This Debenhams store is the anchor store for Centre Court Shopping Centre in Wimbledon. It isn't the biggest department but has the full variety of different departments. I had a successful shopping trip here today. The top floor had a lot of homeware and kitchen gadgets - fortunately, a lot of my friends are foodies and love to cook and entertain. The middle level is mainly ladies clothing but the ground floor yielded more success with menswear, fragrances & cosmetics and also a gift section with some fun things to give. Tthe usual womens, kids mens, home wear, food and a restaurant area also spread across 3 floors so actually a rather big Marks. Can get busy in here as a very British fav. shop. Assistants are generally polite and very helpful. Bra fitting = best to get an appointment though as always pretty busy especially at the weekends. Can do order and collect there to save time. Woman's clothing on the ground level, food and such on the middle level and on the top floor I couldn't tell you. The store is well organized and it's easy to find things. While shopping if you think of using the facilities, think again. There's always a crazy line up for the toilets and as always at Marks, there's always one or more toilet that's broken. The food hall is the best part of the store as far as I'm concerned. They have a huge selection of ready to eat meals, biscuits, wines and veg. The biscuits (especially the shortbread) are not to be missed and you should save room in your suitcases. M&S (regular) it is like a department store. Great quality clothing for great prices. If you are traveling to England during your birthday month, make sure to sign up for the Marks & Spencer loyalty card and you will get a sweet treat or grapes free for your birthday. These are located all over the country and all over London. If you go during any holidays, it's even better.

There's been some recent-ish renovations to try to keep the store looking fresh. They're partially successful. Oddly though the women's shoes and accessories are on the ground floor, along with the men's clothes. The next floor up is all women's clothes, with the top floor having homewear-type things. And a Sports Direct concession, and workout wear. It just means you have to be prepared to traipse up and down and all around to find everything. But when you do, good bargains to be had in the blue cross sales, and a good variety of brands and clothes for both men and women.

AVOID! Employs false advertising and illegal unfair trading practice to retain customer's money…read more Reported to trading standards! Debenhams and supplier Destina Home intentionally mislead customers by advertising reasonable returns T&C's only to enforce significantly worse not communicated at any stage of purchase. It takes 2 months to process returns with a customer service team that takes no action unless chased daily. Once acceptable terms are agreed in writing by Debenhams customer service and products are returned, they go back on their word and illegally retain their customer's money anyway!

if I could leave 0 stars I would…read more I purchased a sofa bed 10 months ago and a spring broke last week. The sofa has a 12 month warranty (says so on the Living & Home website and I showed them) but Debenhams have told me that because I have had it over 6 months and do not have a copy of the warranty they won't do anything. I pointed out I don't need it as I clearly states on the manufacturer website all their furniture is covered for 12 months, again I was told as I'd had it over 6 months they refused to do anything. I have since been in touch with Living & Home to see if they can help in any way. I will not buy from Debenhams again and I urge people to think hard before making any furniture purchases from them because if anything goes wrong they won't cover the warranty and will make pathetic excuses not to help in any way, shape, or form. I'm now left out of pocket and nothing to sit on.
