We are in the process of purchasing our forever home. Mark worked with our schedule to set up the inspection at a time that was convenient for us. He was extremely thorough, detailed answered my million and 1 questions. He was also very patient and kind with my autistic son engaging him in the process as well, which we greatly appreciate. The next day, I received a very detailed report detailing anything he observed that needed to be updated or negotiated with the sellers. I particularly liked the list of items that we received a primary home owners maintenance guide detailing one time tasks for my home and regular maintenance items. As a first time homebuyer that will be serve as a guide for us because we'd have no idea what to address yearly versus at the time of purchase. I was also able to pay him through Venmo which was really convenient. He was pleasant, personable and we enjoyed discovering and viewing the home through his lens. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have an inspection of a home especially if you are a first time buyer. He really makes you feel comfortable and doesn't cut corners with the information either he tells you exactly what he sees, how long you can expect things to last. After having an excepted offer that we thought was going to be on our forever home, we had Mark in to do the home inspection. The house showed and looked beautiful to a point that even Mark thought the inspection was going to go well upon first glance. That quickly changed once he started and he ended up saving us from what was ultimately a money pit. The house did not have a basement, only a crawl space that could be accessed from an entrance in the closet floor of the guest bedroom. Mark and his colleague inspected the entire footprint of the house on their hands and knees in that crawl space. His discovery uncovered about $200,000 worth of repairs to the AC ducts, electric, insulation, rodent and termite damage that a potential buyer would never have been aware of if he did not go the extra mile to do his job. called marks inspections late on a Tuesday, and mark himself answered after the first ring. I needed an inspection for first thing Wednesday morning (the next day) and they made it happen no problem. rich came out and was so professional and knowledgable. I followed him around asking a million questions and he went above and beyond answering every question and even took the time to teach me a few things and make further recommendations. I brought my father in law, a handyman/carpenter and rich had no problem with him asking questions as well. he was so thorough, literally went over every inch of the house with a fine tooth comb, taking pictures, climbing into uncomfortable areas, etc. every interaction with anyone from this company was great, professional and pleasant. couldn't have asked for a better experience with these guys - if you come across this review in your search for a service they provide, just stop looking now and call them. will definitely be using them in the future and would recommend to anyone in the area. read more

We had our condo inspected by Mark's business. He was very accommodative with the timing of inspection on short notice. Steve was the inspector assigned come by to look at our condo. Steve was very prompt and professional in his inspection. Steve was polite, thorough and informative. He went over the results in good detail and made sure to explain anything we had questions with. Steve appeared to have a very thorough knowledge of the construction when we asked questions. He paid extra attention to any areas of concern we had and made sure he was thorough in his analyses. He also pointed out items requiring updating due to building code changes over time. Would have given 5 stars but our inspection was only a Condo so there wasn't as much to inspect as a home, but would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an inspector. read more

Mark was recommended to me by my Agent and I honestly want to say I am very satisfied and impressed. He knows what he is doing and does it very well. He checked everything and took his time to explain everything every step of the way. He let us know what needed to be done and made sure the sellers fixed what needed to be fixed. Now what impressed me even more is, he went out of his way and passed by the home weeks later to make sure the sellers did what they had to do (He didn't have to, but he did). He realized the sellers didn't get the problem fixed well and he contacted me and the seller and made sure it was done before closing! If that isn't great service I don't know what is. When we contacted Mark for an inspection he was quick to get back to us and was able to schedule for the following day. After giving him the address of the property he immediately called us and asked us if we knew that the house we were getting inspected had been built on an old battery factory with chemicals still being found in the soil. We had no idea this was the case and after doing some research we decided to withdraw our offer on the home. Mark could have easily waited until he had already inspected the house to tell us this information. He is trustworthy and knowledgeable and we will definitely be using him for a future inspection and recommending him to friends and family. read more

I wish I would have seen these reviews before I had Mark's inspections come out to inspect my home. I had the same issues, as soon as he got to my home he told me that he has another appointment and couldn't stay long. The job felt very rushed and he did not inspect my home properly. I had another inspector come out and he couldn't believe what Mark had done which was nothing, The home had multiple issues that he me did not specify. It was so bad that the other inspector I hired jokes and said " Who did you hire a kid to do this"! I would not recommend Mark's inspection and his one man shop to anyone! This was our 8th home purchase. We've dealt with as many inspection companies. Mark was the best. Mark arrived early to the property and was waiting for us. He explained what he was going to be looking for in the home we were purchasing and proceeded to point out the good and problem issues with the home. Mark was super responsive and was able to schedule us right away (even when I changed the time on him at the last minute). He also recommended inspectors for our pool and septic, which was really helpful.
