Wilkinsons, Marks and Spencers are there but shops close down as fast as they go up. No shortage of cafes, mac donalds and coffee shops, with burger stalls scattered around. At the weekend there are a couple of childrens rides. The plus about Marlows is the live music which makes it a very chilled out place to visit, I particuarly like the red indian music that is there at times.

The shop itself is usually very busy, and they rarely have enough staff on the tills, so you can end up queueing for a while. The aisles are quite narrow, so it can be tricky to maneuvre if you have a buggy or are a wheelchair user. Despite this I have given it a high rating because you can get some brilliant bargains, and it's a good place to start teaching the kids about shopping and paying for things because everything is the same price.

The best thing about shopping here, other than the occasional amazing deal (my favourite was 12 bottles of iced tea for 99p!) is that if you are not given a receipt for your purchase the Manager will give you £5 cash! They had loads of tills open on a Saturday so got served pretty much immediately even though there were loads of people here!
