We spent over an hour together that evening just chatting like old friends, and by the end of it, we determined that the house wasn't the one for us after all. After following up with them to ask what happened and why they ignored my email, they said "Sorry, we goofed, but you now have to wait for the bank to send you the check. It'll be 20 business days." An error that I caught and notified them of was ignored, and now $2500 that was erroneously paid to the bank instead of us and all we get is a "sorry sucks to be you." Every real estate transaction I've been privy to has had calculation errors (can title companies not do math??), but this was a bad error, caught, and ignored. Not OK. Will be telling everyone to avoid WFG.
