was attentive and my final experience was a good one. So may it was a fluke or just a bad night but I still think when I go home to visit again I will stick with just the pizza. read more

Some of the best chicken wings in New York, hands down. I don't even waste time ordering much else. My standard order is a dozen buffalo wings and a couple of the garlic rolls. Simply perfect. There's plenty of space for large groups, and the decor is nice and relaxing. The menu is broad, and the prices are fair. I don't usually make it to dessert, but there are lots of great choices there too. I've been coming here for years, and highly recommend the food. We ordered drinks, an appetizer sampler (choice of 3 out of several options -- we did fried mozzarella, onion rings and calamari), a large pizza for the guys, and greens 'n beans for me. The restaurant was clean and cozy, with semi-rustic decor and an attractive stone fireplace. Our server was friendly and attentive. She memorized our order rather than writing it down, which always makes me nervous especially when the order is complicated by things like pizza toppings, but everything came out just as ordered. The appetizers were cooked to crispy perfection (no rubbery calamari, exploded mozzarella or burnt onion rings) and arrived to the table quickly. My greens 'n beans were billed as an inexpensive side dish, but the portion was huge, and it arrived with several pieces of unadvertised crusty bread that were perfect for soaking up the broth. My husband and son enjoyed their pizza (half for dinner, half for breakfast the next morning) and found it on par with our favorite hometown pizza place. Overall, an excellent experience! read more
