I frequently have my oil changed here. I do the synthetic oil so I only have to come every 10,000 miles. There can be a bit of a weight during high times but overall the service is good. They never recommend anything I don't need. I don't always do everything they recommend, sometimes I prefer to replace my cabin filter by myself. I also replaced my own lightbulbs. The car wash is decent and about as busy as the other local automatic car washes which varies by weather in time of year. read more

I was in today for an oil change at you Chippewa Falls location, and had a few problems with technician "Daniel". When I arrived the process started out as expected, went through the options for oil and the benefits of each. I selected the $52.99 option. After a few minutes Daniel made it aware that my tires needed to be rotated. I passed on the service but instead of moving on Daniel kept pushing that they needed to be done. Each time I said thanks but not today. Daniel asked four times about the tires. Once was enough. Daniel came back showing me that the differential fluids needed to be replaced as well. I thanked him for letting me know but passed on the service today. Daniel at the computer stand talking to me but not facing me rambled on how it (the differential) needs to get done. I again noted that I understood but was passing today. Daniel writing something on a piece of paper then showing another technician got upset that his pen stopped working so he chucked the pen against the wall. As he walked away under his voice, "you need to get that done". Thanks, I know you have told me three times. Daniel now walking back to the computer area "You can turn on the car now!". I did not hear him the first time he said it so he thought he need to yell it at me? Then yells "Ok turn it off!". Walks up to my window and takes my credit card. Comes back with a paper receipt, hands me the receipt and puts down my hood. Daniel walks to the corner where there is a sink. He begins to wash his hands then looks over at me and said "You can go!". So a couple of things here. No thank you when paying. On the invoice it says he checked my lights (bulbs) but he never asked me to turn my lights on or do a right or left blinker check. The invoice says he reset the oil light; nope. I did that. Daniel undid the snaps to air filter but never looked at the filter. I got home and checked myself and its grey in color, so obviously needs to be changed. Daniel was either yelling at me or being so passive aggressive that I did not know what to do. Horrible service from the upper technician. read more

I'm done with them. I've been a customer for many years. This "Lube n Wash" is now a service station, so expect to sit in line for at least an hour before you get in to have work done. People behind me today probably had to wait an hour and a half plus. They really should have only one bay open for other service and keep the other two open for oil changes, since they are called a lube lube n wash and advertise fast oil changes. read more

We waited in line so long that we gave up and pulled out. No one acknowledged us. Workmen were standing around drinking coffee and chatting. It doesn't take 3 guys to change oil. My husband used to own a Midas and said they never treated their customers this poor. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

Always a long wait. Every. Single. Time. Today was a 45 min wait which then made me late picking our son up from Robotics Club after school but after you're in line for that long with a train of vehicles behind you what do you do?? In the future I will be scheduling an appointment at another business so I know that I will get in & out in a timely manner. And as other customers have pointed out, Markquart Lube & Wash seems to have no lack of staff on hand who are generally very friendly, but the service and efficiency in the bay are greatly lacking. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Stopped in to get an oil change and tire rotation. During my service the tech crushed the cabin filter then proceeded to blame it on the place I had my oil changed before, adding additional cost to my already overpriced oil change. A couple weeks later I noticed I had an air leak in one of my tires, guess what... The tech at Marquart didn't reset the sensors in my tires causing my car to tell me the wrong tire was low. Then to add icing to this cake the next time I had an oil change done, I was told my oil was really sludgy. I wonder how that could be when I get my oil changed regularly and often before it's even due...wait I know... Someone either didn't put new oil in my car or they used the wrong stuff. These people are extremely dishonest and after spending a lot of money for car care my cars need work due to them messing up the jobs they did. They actually lost a bolt out of my car and then replaced it with some other random bolt in their shop that was too long. This place charges high dollar for their services and does not get the job done and then lies about the work they actually do. What a joke. read more

I have used this location for both oil changes and car washes. The staff is very helpful because they are sure to tell you everything that may be due this time or next time your vehicle comes in for an oil change. Sure, sometimes they recommend things and it may feel like they are telling you to do it, but they are just looking out for your vehicle. If you don't keep up with these services, your car is going to go to crap. The prices on the services they offer are great too. Eau Claire isn't the cheapest place to live, but they are the cheapest place to do some of the more involved services such as trans services, coolant services, and differential services. As for the car wash, it is a touchless system that uses high powered water jets to clean the car. I am very particular in how my vehicle looks, and I know that these washes are good for in-between cleanings of the vehicle, but they are never able to do the paint justice. I always go through the wash then polish and dry the vehicle to get the best clean. I read Mauricea's post from 11/1/15 and just have to laugh at it. There is no way ANY touchless wash is going to get that kind of dirt off of a vehicle. If your car is that dirty, you need to put your panties on and clean it by hand. read more

Lots of waiting and half the time the service mistakes only make problems worse. After two years of service work, I'm not going there ever again. Yesterday, I waited for 40 minutes just to get tires rotated, which took 10 minutes and some annoying mansplaining that only painted about half the picture for me. I'm done. read more
