In the beginning of 2019, I found myself needing to sell my 80 year old home and move across…read morecountry. While some of the house systems had been replaced or upgraded over the years, I knew that the electrical would need updated and there was a bunch of other work that needed done on the house, including updating the kitchen and bath. As a widow managing the whole move by myself, the thought of hiring a bunch of professionals to do the work (or doing any of it myself) and then being willing to vacate with 3 rambunctious dogs for realtor showings just seemed too much. I had received "We'll buy your house" letters over the years and while I usually just tossed them, I thought I'd check it out so I called one. That's how I found Robert Starcher. He came out and within a day after his visit, I had a cash offer for the house. I engaged a real estate lawyer just to check through the paperwork and make sure I had the information I needed to make a decision about whether or not to take the offer. The lawyer was less expensive than hiring a realtor, so that was a good bonus for me. Robert went through all the costs including his profit so I could understand the reason for the amount he was offering. On my end, I figured out how much I might be able to get for my house if I paid for all the needed work, the realtor fees, and other costs (including my time and sanity), and found that Robert's offer was realistic for my situation. I accepted his offer. Being able to tell him when I wanted to close (vs. taking a chance on when the house might sell through a realtor) helped me immensely in coordinating movers, arranging temporary housing while I searched for a new house, and making my cross-country move. Knowing I wouldn't have to make multiple dump runs and donation runs by myself to clear out 30 years of accumulated stuff was a huge load off my mind. With Robert taking care of those things, I could simply focus on getting the stuff I was keeping, my dogs, and myself to my new town. Robert's cash offer and quick payment at close for my Seattle house meant that I could make a cash offer on the house I fell in love with in Pennsylvania. There was another offer for the same amount on the table, but I got the house because I had the cash and the other person was financing. The whole process was as easy and stress-free as moving can ever be, and I'm really glad I chose to work with Robert. Ann C

We had already moved out of state and this was the first time we used Bret for his services. It was much to my pleasant surprise how he took care of everything needed to prepare our home. He truly went beyond what anyone could expect. Bret had our home professionally staged, photographed, marketed all with the highest quality. Bret hit our deadline. Bret was extremely professional. Bret, you have an incredible talent and made it so easy... thank you, thank you, thank you!

Sunny and Greg Butler know the area and are true real estate professionals. Why does one still need a real estate pro at a time where we are all able to research our way up and down the internet? Because 1) if you are a seller, THIS is likely one of your biggest lifetime investments and 2) if you are a buyer, you need someone who can represent you well. We were the sellers in this case and the Butlers spent hours assessing our house, creating and executing in a marketing plan, giving us feedback on our home and supporting us (as we had already moved away) in staging and maintaining, and managing through an assortment of unpredictable events (storms that knocked trees over for example). They advised us of the market Daily (the whole spectrum of stock, real estate, interest rates and their impact on the real estate market) and used their 30+ years in real estate to help us stay ahead of the market and to sell our house in a way that we thought created a win-win for us and the buyers. We are grateful for all of their hard work and would recommend them wholeheartedly for any real estate transaction. Trustworthy. Competent. Kind.
